Attendance count/ minutes in and out on Report Cards
When using the minutes in and minutes out in attendance and you have 2 periods....it is counting a full 1/2 day when you enter and excused on in Period 1 regardless of how long they were gone. It should pull onto the report card the same way it pulls to the state. This should be an easy fix.

Change the default on the Mass Post Grade Change Request to EXCLUDE dropped students
When using the Allow Teachers to Make Grade Change Request to Closed Grading Periods when the request are being processed under EA+>Gradebook>Secondary>Grade Posting Administration>Teacher Requests for changes to Previously Posted Grades>Mass Post Grade Changes>the default is to Post Grades for Dropped Students. 99% of the time you would not want to do this and if they don't select the option at the top to "Exclude Dropped Students from Mass Posting grades get posted that should not and this can easily be missed causing students to get credits for classes/grades that they should not get. Transporation/Busing module in registration process
During registration we have a Google Form for parents to request student pick-up/drop-off. The parents enter their addresses in the form but those addresses get misspelled or different abbreviations for ST, Str, Street. It would be nice to have a transporation module in the online registration portal where parents can select their address from the Address Master and then the correct bus would be displayed (with bus driver info)...

Comments on Health Condition indicator at a certain security level for Student Indicator
Allow all members of the Student Management group to view comments on Health Conditions indicated by the Health Condition indicator at a specific security level for Student Indicators without giving access to the entire students' IHP.

Emergency contacts
Have a box next to the contact name to insert words like call this parents first or look at the comment box. I don't always carrot down to see these messages before I start calling emergency contacts.

NSOE Mass Purge Using Processing List
In order to be in compliance with the Wisconsin Public School District General Records Schedule for record retention, we can only keep enrollment/registration forms for 7 years after the withdrawal date. Being able to mass purge with a processing list of students who meet that criteria would be beneficial.

Option To Open Skyward In Same Tab After Logging In
I currently use SSO to sign into Skyward but also have the Allow Use of Skyward Password logon option as well. When I'm in Preferences, I have an option "Open Skyward in Same Tab After Logging in" which is great. When I click on the question mark next to it, it states "This only applies when logging in with a Skyward or Network Password. This does not apply when logging in using Single Sign On (SSO)." Is there a way you can make this available for the rest of my users who do use SSO but don't have the option…

transport miles shown in Family Access (along with route and stop)
In order for students to be eligible for free transportation or for a parent to know if they need to fill out a parent paid contract, parents need to know the miles transported (which comes back from Riteway and gets loaded into Skyward). However, miles is not shown in Family Access. Miles needs to be added as a field in Family Access Busing :

I would like to suggest that there be an addition of running Mass Generate Family Permissions/Passwords (WS\FA\FM\PS\UT\PP) by Processing List. Our school district turns off web access to families who have any type of residency exception each year until updated documentation has been turned in. Our current process is to manually call up each necessary student profile then navigate to the web access tab and then edit the family access to uncheck Allow Family Access. Could there be a print button in Family Access for parents to print the student discipline offenses? Either one at a time or all at once (history) option.

Allow Student Indicator for Threat Assessment on Offense or BTA in Special Programs
It would be VERY great to have a Student Indicator available that is based on either the Discipline Offense record SSS Threat Assessment checkbox, or the Special Programs BTA record.
Yes, there is a work around if you use the District Categories - BUT that requires more steps on already overworked staff and adds MORE chance of human error in data entry that may cascade into other areas.

Allow for the selection of activities in the day summary report. It would be great to schedule this report for our sports teams without having to create a processing list.

Online Assignments- Lock Screen
It would be amazing if we could lock down the screen/browser for online assignments. With all the AI out there, being able to lock it while students are accessing would be incredibly helpful!

NSOE - virtual signature block on the applicaiton
The NSOE application needs a virtual signature block and date option for districts to add on their NSOE application for the parent to enter when they are filling out the application. A virtual signature is now acceptable by the ISD auditors. Currently have to print the application and get the parent to sign it or create a custom form which isn't a professional look for an application for enrollment.
