Positive Attendance Enhancements
Just started using PA in our district for some little things and have been thinking of ways to make it better.
Have teachers be able to see a student's PA check in location in their grade book for their class period(s). This would be useful for cases where a student is absent from class it would be good to know if the student went to an approved location for that teachers class or not.
Have student self check in for nurse/office visits also update PA when they check in. Right now unless the secretary is watching the queue and updating the students attendance a teacher will not know where the student is.
Add a feature to the room roster view in EA+ for teachers to see who is checked in to the room across periods or allow them to easily switch between periods.
Add a feature similar the tardy kiosk pass printing for check-outs or the teacher view to give student's a pass when leaving specific locations. This would almost let the PA room view function as a queue for any location like office visits.
