Adding Health Tab to Skyward Mobile Access
We had a situation where a student had a medical emergency outside of the school building. Our nurse attempted to utilize the mobile skyward app to relay health conditions to the EMT's. The time it took to access the data through the desktop option on the app was extremely lengthy for an emergency situation. Having a heath tab on the mobile app would allow emergency personnel to assess patients quickly.

Ability to configure Hall Pass receipt info
Similar to the Tardy Pass it would be nice to alter wehat is included on the hall pass. We would like the alphakey and other id removed since this information is the basis of their network account. The hall pass as it is now can not be used. the ability to customize it same as tardy would solve this issue

Importing of Health Information
The ability to import Health information that are entered on Registration forms in InfoSnap to Skyward. Alerts and critical alerts denoted by parents. This would save time of having to re-enter things into Skyward that parents have entered in InfoSnap regarding Health related issues. Also if eliminate the need of campus personnel having to look at both systems. Alerts are critical and need to be VERY visible to staff at a moments notice.

Exporting Duplicates
When creating exports for online curriculum it has become a problem in some cases where I am unable to automate exports due to duplicate student data being pulled. I am aware there are systems that my export can filter through to remove duplicates from my student exports to then be automatically imported into online curriculum. I am asking for Skyward to have this capability to do this.

Entering events for specific studnts
We would like to have the option of selecting individual students or ranges of students when entering an event. Right now when entering an event the default is for the event to be applied to all students.
With standards based grading the teacher is often grading only one student or small groups of students. This would allow the flexibility for teachers to only enter the events for the students who were assessed.57 votes -
Add the ability to add FAMILY attachments
Add the ability to add attachments that are accessible to multiple students in the same family. Especially helpful for Online Enrollment but valuable to all districts even if they don't use NSOE.
So we don't have to go in and attach the same document individually to EACH student. ( gets time consuming with family's who have many children). AND it would be a place that could be looked at and know that the WHOLE family had the same information ( like proof of residency court docs for all the children etc.)

Hide all tabs in Family/Student access until the parent has completed online registration.
We understand this is currently an option for the scheduling tab however we need this for ALL TABS. When a parent logs in they should see nothing but online registration. When a student logs in it would only show them a message that their parent needs to complete online registration before they can see anything. There are 6 other tabs a student can look at to figure the schedule/teacher. We have them disabled however it is a campus setting so we cannot enable them only to parents who have completed online reg. So for example Endorsements, this would be a…

Family Access User Portal Available from District
Please make the Family Access User Portal available to select when in the District Entity. So many times as a district user I have to view Family Access users. I have to switch to any entity (even if it is not the one the parent is associated with) and then I can search for the Family Access User. It would make like so much easier if it was viewable through the district. Saving as a favorite does not work as soon as you click on the district entity that favorite is removed from the list.

Add Ability for Kiosk to Fill Missed Att. Periods
The intention of this request is to streamline the attendance entry process by enhancing the system to fill in attendance periods missed automatically. The goal is to enhance data quality and employee efficiency. The negative impact would be not utilizing the product or increased employee efforts to ensure data quality if component is used.
Ideally setup would be available for system to automatically fill in attendance periods missed prior to arrival or after student signs out. We would like for this component to be used for early dismissals and late arrivals.56 votes -
Report Building Clone
It would be great if you could build a report in one entity and then clone it into another one without building the report in each entity.

Future withdraw
It would be most helpful if we could enter a future withdraw date for a student, make all of the selections/choices that are presented (like current/next year status changes, schedule drops, etc.), then have a process trigger the withdraw in the evening of the withdraw date.
Currently, we cannot properly complete a future withdraw because there are handy options that are available during the withdraw process.

Additional Bus Stops Needed
Currently the Bus Stop area in Busing can only hold 4 routes. We have some students with up to 6 routes. Our parents view busing in Family Access and aren't always getting all the information they need.
Please consider adding the capability to add up to 8 bus stops per student in the busing area.55 votes -
Lunch Calendar characters
Currently we want to move to using the Lunch menu in Skyward but cannot because the calendar view does not support enough characters for us display the entire lunch so it can be viewed with clicking on it and printed
Add more characters to the lunch calendar in the web access for Parents to view the menu. Make the menu printable so parents can view the lunches for the entire month.54 votes -
Dual Enrollment Warning for Inactive Record
If Dual Enrollment settings only apply to Active student enrollment records then we need another popup that will warn customer that the student about to be enrolled has an existing enrollment in the future.

Display Idaho State ID's in Family/Student Access
Would it be possible to have the option to display Idaho state EDUIDs in Family/Guardian Access? We have a request from counselors that students applying for certain things need their state ID's.

Create Option to Not Create Letters If Emailed
Attendance Letters are currently generated for all students who meet the criteria. Parents of those students may have email addresses and can receive attendance emails. At this time there is no way to not generate letters for students whose parents will already get attendance emails and those letters must be manually pulled from the batch that was generated. It would be nice to be able to flag a student whose parents will receive emails to not generate an attendance letter.

allow term adjustments to be calculated into final
We often use grade adjustments within term grade posting based on attendance and other expectations. It is rare that our teachers use the weighted grade option as that is very difficult to have a balance of equal points between grading terms. As I understand that is the only option to have the grade adjustments be calculated into the FG. (By the way we have semester/term grading). If a teacher makes (ex) a grade increase because a student was close to an A- that positivity should be then reflected in the students final grade. That is not currently the case. A…

SAML Relying Party Configuration
I am requesting that Skyward configure SAML for Districts that have an IDP. Minnetonka has it's own IDP - we use Identity Automation. I'd like to be able to use our SSO service to log all users into Skyward by way of a SAML integration with Skyward.
I am willing to help do the testing to get this up and running. I know there are other users that use Identity Automation for an IDP and could also benefit from this type of configuration.52 votes -
PreID not pulling accommodations
Our district enters ESE accommodations into the Local Accommodations box in Skyward; but these aren't recognized during the PreID process. See attachment for screenshots of student accommodation location. Can Skyward's PreID script look for accommodations from the Local Accommodations box to assign the Y/N for this field? And if that is not possible can the PreID script automatically assign a "Y" for accommodations if a Primary Exceptionality is identified?

Add NEW Address and Phone Field to Check Out Form
We would like to see a section on the Check Out Form to add the student's NEW Address and Phone once they leave our district. The report currently being used is in the E/W Tab - Quick Print. Please see attached. The first page is the Skyward form and the second page is our old ProSoft SIS form which worked very well. The secretary is now handwriting the new info which is negative. And honestly our old form was a much cleaner form.
