Positive Attendance
We use Positive Attendance for students to check in to Student Services or the Health Center. This creates an attendance record so the teacher knows where they are. It would be great if these students could also "check out" when they are leaving that location so we can track where they are.

Add Current Year Balance Due field available in data mining
We are a corporation where previous year balances are rolled over from year to year via the Cash Basis w/ Fee Detail option during the year end process and we would LOVE to have a field in data mining that displays only Current Year balance due.
When we send families to collections, it has to be on current year balances and not having a field that serves this purpose within data mining makes life much more difficult when providing this information to debt collectors.

End date for all programs
When a student is withdrawn from the school/district it would be great if that date would automatically be the end date for all programs the student is in--GT, ESL, Special Ed, etc.

Student ID cards via use of the Skyward Mobile App
We utilize printed/physical student ID cards with the student's Other ID as a barcode on the back and Alphakey as a barcode on the front for such processes as navigating through the lunch line, checking in/out library items, and scanning in at the office for those who are late or leave early. There are those who lose, forget, or cannot find their cards so we are constantly reprinting or ordering replacement cards. automatic emails home language
When parents complete the Home Language Survey as part of Enrollment or Online Registration, it would be wonderful if an automatic email could be generated when the 'HLS Result' is set to 'Screen'. This could alert to correct staff members to follow-up more quickly with the family and student when needed.

Gifted added to Mass Add End Local Programs
We REALLY need the Gifted Records to be an option in the Mass Add/End Special/Local Programs area! As far as I can tell the records have to be added each year. When pulling AD only current year records (open or closed) will pull. Any previous years records (even when left open) will NOT pull. The importance of keeping year to year records can be understood as grant funding is involved and we don't want open records that aren't really in the program any more to pull and report to DOE. Add Discipline/Attendance Graphs in Skyport
We would like the ability to create widgets using both Discipline and Attendance graphs within Skyport. Configuring these two areas to function just like Test Score Analysis where there is a Skyport Settings button within the report would be ideal.
The addition of these features would give us a more robust data dashboard via widgets whereas right now, we are limited to test score analysis.

Our nurses would like to get an alert or an email if a parent checks a box stating any health issues on our custom form. Is this something that can be done.

Staff Locator Should Include the Course Code as well as a Link to View the Class Roster
Would like to see the course code and section number under Student/Staff Locator (currently it only shows the section number) and be able to click on the section to view the class roster. This would be great for people who only know the teacher's name or don't have access to the Course or Section Masters.

Add 'In Time' to Entry by Date Screen
We use the Entry by Date screen to monitor our attendance throughout the day. We also use the Tardy Kiosk. We are constantly opening student entries (Edit) to view their In Time. Adding the In Time would really improve efficiency of this browse.

auto emails for seclusion/restraint status
I'd like seclusion and restraint status to be built into the auto email system. Reporting has become much more comprehensive, and we see merit in being able to set up an auto alert that could be sent to key stakeholders anytime a building level discipline officer entered any seclusion/restraint data.

Entity Counts
Would like to get sub groups under Entity Counts of Student Types and ADM Types. Right now it counts all enrolled students but we look for quick prelimiary entity counts during open Membership reporting and open Pupil Enrollment reporting. These numbers are the difference between sitting in our seats and our Corp of Legal Settlement students no matter where they attend...Student Type and ADM Type sub groups would indicate the differences. The Entity Counts section is exactly the way we want to get quick preliminary numbers for these, usually twice a week during reporting.

Discipline Action Details
When entering multiple discipline action dates for the same student it would be extremely helpful if when entering different incidents with different actions a pop-up warning would alert the user entering the action that the dates over-lap with a previously entered incident/action entry. We often have several incidents entered that happen on different days with different actions but it is easy to get the dates mixed and over-lapped when the incidents are consecutive data order. A pop-up warning when entering actions dates alerting user that action dates already existing for this day would be extremely helpful in creating accurate discipline…

Family Access Responses show Student Name/Family ID Number
When parents use Family Access to ask a question or update a student, the response should show the Student Name or at least the Family ID #. Right now it just shows the email address of the guardian, which causes us to search all the buildings for the correct student.

Add a section to Custom Transcripts where you can display the detail of the Post-Secondary information for Dual Credits.
