Add Utility to Mass Add Entry Withdrawal Records
Students change grade levels throughout the school year at many at-risk campuses. Currently the process for entering a status change must be done on an individual student level. Adding a utility to withdraw as a status change and create a new entry from a processing list (or selecting individual students) would streamline this process.
The ability to complete a status change withdrawal and new entry record for all grade level advancements during the school year.

Change the 'Add a Fee' text
We would like to change the 'Add a Fee' tab to something like 'Optional Fees' or 'Manage Optional Fees' for parents to know where they have to go to add optional fee.
'Add a Fee' does not identify clearly enough that parents need to click to add/remove fees. Specially does not say anything 'Delete' the fees. This is very confusing so we are having a hard time to guide parents to pay fees. This small change will make huge difference to all districts with fees management modules because parents will fine the tab to add/delete easily to manage any type…

Need capability to copy template from year to year
Under the Mass Change Course Master Fields I use the Course Range option of Individual Course Selection to make Texas specific changes. For instance all my courses that are the first part of a two semester course are assigned a course sequence code of 1. The courses that are the second part of a two semester course are assigned a course sequence of 2. And the courses that are single semester only have a course sequence code of 0. I also do this with population served for certain courses among other changes.

Rewrite Test Scores on Custom Transcripts
The Test Scores object on Custom Transcripts is a bit of a train wreck. Essentially you get a combination of a hand-made layout combined with the bulky poorly laid out Test Scores Report onto a single document...the snapshot of the attached transcript layout and then generated PDF was actually 9 pages long. There simply has to be a cleaner more professional way to pull Test Scores data. If it means redoing the report too we're all for it. Add Edit Scores Option to Test Scores Tab
Attached is a small tutorial with screen shots outlining an option I'd like to see added to the Test Scores tab. If you work with test scores you know that the import option is best. However if you're using demographic information to load or if you have a number of kids that cannot be imported you have to find some sort of assembly line method to make it work to be efficient. Fee Management enhancement(?)
My understanding is that this is because we bill by family and not student. We prefer to have parents pay activity fees via eFunds. If a parent pays 3 seasons of sports fees via eFunds prior to assigning the fees in FM eFunds then automatically assigns and pays the fee and then at a later time when we run the mass assign fee Utility the paid fees aren't recognized another (duplicate) fee is created and they now have unpaid fees. Customer's need the Keep Attendance field from the Course Master added as a field available to export in Skybuild. This is a requirement for the Illuminate DnA export which is used widely throughout MI.

Add Student Email and Special Ed Active Fields
Add student student school email and special education active fields as options under Skyward Fields to Use. Currently these 2 fields are not available to use in custom student forms yet 504 active and guardian email are. My district has needed the student email and special ed active fields for 3 different custom forms.

Fee Management Receipt Functionality
We are getting multiple emails and calls from our Child Care parents that are trying to print statements from Family Access / Fee Management. These parents are having a hard time with their employer as the receipts do not show the service dates that a specific payment covers. The receipt shows the date a specific payment was made but does not show the date range the payment covers. The end result is that parents are being denied reimbursement from their employer as the receipt does not show this information. For some parents this creates a financial issue.

Name fields on Grading & Attendance Analysis Repor
Currently the only option for this report is to pull the student's full name. It would be beneficial to have the student's name fields broken down by first name and last name.
This report has the option to export directly into Excel. By pulling the name into separate fields campus administrators will be able to filter and search more easily.27 votes -
TX: Update Tracking report to include timestamps
Texas reporting requirements include being able to report the date and time attendance data changes are made. We currently only offer timestamp data on a screen without the ability to create a report from it. This project is to update the Transaction Tracking report to include timestamps as well as date.

Absence Occurrence Report
We would like to have total columns add to the Absence Occurrence Report so that it may total AUE's by the way we do our schedule. We have a 12 day rotation schedule Day1 is 1-6 and Day 2 is 7-12. I have attached some print screens so that you may understand what I am talking about. Please let me know it this would be possible. We have made a request like this in the past when we first acquired the software but nothing ever came of it. Thank you for your time.

Teachers knowing/printing IHPs for their students
The goal of this enhancement is for teachers to be able to run a report that identifies students in their classes (My Students) who have an active IHP for the current school year and prints those IHPs. This would also be equally beneficial for Activity Advisors via Advisor Access in EA+. A similar report is available in Student Management but when a teacher runs this report there is no good way to get just their own students - It would probably have to reside in EA+ for it to filter to just the students they have in classes.

Different background color for new year
The goal is to have a visual reminder when we are working in new year scheduling (instead of current year). There have been times we have inadvertently changed something in current year when we thought we were in new year. Have a different color background would prevent that.

Ability to delete more than one line at a time
When a person needs to edit the Maintain area before finalizing it would be helpful to be able to choose multiple lines to delete. When deleting several lines from the Maintain area you have to choose one at a time. This process can be very time consuming.
When deleting multiple lines by student or sorted by teacher the time saved by allowing the deletion of more then one at a time would be substantial. Currently I have to set my View as high as it will go to see the majority of classes for a specific teacher. When having your…

"Password of the Day" for Fix Programs hurts productivity
Skyward has implemented a "password of the day" for whenever anyone needs to use the Fee Fix program. Each day we need to use it, we need to reach out to Skyward via a service call and wait for their response. This hinders productivity as the response can take several hours to arrive. It also places unnecessary workload and stress on the Skyward customer service representatives. Ideally, there should be a way to automatically distribute this password to specific users (ones with system-wide access, perhaps?) who can divulge it to their coworkers as needed.

Average Daily Attendance Report
A report that our administration offices would find useful and beneficial is to be able to run an attendance report that could show the average daily attendance by date - specifically a report that could be run to show the following information:
Daily Absence Total
Daily Absence Percentage
Daily Membership - Enrollment Total for the day
Average Daily Attendance (ADA)
Average Daily Membership (ADM)Ranges to run by Grade Level and by Building and possibly homeroom

attendance letter clone
In the attendance letter setup - it would be great to have a clone button. Many attendance letters that get scheduled get scheduled either multiple times (each semester or quarter) or for different thresholds (5, 10, 15, etc).
Knowing it is setup correctly and just needing to change the name, threshold or timeframe would make this area much more friendly to use. Lisa

Make Default Entity match Cafeteria
It would be helpful if the students default entity could match their cafeteria. with a school district of 6500 students, every time a student moves from one school to another, their cafeteria has to be manually changed. This is impossible to keep track of.
