a way to pull rcdts codes for serving entitys
Please add a way to pull Illinois county district and district type codes for serving and home districts in skybuild. These would be used with the serving school code to provide a full RCDTS for each student. We currently can not export these needed fields to eStar to keep our local demographics up to date in their database.
Outcome should be we can build groups in the skybuild export to provide these numbers by student. We are able to do this with our default schools only.46 votes -
NSOE Application Submitted email to parent
NSOE has an automatic window that pops up once the parent has submitted the completed NSOE application. We can alter the text within that window and expect the parent to read it however it would be beneficial to have the system automatically send an email directly to the parent.
On the Automated Email Configuration setup screen it would be great to have a "Application Submitted to District" option that we can edit with reminder of next steps for parents to take i.e. contact the school registrar etc.

Add option to run Mass Change Lunch Codes by processing list
Would like the option to mass change lunch codes by processing list. (WS\ST\PS\UT\LC)
This would be very helpful for schools that are CEP/SSO and use a local socioeconomic form to determine economic disadvantage status. Processing list can be created from these forms to identify and code students that qualify as economic disadvantaged. These processing list could be used to mass change lunch codes.45 votes -
Add what vaccines are linked to prompt message
When adding a vaccination record to a student that has linked vaccines there is a message that appears asking a user if they'd like to add the date record to the linked vaccines. On this prompt the linked vaccines are not listed so you do not know where the date records will be added.

Ability to import Teacher PIC
At the beginning of each new year we deal with adding PIC's for teachers into Skyward. We have a spreadsheet that we build all the demographic information into their staff information but there is no way to include the PIC. This makes for double entry and increases the probability of error.
If we had the PIC as an import option we could do it all at once and eliminate the double entry and reduce the possibility for error.45 votes -
injury report comments do not print all comments
The accident injury report does not print all comments/notes. A user can add free form comments on the Body Injuries table for EACH body part added. When you select to print free form comments on the Accident/Injury report it only prints the Health Notes from the main body of the Injury entry.
Either add another printing option to include the Body Part comments OR connect all comment/notes with the current Print Free Form comments in additional printing ranges. This will assure a user can print a complete injury report with all notes/free form comment areas.would also need a data…

Family Access display option
In Family Access it would very beneficial for our parents/guardians have a setting that allows them to display just active and/or non graduated students. We have had requests from parents/guardians to remove foreign exchange students from their access to remove graduated students foster children etc. We know that there is a setting to only display active students however that is a district-wide setting. A setting within Family Access so that they can choose themselves would be great.

Add Home Lang Code from LEP/BIL/ESL Tab
Add home language code as a field that can be exported in skybuild. This field is located in student profile > Special Programs > LEP/Bil/ESL > Home Language Code. This is the field that is reported to TEA so we need to be consistent when exporting home language to other applications.

Add Dyslexia Service & Risk Field in Skybuild-Import
Can we import Dyslexia Service Record from outside of Skyward.
This is TX State Report Field and there is no way we can update this information. We have more than 2,000 students with this record and data is changed daily. We need something we can automate this process.
We are currently on Skyward SMS.

Notification of Assignments turned in Electronic
From Teacher : I'm wondering about students submitting late assignments through Skyward and if there is a way to get a notification when a student submits an assignment late. I'm finding that after I go through and grade assignments that have been uploaded I don't have a good way to know if a student submits something after that. So far the only option seems to be for me to keep checking the graded assignment to see if anything has been submitted recently. That takes a lot of checking. Health Records Vision and Hearing addition
This is our second year using your program. I noticed that when I use entry by home room for hearing and vision that what is required is not documented. I will begin by noting for you what needs documented then show you the nurse's proposal for modification of the entry by homeroom document.
All grades K-12 are required to have near and far vision screening and this documented. K+ or First grade are required to have Plus lens screening/Color vision screening and sterio depth perception screening completed and documented.Attached is our proposal for entry by homeroom for vision screening.

Add configuration feature in Health Records so that defaults can be Updated for health users for state-mandated screening entries (vision hearing scoliosis and physical); this would help assure fields are correctly completed for state reports (see Office Visits Configuration "Update Users Office Visit Defaults" WS\OF\HR\OV\PO\CF\OV)

CLONE CALENDAR UTILITIES
Our District has MANY calendars for both public & parochial entities. Each year calendars for all entities schools & calendars within each entity within each school need to be set up. That being said one question that I continue to have is the utility for "Clone Calendar Info in Same Year." What does this utility actually do? I have tried to set up 1 calendar in 1 entity with all the calendar detail entered & then ideally I would like to clone this calendar to all the other entities & calendars but only the very basic term dates get cloned…

Utility to inactivate staff
Managing staff and security accounts manually is a major task. I would like to request a utility that would inactivate users in Staff and set the Active Secured User field in Security to 'No' if they have not logged in within xx number of days. We would be able to select the number of days since last log in to inactivate.
Inactivating accounts for staff who've been out for a lengthy period of time. But the resolution would be easy since accounts are only being inactivated. We would turn those accounts back on manually.44 votes -
Automated Unrecorded Class Attendance/Bell Schedul
Requesting an enhancement for Unrecorded Class Attendance email generation to be linked to the Bell Schedule for the day. Example: We are on a half day bell schedule but the Unrecorded Class Attendance is sending emails based on our full day bell schedule.

View of Customer Payments applied to charges
The goal is to enable the Skyward user to easily determine to which charge(s) a customer's payment was applied ie. which payments paid what charges. Currently there is no quick way to determine on the customer's fee management screens which charges a payment was applied to in the customer's record. You have to drill down into each and every charge or payment to try to determine which paid what and other charges and payments that are irrelevant to the transaction appear which is very confusing.

NOSE Capture Digital Signature from Parent
We would like to add an additional step to NSOE that would allow the parent to digitally sign the application. Would also like for it to convert the application to a .PDF and add it under the Portfolio > Enrollment Attachments. This will give us a signed snapshot of the application of what it was when the parent submitted it.

Increase search capabililty to include "contains"
Speed the search for locating the student record when the name being given(i.e. Juarez)is the second part (i.e. Zavala-Juarez)of the last name in the database. This is a frequent occurrence. While there is little negative impact on the daily operation if the enhancement is not made it could prove otherwise during an emergency situation.
Being able to use wildcards (*) during the search would be fabulous but even being able to choose between 'begins' with and 'contains' would be great.43 votes -
Add Ability To Mass Fill Service Dist / School ID
To be able to mass fill the Tennessee Course Section Service District ID and Service School ID. As it is now: We must input this manually for every section which can be very very time consuming.
