Graduation Req Base Year column added to the Parent Entered Requests View
A column with the students' cohort year in the Parent Entered Requests view would be helpful when schools need to sort through the list. Especially, for large schools with a separate campus, for example, that only house 9th graders. The attendance secretary can sort by grad req base year to easily process the requests for 9th graders only.

Attendance Percentage in Family Access
Our district leadership would love the ability to view attendance percentage in Family Access. This would be extremely helpful to staff and families when trying to track attendance, truancy, etc.

Add ability to mass import/change the IBC Reimbursement flag (TX)
When the current or prior LEA submits for one of the two allowed IBC Reimbursements, TREx element TE132 (IBC-REIMBURSEMENT-INDICATOR) must be set prior to sending a TREx record.
IBC are beginning to become a huge push due to their CCMR (accountability) point earning potential, and as a result most districts have gone from a handful of students taking these exams to hundreds, if not thousands that are taking and earning these certifications. This results in weeks of work hand-coding all of these IBC-REIMBURSEMENT flags, as there is no mechanism to mass-add or mass-change the indicator.

Mass update early Middle College incoming freshman
Early Middle College incoming freshman coming to an EMC high School to update the incoming class instead of updating individually each freshman as early middle college. Currently each student has to be entered.

Utility to Mass update Developmental KG on Entry Withdrawal Screen
Several buildings have Y5 classes and a utility is needed to change the Developmental KG flag from Yes to No when students move from Y5 into Kindergarten. Currently this has to be done student by Student.

Notifying districts when Skyward is down.
Our district's skyward has been down sense around 11:00 AM this morning. We had to call around 11:30 AM to see what the issue was. Its now 3:41 PM and no updates or notifications have been sent out with the outage.

Ability to run Voc Ed hours and Daily Register for a single student
It would be super helpful to have the ability to run Voc Ed Hrs utility and Daily Register by student(s) so that, when making corrections to a student or just a few students, you would not have to run for the entire grade level or campus to update the student details to Ed-Fi - especially with the new ATND submissions every six weeks.

Allow for Building a Custom Schedule
We have the option to build Custom forms, Custom report cards, and Custom transcripts. It would be great if we had the same option for schedules. Right now we just have the hard coded schedule report, it would be great if we had the ability to change the layout/content/etc of the schedule just like we can in report cards and transcripts.

SMS 2.0 Base ADM Report by student in Excel Format
Base ADM Report by Student – exportable to Excel. At TDASC we were offered ideas on how to reconcile ADM to SOWRD on individual student basis. It seems that the other State SIS vendors already offer this report in Excel. The report should include the individual student [EdFi ID] and the individual student ADM per each reporting period. This Excel Export would be extremely beneficial to reconcile ADM to the State System. The exact same report is available now in SOWRD. I have attached the SOWRD headers.

Designated report for Family custom forms
As there is a designated report for Student custom forms, there needs to be one for Family custom forms.
Right now, there is only the ability to pull data for family custom forms via Data Mining.
Having a report that will allow schools to print all completed forms or more easily pull the data from those submitted forms.

Discipline Officer: Only Show Active Staff as an option when entering incidents
Please add the option to only show ACTIVE staff when you choose a Discipline Officer in the Discipline entry screen.
Currently it shows both Active and Inactive.
The only option Skyward gives us it to select the configuration option "Only allow Staff marked as Discipline Officer to be assigned to an Offense/Action" but that means you have to manually check this box individually for each staff under the Designations....Designations: Disc Officer: Yes Teacher: Yes Substitute: No Counselor: No5 votes -
NSOE application routing for cross-over grade level entities
Allow for grade level options to be added to the path type when creating address paths.
Currently, if two campuses have the same grade level options in the address path, the NSOE application gets kicked to the ISD instead of routing based on the Elementary path type.
Example: We have an elementary that serves EE-3 and one that serves EE-5. The EE-3 elementary applications do not route to them if the middle school address path is for the EE-5 campus because the system cannot differentiate between the grade levels on the path type.

More options for printing career plans
There are currently very few options for printing career plans. The student career plan report prints the description and not the curriculum key. We have made several changes for how we display our sped courses and have needed to update career plans for multiple students, however I only know who they are based on the curriculum - it's not one grade level/campus/endorsement/etc. Some extremely helpful options include:

Update Grad Req (FL) Replacing Online Learning with Test Requirements Met/Not Met
Request to remove Online Learning (met/not met) which is no longer a FL requirement. Replace on Grad Reqs with Testing Requirements (met/not met). Met if both Comm & Math are met, Not Met if one or both are not met.

Regarding when a studen
When a student switches sections, if the school is on an A/B schedule/rotation: Please change the parameters of the assignments so that the system does not use the date as one of the criteria for an assignment to match from one section to another. Thank you.

Minimize the font size on the transcript template to allow the course codes to print on one line
With the new requirements to include the service ID#s or Course Codes, the transcripts are looking messy and unprofessional because the course codes are printing on another line on the transcript. This is causing transcripts to be much longer than needed with the additional line for each course completed for every student. If we are allowed to minimize our font size ourselves without creating a custom transcript, that would be helpful. My hope is that Skyward will understand the need for this to be created or allowed to ensure their product looks professional and allow for updates that are required…
