As of date for any special program
We often get asked, who was ____ last year. (Fill in the blank with any special program or Food Service.)
A number of areas in Data Mining have an As Of date field. It would be amazing if all would have a "___ As Of Date"
Examples:
ADM As Of Date- Type (Y/N already is there, but we need to know the type)
Alt Ed As Of Date -Program Name
Food Service As Of Date- Lunch Code
Foster Care As Of Date
Gifted and Talented As Of Date- Area
Homeless As Of Date - Living Arrangement4 votes -
family data mining by family
I need a data mine to list the F1G1, F2G1, and all students in the family on the same line. Currently, I would have to do a Vlookup or "remove duplicates" in Excel to get only one listing because it lists the whole family for each student with duplicate info. Unfortunately, it is an automated report that goes to Linkit so I need the report created so that it can go directly to them in the proper format for importing.

Pupil Nondiscrimination Self-Evaluation Report - create one with all necessary fields to be cloned by user. I have attached a copy of one that I ran, I forgot the ELL's so I need to redo it. This gives you an idea of what I am talking about.

Add field for youngest child
It would be very helpful to have a field to indicate whether a student is the youngest child or not.

Report Legal Name to Ed-Fi - add checkbox field in data mining
PLEASE add the "Report Legal Name to Ed-Fi" checkbox as a Yes/No option to choose in data mining so that we can find inconsistencies without having to stare and compare as to which names have changed. Thank you!

information labels
It would be nice to be able to have documentation or definitions for setting up for own label templates when creating address or information labels in Skyward. I can't find documentation on the definition of margins, label dimensions, or pitch. It would also be nice to be able to see if the templates in our system are Skyward templates or label templates created by our internal users.

Data Mining Club Membership
TN has added CTSO membership ID and Chapter ID as part as the requirements to the state. Can these two items be added to data mining to more easily pull a report?

Add period field from the grades tab to data mining
It would really help if the period field under the grading area could be added to data mining.

Data-minable PGP
We use PGPs to capture loads of information on students for teachers to view. The problem is that you can only view individual students and there is no report function. If the PGP were data-minable then we could run reports for large groups of students.

Identity Field and Data Mining
Adding the Identity area is very helpful, however, Data Mining will not allow you to create a report to only export students with entries in the Identity field. The only way it exports is for all students and then you have to compare line by line to find the students that have a different legal name than what their profile name (preferred name) is.

Add new field to Data Mining
There is a new field that was added to Skyward that is not available in Data Mining. The field is on the E/W screen - Exclude from EOYA. I need to see how many of our students are not marked before we do the state upload but because this field is not available from Data Mining, I cannot get what I need.

Please add the Home Language Survey data from the Special Programs area to the Data Mining area so it can be reported on.

Data mine assignments synced from LMS
Currently, you can only data mine information about online assignments built in Skyward—not assignments that are synced over from an LMS such as Canvas. Our district needs the ability to generate an Excel report of listing all students' assignment scores and submission dates. I appreciate you can generate assignment detail and progress reports that list assignments reports via Educator Access Plus, but the print format is not usable.

More filters on data mining to exclude
It would be nice if we could exclude with a click of the button. For example, if I want all my language minority students, then I could say "not like English" and I would get all the students with another language than English. It would be a very convenient and easy to understand feature. Thanks!

Data Mining Oldest Only
When running a data miniing report, is there a way to get the report to pull just one record for each family (Family 1 and Family 2). We need to run an address report for district students (KG-12th grade) for Families 1 & 2 but we only want one record per family. So basically add an Oldest/Only button or feature to Data Mining Reports.

Data Mine Previous School and Previous District fields
The fields "Previous School" and "Previous District" located under the School Path tab, are not available in data mining. We have families fill this information out and there is no way to data mine it out to use or analyze. It would be extremely helpful to be able to data mine out these two fields. I would like to use them to verify new KG students have the correct entry codes for state reporting.

Please create an available fields report for data mining like there is in Skybuild. Additionally, a comparison list between the two to assist users when gathering data.

Data Mining Report
Is there a way to format a Data Mining Report so that the fields will print underneath one another rather than across the page. With the maximum Report Width of 172 for a landscape report, when the fields print across it limits the amount of data in the report.
Ex.
Parent Name
Address
Phone Number
Emailinstead of Parent Name Address Phone Number Email

Data Mining Sort Options
It would be very beneficial if we could sort by a field (homeroom, advisor etc) and select the option "print all data on one line" together. As of right now, if you chose to sort and have a page break by a field, you can not chose to have all the data on one line. The same is vise versa, if you chose to have all data on one line, you can not sort/page break by a field.

Add Emp. ID from Staff record to Data Mining in areas where Teacher is listed such as Schedule.
We send the NameID or EmpID to vendors as the field to identify our teachers/staff. Recently, I needed a field that was in Data Mining. I had trouble finding it in SkyBuild so I thought I was going to have to rebuild my extract in Data Mining, I needed Emp ID (NameID) as the key for teachers but Data Mining only had Alphakey to identify the teachers/staff. We don't use that field when sending data to vendors.
