IEP type as an available Skyward field
We would like to pull the IEP type into Custom Forms but that is not a current skyward field.

SE I-4 Form -Add Merge Field for 'Times per Frequency' -Part B & C/ Code Table & Merge Field for -Part A
Please consider adding a merge field for the times per frequency field that is on the intermediate screen for the I-4 Program Summary form. Also, it would make more sense to add the possibility of further defining that field. Currently, we are only allowed to enter a numeric value and we can not define that the numeric value is for example, "minutes". Ex: we can set the frequency to be 2x monthly and the times per frequency to "20" but we would still have to manually add the word "minutes" to the form because there is no other way to…

Date for Waiting for Approval IEP or Approval of IEP's & Evals
It would be great if a date could be entered or auto filled for when an IEP/Eval is marked as "Waiting For Approval" or "Approved". So then you would not only know who marked it, but the date they did it.

Initial Placement Consent Page
Is it possible to insert a Page Break above the PARENT CONSENT/PERMISSION FOR INITIAL PLACEMENT on the P-1. I have to go into each form for every initial evaluation and input a page break so the signature page is a separate page.

DOB on Medicaid Form
The service providers have asked that the students date of birth be on the Medicaid Consent Form. Can this be added?

Currently the form not only does not prefill a contact person at the bottom, it doesn't allow you to type in a name.

Special education forms should include names of all guardians
Fields should be added or updated to include all guardian names on all form templates that are sent to guardians. Currently only the names of the primary and secondary guardians (from families 1 & 2) are included. Occasionally there are more than two guardians for a student.

Add a date range for the report: Print Forms
Would be nice to be able to add a date range to the PRINT FORMS report.
Our school does a new I-6 for each progress report. Would like to be able to print just the most recent instead of all of them.1 vote -
Enhance LEP Student Indicator
We are required to track LEP students even after they are fluent. Could the indicator have an option to "Show Indicator even if Student has exited the Program" similar to what is available for the Special Ed Disability indicator?

Medicaid Consent default to blank instead of NO
Update the Medicaid Consent on Student Profile > Special Ed > Other SE tab to default to blank. There is no way to run a report to see which parents we need to contact and which parents said no.

Add Student Ranges to Nightly Auto Email
Nightly Auto Emails are being generated for inactive students long after they have left the district or graduated. Add Student Ranges functionality, like there is for Event Auto Email. See attached screen shots showing setup

Spell Check
Is it possible to add a spelling and grammar check to the special education forms so when staff is typing information on the forms, spell check and grammar check is happening?

Prevent deletion of Evaluation
From Student Services, Special Education, Student Profile, it is too easy to delete a student's Evaluation, which also deletes al IEPs, forms, placements and disabilities under that Evaluation.

Footer Information on Special Education Paper work
In the footer section of special education paperwork, the student's name and date the form was printed appears at the bottom. The font is extremely small. It would be nice if the font was bigger so it is easier to read and see. I have been told by Skyward the size is hard coded so it would have to be a programming change which would affect all users.

SpEd ACT Form to mimic the Forward Form layout (with the dropdown options)
This past year we worked with Skyward on the Forward Form to clean up the accommodations and designated supports to ONLY be able to choose options that apply to Wisconsin in the drop down. We put in a support ticket to see if we could do that same for the ACT Form. Skyward doesn't have any current plans to do so and advised that we submit an idea. Our Director / DAC, requested that we submit the idea in hopes they would change their mind and reconsider this option.

3 Year olds not in the PK Grad YEAR receiving Sped Services
Year for 3K students who receive services through Marathon County Special Education. They have now taken over the Birth to 3 services for the County.
As of now I put them in a PK grad year to upload WISE etc, then change back to a code I made (3K) This way I don't forget to do a status change for the following school year.1 vote -
Add Medicaid Parental Consent Date for Special Ed Other tab in Student Profile
SHARS and other groups and entities now require the date of parental consent for medicaid billing. This is collected in the Frontline ESTAR/ESPED program and we have asked them to add that field to the nightly export.
However, we need a date field in Student Profile - Special ED - Other tab for the data to be imported to. Please see the screenshots doc attached. Thank you.

NSOE add special education and 504 accommodations fields for parents to populate. It doesn't have to be all fields just those to alert office they need to pass on to special education

Printing Electronic Signature Pages Within IEP/EVAL Forms
When enabling an electronic signature on an IEP/EVAL form, it would be critical to have the ability to print that electronic signature within the form. This is essential when a student trasnfers to another district, and signature pages of consent are required to be sent. The ability to effectively use an electornic signature in SPED forms requires the capability to include that signature wtihin the form, as if the guardian signed it manually in person.
