Add Option for Custom Forms in Family Access
Family Access needs a Custom Forms option. More and more districts utilize custom forms to store information create Online Forms and use forms during registration and new enrollment. Once submitted or completed parents don't get to see that information. An option should be created so that a secure option can show the form in Family Access under a Custom Forms tab which should also include a Configuration option to rename the tab if the district prefers to call it something other than 'Custom Forms.' Add to EAPlus Student Hearing and Vision Test Info
Teachers would like to have available to them the Hearing and Vision Test Results for their students within the Teacher Access login. Parents can see a student's health information at their Family Access Portal teachers do not. Teachers need quick access to Hearing and Vision Tests for evaluation purposes with regard to IEPs RTI or other. They prefer to not bother the Office Staff for the information and the convenience to have it for a quick look up is invaluable. Positive Attendance Enhancements
Just started using PA in our district for some little things and have been thinking of ways to make it better.
Have teachers be able to see a student's PA check in location in their grade book for their class period(s). This would be useful for cases where a student is absent from class it would be good to know if the student went to an approved location for that teachers class or not.

Bus number drop-down box
Create a drop-down box of district bus numbers instead of this data being hand entered. This issue is resulting in errors to occur in data which is then creating funding issues from the state on transportation dollars. It would be very helpful to have this drop-down box to eliminate the errors in this part of the program.

Add homeroom teacher e-mail address
I would like to see the homeroom teacher e-mail address be added to the available filed list in Skybuild under the entity area. If we want to do something similar now it requires to utilize the full student schedule in skybuild and requires extra filtering.
This would simplify exports for systems that only require a single teacher's email address per student and can not accept the full student's schedule.29 votes -
On line Registration - Completion Status
Our district nurses would like to know if there is a way to flag the On-Line Registration for when guardians complete the process but then actually go back in and make additional changes - especially to health records but this would be helpful as well for all staff so that they are aware that additional changes have been made. Staff - Allow import of all fields
The Staff screen has a lot of content. You all have the ability to send the screen to a csv file. There should be an opinion to input all the data the export provides. For example teacher certification ID. I.E. SC:3789852 Makes life easier during a first year transition as we are missing a lot of data and were told we can't provide an export again to have it uploaded.

Family 1 can allow Family 2 to do registration
Would like to see an option for Family 1 to check a box that will allow Family 2 to do registration We have close to one quarter of our population where there are two families. We have a battle raging each year on who is allowed to do what for their children. Sometimes families do not mind sharing responsibilities; however some do not want to share responsibilities. Email Progress Reports
In the standards gradebook teachers do not have an option to Select Different Classes when using the Email Detailed Progress Reports under reports. Teachers have to go through the process over and over for every class they teach. However in the secondary gradebook teachers do have the option to Select Different Classes. They can go through the process once and email all parents from all classes. I would like for you to consider adding that option to the Standards gradebook to save teachers time.

Get rid of the Complete this step button
During annual registration there is a button that requires them to click complete before they click next. It would be best if they got rid of the next and assumed complete if next is clicked.
Many users miss the button and cannot complete this form and need to be assisted.
If the complete button disapeared to the next button was labeled "mark complete and continue" then functionality on the backend would be similar.126 votes -
Adding Test Accommodations to all Tests
To have an option when entering in a student's test accommodation to apply the accommodation to all tests. Currently our staff has to create an accommodation for each test the student has to take. We have found that if a student needs an accommodation for one test than usually that student needs that same accommodation for other tests as well. Having an option when creating an accommodation to Apply to all tests would provide our staff with significant time savings.A check box for when creating a accommodation that can be applied to all tests.

Add configuration feature in Health Records so that defaults can be Updated for health users for state-mandated screening entries (vision hearing scoliosis and physical); this would help assure fields are correctly completed for state reports (see Office Visits Configuration "Update Users Office Visit Defaults" WS\OF\HR\OV\PO\CF\OV)

Add column with name of submitting person
We would like to have the name of the person who actually submitted the FS application added to the Pseudo Applications screen. As it stands now anyone in the family can submit the FS application but when you go to find the application you have to know the primary guardian name of the family - that is the name that appears. When our auditors come I have to give them a cheat sheet that has student names names of primary guardians and also names of the other guardians in the family so they can find the applications they are looking…

API to dynamically provision staff users
We would like an API that would allow us to create new staff and security users on the fly based on when an employee is hired. The data would come from an external system. Would also like the ability to provision with basic rights into a security group.

online registration and parent order
At this time only the 1st parent in the 1st family can do all of the updates. We normally put the dad in first and the mom in second but then mom who does all of the registration does not have access to all of the updates. I guarantee if we flip it to always mom we will have a dad that does all of the updates. because of this we spend a lot of time in the summer popping in to a family and changing the order if they bother to call us. Add Student Schedule to the Attendance Tab Page
When you go to a student's portfolio Attendance tab and click Add to take attendance for a student it would be extremely helpful to have the student's schedule appear at the bottom of this window/page and/or have the course descriptions under each period. (For example O1 - English 9) Without the course names on the Attendance Tab page users need to open a new window pull up the student's schedule and take attendance with both pages side-by-side. Add what vaccines are linked to prompt message
When adding a vaccination record to a student that has linked vaccines there is a message that appears asking a user if they'd like to add the date record to the linked vaccines. On this prompt the linked vaccines are not listed so you do not know where the date records will be added.

Seperate Security for Emergency Info and Contacts
The goal of our request is to allow Campus Nurse staff to edit Critical Alert/Emergency information and to not allow them to change Emergency Contacts.
We have been directed to only allow the registration staff role to edit profile address and contact information. We need to limit the ability to change emergency contacts. At this time Nurses are not allowed to edit this area however they are responsible for the Emergency Info.

Add report to track number of families using FA
My district is trying to determine an approximate percentage of families/guardians who utilize Family Access for each entity and in a given time frame. I can run a Login History report but that doesn't give me a count or a comparison to the total number of users for calculating a percent. Please provide a report or data mining utility that will calculate a percentage or will allow a data mining export so we can calculate Family Access Usage based on our own criteria.
