Create Option to Not Create Letters If Emailed
Attendance Letters are currently generated for all students who meet the criteria. Parents of those students may have email addresses and can receive attendance emails. At this time there is no way to not generate letters for students whose parents will already get attendance emails and those letters must be manually pulled from the batch that was generated. It would be nice to be able to flag a student whose parents will receive emails to not generate an attendance letter.

Do not show "end online form" date in Family Acces
We are using the Online Form Configuration (Family Accesss) in connection with NSOE. When students enroll for the current school year - there are additional custom forms we want them to complete. We are adding their names to a processing list so they can view them in Family Access. What we do not like is that the End Online Form date shows in the Family Access canned message and cannot be removed.
Please either remove this from the canned message or give us the option to show the End Online Form date or not.

Block out grade entry for ranges of students
We are looking for a way to isolate teachers from being able to enter any grades into their grade books for a range of students. We have students of all grades within classes and coming from a variety of schools. At the end of each year we get notice from our sending schools when they want grades for their senior students as well as when they want their underclassmen grades.

Medical Grade Override Hassle
We have noticed that when the Medical override is used for a quarter that the FINAL calculation does not take the override into consideration for final average.
If there are 30 assignments before a Medical is given then the teacher needs to go through and set all 30 assignments to NO COUNT.
It would seem that applying a Medical override should do just that...Override. Override the assignments so they do not count for or against the student who now is receiving a grade override.

Medication Stopped Date
We are trying to print the Medication report.We need a way show the stopped date on the report for nurses. The report only shows the date the medication was started. We need both a start and stop date to be reflected on the Medication report.

NOSE Capture Digital Signature from Parent
We would like to add an additional step to NSOE that would allow the parent to digitally sign the application. Would also like for it to convert the application to a .PDF and add it under the Portfolio > Enrollment Attachments. This will give us a signed snapshot of the application of what it was when the parent submitted it.

Dual Enrollment Warning for Inactive Record
If Dual Enrollment settings only apply to Active student enrollment records then we need another popup that will warn customer that the student about to be enrolled has an existing enrollment in the future.

Move the Population Served to the Class Meet
I would like to request moving the population served from the class section to the class meet. When reporting Fall PEIMS districts have to go into the "Maintain" area and edit those fields for SPED teachers to match their budget code. If that field was on the meet we would not need to spend so much time in maintaining and editing.

Auto Email Notification Filter Option
When a students enrolls either through the NSOE module or with paper for NY when we are still in CY most of the auto emails should not be triggered to run. This could be accomplished by choosing Inactive/Active however if a student is enrolling in the CY but not for a week or two they may be put into the system as Inactive but we still want the auto emails to trigger. In addition to informational emails we send auto emails to our helpdesk system to automatically create tickets to setup student accounts prepare devices etc. If not starting until…

TAKS still appears on Withdrawal Form
Because we no longer are in the TAKS business is there any way that line item on the withdrawal form can be changed to STAR or EOC and show those scores instead? It is wasted space right now.
Most people don't even know what TAKS is especially at the younger grade levels since that test has nearly reached its end life. It would seem more appropriate to have current terminology for testing on the withdrawal papers rather than outdated testing. Thanks for considering this updated change to the form.24 votes -
Display Year Specific Forms
When customers have NSOE open for CY and NY they are attaching custom forms specific to that school year. To help the staff be able to easily identify the forms that student filled out would like the Enrollment Application Processing Screen to only display the list of forms attached to the school year the student is applying to.

Add Attachment Feature
Is it possible to add a feature that will allow for parents to submit attachments such as JPG PNG PDF when requesting attendance requests (excuses)?
This feature will give parents the ability to upload any additional excuse documentation for the student (medical excuse personal excuse etc.). It will also provide the district with documentation provided by the parent that can be used in audit situations.26 votes -
Make Tardies turn different color than Absences
When the teacher is taking attendance tardies turn red just like absences. It would be easier to distinguish the tardies from the absences if the tardies turned a different color like yellow.
This would make it easier for teacher to make sure they have marked the students correctly. Looking at the screen if they see yellow and no students are tardy they would know immediately that the student was marked incorrectly.36 votes -
Delete default attachment type of "Attachment"
We have created several attachment types however none of them are being used. When the registrar or whoever opens the window the first type they see is "Attachments" so they select it without reading/selecting the correct attachment type.
Currently there is a default attachment type of "Attachment". When deleted from the table it will automatically recreate itself.37 votes -
CTE Reports for Student's Vocational record
Would like to see more reports available to print or customize for student's CTE records. For example I would like to be able to print a report for each senior student in our CTC that list the industry credentials they received for their whole CTC education - they may have received credentials during each year of their enrollment here. Need a way to show all their credentials to keep as part of a permanent file for the student who may request it for SOAR credits.

Rewrite Test Scores on Custom Transcripts
The Test Scores object on Custom Transcripts is a bit of a train wreck. Essentially you get a combination of a hand-made layout combined with the bulky poorly laid out Test Scores Report onto a single document...the snapshot of the attached transcript layout and then generated PDF was actually 9 pages long. There simply has to be a cleaner more professional way to pull Test Scores data. If it means redoing the report too we're all for it. Staff State ID
Please make Staff State ID available in Skybuild.
This is needed in Skybuild so they can import or export items to link staff information. They need another field to link to. Skybuild does have the ability to use the Student ID.93 votesLooking into options for adding Staff State ID to Skybuild.

Percent Attendance by Teacher Needs Another Link
Nearly every single one of our 21 schools asks for Percent Attendance. We've obviously needed to update security access because the report is located under Educator Access Plus however telling them over and over again how to get to it has become a bit mind-boggling. Is there any way we could add the link to this report to ALSO show under Office\Attendance\Reports? Wouldn't that make sense? Yes it's teacher-based thus being here is cool but it's also teacher and grade level based from an office perspective.
