RFE for Guidance Note/Visit Attachement
We have had several requests for the ability to attach documents to a guidance note/visit just as can be done with other notes in the student profile. Currently there is no Attach button when adding a guidance note/visit. We don't even see a selection for Guidance in the drop-down list for All Notes. We think this would be a great addition to the program. having it all under the guidance tab would be ideal but at this point just having a place to attach a document would be great.

Editing alternate teacher transaction dates.
To improve the accuracy of PIMS StudentStaffSubtest template I would like to see your software allow for editing the teacher effective date ranges for alternate teachers. As it is now when adding an alternate meet to the course master the effective date defaults to the beginning of the school year. Unlike the primary meeet pattern alternate meets should not be required to have a teacher represented for an entire school year.
In talking this through with the Skyward Help Desk a proposed workaround is to create an alternate meet with no teacher name listed and with the instructional…22 votes -
Date Range needed
I need to be able to look at enrollment for several date ranges not just a snap shot day. This is causing hours of compiling data to find this information

Additional options when setting up conferences
Due to the amount of students some teachers see during a day when a teacher sets up their time slots they would like to have a why to notify the guardians that they are requesting a conference for selected students.
A setup similar to the check of selected list of students to be notified via message center.

Health Report and Medication notes
There is not an option on the All Health Report to print detailed notes. On the report we need the option to print the administration details of the med administration. Users should be able to print one All Health Report for open records requests including all information. Currently I would have to print an all health report and a medication report.

Teachers would access to additional filter views.
Teachers would like to be able to have access to additional filter view to set filters for viewing additional data.
Example: Set a filter to view a guardian e-mail field set filters for different buildings set a filter for attendance etc.

Family Access - Both parents to edit My Account
Both parents in a Family (not just the one listed first) should have the ability to change the "Low Grade" for the "Receive Grade Emails for my students". The second parent is able to make changes to attendance notifications progress reports and the food service balance.

Need to see report by rotation
By having the report print out by rotation Day 1 is Days 1-6 rotation Day 2 is Days 7-12 rotation. In order to check our attendance offenders we run the report by student and then have to manually go through each date for each student and see which rotation they were absent on. If they have 3 or more absences on a rotation they are not in compliance with attendance rules. We then lower the grade for the rotation they are not in compliance with. Lease Expiration Date Field/Pop-up
Need a Lease Expiration Date field that can be reported on data mined with ranges and checked as renewed.

Teachers need to see Obligations in Teacher Access
Campuses often need to identify students that have obligations through the office and they want to make sure that teachers are aware of these students in their classes. If some indicator or alert could display in Teacher Access that would provide that connection.
Our campuses often identify students that lose privileges for various reasons and they need an effective way to make this information available to the teachers.18 votes -
Need PMF of Security Group Assignment for Forms
Greetings. So I have Health Forms that require secure access for my district. I'm going through to set those 7 forms up now as Secure Forms. When you choose the Security Groups button you can utilize the Quick Filter to narrow your group search down to the groups you need. Convenient. But do you think there's a Select All button? Nada. You can UNSELECT ALL but there's no Select All. I will be clicking 749 boxes for the next 20 minutes. Please PMF this screen to match any others that should include a Select All option. Thank you!

The ability to look at ada by both race and ethnicity and 2 or more races. It is difficult to see what demographic needs to be looked at to help boost ada.

Remove VocEd Contact Hour on Transcript
Voc Ed Contact Hours are based on the service ID supplied by the state and coded in the Texas State Specific section in the course/course master. Due to certification and other restrictions we have some CATE courses that we are unable to get contact hours funding for. Many of these courses are taught online and the credit is directly added to the student's transcript. Rather than have to create new course keys for these online CATE courses can the option to "Exclude Voc Ed Contact Hours" be built into Override Course Information in the Add on the grade tab.

Add Prompt to Update Students Tied to Incident
When users attempt to edit an Offense Code for students tied to an Incident there is no option to change the code whether it's temporary or inaccurate. Skyward misleads the users by sending them to the Offense Code screen to select a different code. The program should allow for updating all students tied to the Incident when the Configuration setting to force students to have the same Offense code is engaged. Deselect all in the individual course selections
Instead of having to go back in and uncheck all boxes it would be beneficial when setting up certain course items to be able to deselect all courses and start over. Working in CTEERS right now and I am going in multiple times as I set up the state area. I won't have to going forward in CTEERS but I would think there are other times that this would be beneficial.

Educational milestones connected to Test Scores
Goal: entry of a Test Score that meets a specific criteria automatically triggers a 'complete' date on an Educational Milestone.
Wisconsin Civics Exam requires students to earn a minimum score as a requirement for graduation starting in 2017. We are entering it as a Test Score so it appears on transcripts along with ACT and other test scores but are also trying to include the status as an Educational Milestone so students and parents are aware that this is required. Right now when students complete the test I have to double enter.
