Allow Texas Honor Roll to be run by activity
The Honor Roll report under Grading has an option to run by activity. We need one on the Texas Honor Roll report under Federal/State reporting. Texas Honor Roll is what Texas uses, but we can't run by activity like everyone else can.

Number students in post daily attendance screen
Just like in the gradebook, I would like to see the numbers counting the students on the post daily attendance screen as an additional way to verify how many students are on the roster.

ADA Entry Code: Rollover from Previous Year
Within the rollover end year process, include the option in the Year Start Utilities to rollover the previous year's ADA entry code into the new school year. This will eliminate having to change the entry code for our out-of-district student's ADA entry code from a 1 to a 3 each year.

Graduation Req Base Year column added to the Parent Entered Requests View
A column with the students' cohort year in the Parent Entered Requests view would be helpful when schools need to sort through the list. Especially, for large schools with a separate campus, for example, that only house 9th graders. The attendance secretary can sort by grad req base year to easily process the requests for 9th graders only.

Grade Change Request History Report
We would like to be able to run a report that shows what grade changes have been posted. Our teachers do grade change requests and then they are posted on the admin side but we would like to be able to run a report to keep record of how many requests are being made and by what teachers.

Option to extract teacher course shell in the survey when there is a vacant position with a sub
Currently, when a class in Skyward is assigned a vacancy, no teacher course record is generated in the survey extract. In many cases, these vacancies are being covered by substitute teachers; however, without an associated teacher record, districts may experience funding impacts due to the absence of a teacher assignment on the reported course.
To address this issue, districts currently rely on a manual workaround that requires creating substitute teacher course records for each vacant section in the Maintain. Registrars having access to complete the NEW Button
I think registrars should have the ability to enter closed grading period grades for new students when teachers do not complete the process using the “NEW” button.
This is something our teachers consistently struggle with, and it often results in incorrect or missing grades. Allowing registrars to handle this process would help ensure grades are entered correctly from the beginning.
Instead of relying on multiple teachers to complete the process correctly, having one or two designated staff members responsible for entering closed grading period grades would create more consistency, improve accuracy, and eliminate the need for so many corrections later…

automated emails
For automated emails, I would like to once again see the email address of the person initiating the change, instead of the do.not.reply email address (from project enhancement 6393482). Knowing who made the change allows users to go directly to that person in case of questions. Not everybody that receives the automated emails has access to a student's Change History tab to see who made the change.

Upload button for POR when parents request Student Info change
Add the feature for parents to upload a new proof of residency or an attachment from the screen where they are requesting the change in Family Access. We do not make the change without documentation so when we see it in approvals, we need to look up student and contact parent. The ability to add a free form message would be helpful as well or a pop up letting them know a new POR will be required.

Expected Levels of Performance
We would like to have all teachers use the color-coded expected levels of performance the same way and would like to push them out from the building level rather than having teachers create them for each and every class they have each year.

A COMPLETE Skyward End of Year/Start of Year checklist
A checklist needs to be created for the entire Student Management Year End/Start of Year process from beginning to end. It would walk you through all the modules available (ex. click here for Food Service Year End (IF your district uses this module)). Once Year End is done, if there are steps that need to be done for "Start of Year" those would then be listed. Add secondary guardian contact number to display in Student Profile
We would like to include both guardians' phone numbers in the student profile, as shown in the attached screenshot. This addition is essential for emergency situations, as individuals are currently unable to find the second guardian's phone number in the information panel. In an emergency, it is crucial that this information is easily accessible.

Add student / state / alphakey ids to the monthly/quarterly report
There are currently no student ids for the monthly/quarterly report. Any id would be a wonderful addition to be able to compare against state files for chronic attendance. Thank you!

Increase New Student Online Enrollment Clarification/Field Sizes
I am currently setting up New Student Online Enrollment for our school district and when I explain the process on the parent side to college educated people I have to repeatedly explain that the New Student Online Enrollment is in reality (for our school process, I understand this could be the only step for enrollment for new students) more like an application, which we verify, and then they would completed the Student Registration. I wish there were more characters under the General Application Options "Rename "New Student Online Enrollment" to: New Student Online Enrollment Application to help clarify this process…

Mass Update At Risk Field
Currently we can only mass add one record to our At Risk field. The state of KS has up to 12 options to check that qualifies a student for At Risk. Once we mass add a category ie ESOL if we get a list of another indicator later ie Migrant we can do a mass add, but it will only pull in those that aren't already marked. We then have to go in to each student and mark them individually. In our district we have several thousand ESOL, several thousand students who are marked under the Dyslexia screener and almost…

I wish there was more flexibility in Student Login field, found under Product Setup-Skyward Contact Access-Security-set/up-config-Automatically Generate Logins and Passwords-Students. I took inspiration from how Spreadsheets work and how you can manipulate it to stop generating text based off a space or a comma. The way Skyward has it for Part 1: the options are seemingly logic based, First Name, Middle Name, Birth Day, Month, Year, etc and limit the length by letters. Same applies for Part 2, 3, and 4 the Tiebreaker. With the current trend we are experiencing with naming conventions, especially from those from latin american backgrounds…

Health Condition Notes for Teachers
We can currently display the Health Condition itself through the student indicator. However, we are requesting the ability to optionally display the associated Health Condition Notes through a security-controlled setting. These notes often contain important directions or additional information regarding the student's health condition that teachers may need to know in order to appropriately support the student.

Mass update early Middle College incoming freshman
Early Middle College incoming freshman coming to an EMC high School to update the incoming class instead of updating individually each freshman as early middle college. Currently each student has to be entered.
