Medication inventory read quanity
Want the inventory section of the medication profile to read quantity not milligrams as not all medications come in MG... We count per pill not by milligrams. or have a drop down for mL for liquid meds and pills for pill form medications.
clarification: in the medical field when we do inventory counts we count the number of tablets not the number of milligrams or puffs (inhalers). Option to Clone Variable Scales
We need an option to clone variables scales in the secondary gradebook from entity to entity and include it as part of the year end utilities to clone from year to year.
We have 20 campuses and we have to define the percent high and low values from 1 to 100! That's 2000 we will have to enter annually when we should be able to clone them after the first 100.

Limit the screen to only so many records
Right now in Office Visits it is displaying all years including historical visits on one page. For those students who see the nurse 3 times a day it takes forever to load the page.
By limiting the number of viewable records on one screen and then allowing the user to page to the next 'x' number of records it would allow the pages to load quicker.22 votes -
Increase Email Recipients on Exports
The Email Results To field is limited to 200 characters. If the number of users who you would like to email the results to exceeds this number you would have to create the second export. ** If the field is extended(like this box of 911) there would be no need to run a second export to send to email recipients that did not fit on the first run because of the 200 character rule.

Enable export of students with PA ID
W
hen students change key items in Skyward name birthdate sex you must upload the students to the PIMS PA Secure ID web site with the changes. Now to accomplish this you need to key in all this information which can lead to mistakes. If you have a large number of students (which on occasion we do) this becomes time consuming when you have to 'assign' the ID on the PA side and resolve miss matches. I've included a screen show of the information

Need to be able to export E/W Calendar data
We use multiple Calendars within an entity and we need to export the Calendar Code that is associated with that specific E/W record. Right now the only option for Calendar Code is the one that is tied to the Current E/W record. That means that if a student does a Status Change and moves from one Calendar to another within the same entity the previous Calendar Code cannot be exported.
The other systems receiving this data cannot function correctly because the data coming out of Skyward is not correct at this time. Simply adding this field to the available fields…58 votes -
NEED TO ADD A REGISTERED TRADEMARK SYMBOL
Our district offers many AP courses and we are required to have the trademark symbol after the letters AP on any of our course descriptions in the catalog transcript report card or any report. Skyward does not allow us to enter the symbol and converts it to (R). I just want to make sure that we document that we have tried to comply with the request made and that if any legal actions are taken that it is not held against the district because of the inability to accomplish this in Skyward. Import stu photos to custom forms/adv cust forms
While setting up Online Registration for the first time we discovered that we cannot import student photos into a custom form or advanced custom form. We like to have student pictures on the emergency cards when we print them out for office use.

Import for Grad Reqs
Would like a Skybuild import to enter ACT tests for reimbursement. The state has templates you can use to import the data to their site but they are so awful they are unusable. When nearly every junior take this test it's a chore to hand enter each record each year.
Note: Want a skybuild import to import from ACT file to create records in Student/Special Prgms/Grad Req. These records can then be exported using the SERVS/Grad Req extract.47 votes -
translated forms
It would be extremely beneficial to our district and I'm sure others as well to have the DPI translated special education forms uploaded into the forms templates. As it is now I have to clone the English version of the form then either cut and paste from the DPI Word document or type it in myself. This is not difficult but is quite time consuming. If we had 1 person doing this then all other districts would just need to upload the form.

Reporting on "No Count" Assignments
Request from teacher: Teachers often want to monitor work completion participation rates time spent pleasure reading etc... but they do not want these "behaviors" counted as part of the academic grade. Luckily Skyward allows teachers to enter these categories into their gradebook and mark them as "no count" so parents can access the information at the same time leaving the academic grade untouched. However teachers often need to calculate averages for these behaviors. It makes it easier at report card time to say "Your child met their pleasure reading goal 67% of the time."

Request for mobile app: Lunch menu area - we would like to have the mobile app have a clickable link so that the lunch calendar link URL will take patrons to the lunch menu calendar. We would be able to provide a link to our pdf lunch menu through the mobile app.

Add Variable Date option on attendance reports
The goal of this update would allow campuses to set these reports as scheduled tasks therefore saving time so that personal can concentrate on other attendance This would allow attendance clerks to concentrate more on other aspects of attendance instead of running these reports and providing them to individual teachers each week.

Custom report card migration of subjects/skills/co
Every year while updating custom report cards it is a manual process to clone them to a new year. The cloning process does NOT recognize cloning the subjects/skills/comments from year to year. It asks to chose again for the current year. This is an overwhelming amount of work as total changes can be over 30 areas per report card/term/grade.
Asking that when cloning the school year in custom report card that it will duplicate the prior year report card in total - no edits required.40 votes -
Add security to disable Teacher Scorecard
I have turned on the Teacher Scorecard feature. I have also enabled the Class Information link for office staff to view class rosters when clicking the Class Information Link from the Student Profile > Current Scheduling tab. I have only given permission to view the Class Roster. However the Teacher Scorecard displays as well which I don't want them to view. Security allows you to control many options of the Class Summary: Gradebook Lesson Scheduler Class Summary and Curriculum Map but not the Teacher Scorecard. Family Access User Portal Available from District
Please make the Family Access User Portal available to select when in the District Entity. So many times as a district user I have to view Family Access users. I have to switch to any entity (even if it is not the one the parent is associated with) and then I can search for the Family Access User. It would make like so much easier if it was viewable through the district. Saving as a favorite does not work as soon as you click on the district entity that favorite is removed from the list.
