Standards Coverage report
When using curriculum mapping we are having a hard time confirming that all standards associated to a curriculum master record was linked to a curriculum map. For example we know all the specific standards that should be covered in 3rd grade math which are linked to the curriculum record. We will then want to confirm that the curriculum map appropriately addresses all the standards to ensure complete coverage of standards.
A report which lists which standards were covered how many times and highlighting the standards which were not covered would be helpful.21 votes -
Add Ability to Select Multiple Individual Students
It would be helpful to have the ability to select multiple individual students on the PIMS Extract screen just like you can do for other reports. Right now I can enter a Student Key range ultimately allowing me to run a PIMS extract for one kid at a time. However I'm thinking it'd be helpful to be able to select Range or Individual. If you check Individual you could then add one name key at a time to a selected names list. That way if there are 5 kids I know I must run an extract for I can add…

Add Grade Year to the Range in Custom Forms NSOE
We use a lot of custom forms and you can choose which forms a student fills out based on their grade. We as asking that you also add grad year as a range to define who can see the forms. When my 4K students are enrolling for next year their grade will be PK/EC and that is the same for all grade years after the current 4K so it does not show the forms correctly when a student is enrolling.

Sort Events by Category
Currently events in the standards gradebook cannot be sorted by category (only by due date). Based on how elementary teachers are using categories to track competencies in different areas it would be ideal to be able to sort by event category. I would like to see this option added to the Event Display options in the standard gradebook.

Enable Families to enter vaccination information
To reduce data entry and enable more electronic processing please create a way for families to enter new vaccination information - either as an option in Online Registration or as an item in Family Access similar to what is available in NSOE.
Similar to NSOE families can enter their student's vaccination records instead of having nursing staff enter all. This is a nice feature in NSOE but not all vaccinations are done at the time of the NSOE entry and there is no way for parents to go back in and add them later OR add future required vaccinations.35 votes -
Teacher lunch and preps on schedule
Enable a course to be indicated that it is for a teacher schedule
. On a course have in the drop down 'category' have Teacher Schedule. When you would select this you could have meets and assign teachers but not assign students. This would then enable the class to print on the teacher schedule.34 votes -
Add Edit Scores Option to Test Scores Tab
Attached is a small tutorial with screen shots outlining an option I'd like to see added to the Test Scores tab. If you work with test scores you know that the import option is best. However if you're using demographic information to load or if you have a number of kids that cannot be imported you have to find some sort of assembly line method to make it work to be efficient. The process isn't bad however one simple button added to each of two screens can make this process SO much easier for those of us needing to input…

Schedule Tracker to update real time/more often
It would be helpful if the tracker would update real time or could be set to update periodically throughout the day - since it only updates once a day as they are updating and correcting things they are not seeing a true picture of the status of students via the Widgets/Tracker.

Add- Sort by Counselor to transcripts and RC
Since we can now designate the student's counselor and can print for a range of counselors for transcripts and report cards it would also be helpful if we could print all the transcripts sorted by counselor. Currently we have to print each counselors group of transcripts by range with means we run the print multiple times.

NSOE in Family Access - entity specific
Would like a option to be able to disable New Student Online enrollment in Family access for each entity. Making it entity specific.

Customer Meal Statement Deposits Posted First
On the Customer Meal Statement report I am requesting that all deposits are reflected first and then the purchases for each day. When viewing a Customer Meal Statement customers look like they are in the negative more often than they actually are because the programming currently has all the purchases for the day posted first before the payments for the day are posted. This makes it hard to do a quick analysis of a customer to see how frequently they are actually in the negative. Add Near & Far vision screening fields to Letters
Merge fields in the letter only have Corrected and Uncorrected Right and Left eyes and is pulling the Far vision results. For the state of PA we need to specify the Near vision and Far vision fields for each eye corrected and uncorrectd and label and report them all. Need the Near vision fields added to the letter.

Option to exclude account from timeout setting
We have accounts that are setup for student kiosks in the Clinic and Counselors office. Because of the attendance requirements we have our security setup to automatically log users out after 15 minutes which is also happening to these kiosk accounts. We need an option to exclude them so they don't have to login every 15 minutes.

On student Profile when entering the student key social security number or other id if the student does not fall in the range would like it to default to a blank or asterisks screen instead of first student in alpha.

Application of trend grading to subjects
We have set up subjects within each course that each have multiple skills. We would like for the subject grade to be a trend of all events added within that subject. Right now it is set up so that each skill gets a trend rating and if we choose to grade the subject it is an average of each of the skill ratings.

Entering events for specific studnts
We would like to have the option of selecting individual students or ranges of students when entering an event. Right now when entering an event the default is for the event to be applied to all students.
With standards based grading the teacher is often grading only one student or small groups of students. This would allow the flexibility for teachers to only enter the events for the students who were assessed.57 votes -
Notification of Assignments turned in Electronic
From Teacher : I'm wondering about students submitting late assignments through Skyward and if there is a way to get a notification when a student submits an assignment late. I'm finding that after I go through and grade assignments that have been uploaded I don't have a good way to know if a student submits something after that. So far the only option seems to be for me to keep checking the graded assignment to see if anything has been submitted recently. That takes a lot of checking. Medication Inventory Autoemail
The problem with the Medication Inventory dose email is if you have an epipen that is only one dose. If we set up that autoemail that parent will receive an autoemail daily if we set it up that parents receive an email once the dose is down to 5. The expiration date autoemail works great for the epipen but not the other. Any suggestions?

Medication Inventory in Quick Entry
When in Quick Entry for Medication our health aides just check that the student received their medication for that day. The only problem is it doesn't show them on that screen what the current inventory is so they are able to keep reducing the inventory without realizing it is already at a negative. So ideally they should not be able to give a medication that is in negative inventory or it should be highlighted red. Unfortunately we are finding our medication inventory and the medication in the bottle are not matching.
