Track changes for Secured Users
It would be nice to add the option of tracking changes that are made to a users security.

Address Direction - Option to print after street address
The local post office has asked that we move the direction field from before the street address to after the street address. Example: 625 NW Birch St should be 625 Birch St NW. Changing every street name in our address master would take a lot of work, but allowing us to print the direction after the street address would solve the problem. We have had a lot of mail returned because of this, requiring us to hand write the address and resend.

hide a class from a students schedule and Family Access
It would be helpful to be able to hide a specific course from displaying on a students schedule or family access. We have resource "courses" that serve as a caseload and we do not want it to be view-able on the students schedule since it is not technically a class. We sync with Clever and can not use activities to sync those caseloads, so we put them in as courses.

Ability to compare the value of two fields in the And/Or Filter
There are times when comparing the values of two similar fields would really come in handy. It would eliminate some of the additional clean-up and filtering in Excel afterwards.

Texas - CCMR module/tab needed
Texas has added CCMR (College/Career/Military Readiness) as a criteria for our state accountability ratings. We need a CCMR module as well as a tab on the student profile that shows where each student is in meeting the state standard. Counselors use this information to help make better decisions about whether students can have off periods, whether to route them to special classes for College Prep Math or Reading, etc. The components used for CCMR all exist in Skyward - course history, PEIMS coding for industry certifications, military enlistment, and grad plan type, and test scores for ACT, SAT, AP, and…

Mask Staff / Student SSN
We would like for all SSN to be masked on reports. This would be staff and student SSN. We can prevent staff SSN from being viewed based on the level of security. However, the SSN will still show on reports. We would like for the number to not show (like confidential phone numbers) or at least only show the last four digits.

Custom Forms option to post specific to Entity
It would be very helpful and improve efficiency if we could specify a custom form to show up in an individual entity, multiple entities, or the entire district. We have many CFs that are specific to the individual entity, and the list gets very long, and often repetitive when we have similar (but not identical) forms.

Requesting the ability to setup an automated email when a food service application is submitted by a parent in Family Access.

Civil Rights Report
Make the printed report from the extract area in Civil Rights be like the maintain area. In maintain you see the totals and details of each category together. In the printed report you have to look for the details to go with the totals. Not logical at all!!!

Local Race
Get rid of Local Race all together (Profile > General Information). This is causing lots of confusion on campuses as to which one to use. We are not updating Local Race. In the process, Skyward needs to change the Auto Scheduler programming to use Federal Race instead of Local Race. As far as I know, that's the only program that is still using local race. Also, since this is "federal", this should affect all states, not just Texas.

Percent of Class Attendance Report Add Other ID
We are using this report to track students who are in need of making up hours to be in compliance for the 90% attendance rule in Texas. The other id would allow us to be sure that the correct student is being addressed. Also the ability to export the data in a spreadsheet format without having to convert the data from a .pdf would allow us to set it up on the job queue Other ID on report Export ability to .csv without converting it after it is run In Report area instead of a utility would be helpful.

Under Student we have the change history button could you add the Special education addition/changes to that field also so we can see who is changing the information?

Language Translation
Currently there is only an area for Spanish translation of report cards and discipline. It would be helpful if there were many different columns (perhaps a dropdown list) that we could designate for different language translations. (ex French, Chinese, etc)

Add Current Year Balance Due field available in data mining
We are a corporation where previous year balances are rolled over from year to year via the Cash Basis w/ Fee Detail option during the year end process and we would LOVE to have a field in data mining that displays only Current Year balance due.
When we send families to collections, it has to be on current year balances and not having a field that serves this purpose within data mining makes life much more difficult when providing this information to debt collectors.

SKylert Export
We would like to use "Other ID" instead of the "Internal ID" for the Skylert export file - this would make notification much easier through School Messenger. Most student browse screens have the Other ID included which may be exported to Excel to create the .csv list that can ultimately be used for notifications in School Messenger. We have also had student internal IDs match staff employee IDs which cause staff to get phone calls for students.

Request the option to be able to enter in County and City codes into a list and set a default to use per entity.

Add Lice Screening to Entry By Homeroom
Please add a Health Test of "Lice Screening" to be able to be entered by Homeroom (and Class?) It would save countless hours for nurses input of this screen for lice.

Student Cell Phone in Online Registration
When the student's third phone field is shown under Student Information in Online Registration, the family just sees a drop-down that has a default value of blank, an empty field and then Ext with a field next to it. The drop-down is shaded the same color as fields that are read-only. Can there be an option to set the default value of the drop-down or at least have a description that is next to that drop-down so families don't just glance at these blank fields and think there is nothing to enter there?

Other ID field on all reports
It is frustrating and time consuming to run a report to compare data only to find that one report used alphakey and the other used Other ID. Other ID should be standard on every report run - many schools use this as their student ID and NOT the alphakey. Alphakey could also be standard, they could both the there; we use Other ID but bottom line, one field needs to be consistent across ALL Skyward reports so we can do data comparison more efficiently. I should not have to keep a data mining report strictly to convert alphakeys to other…
