Maintain File Date Stamp
I would like to recommend a way to know when your maintain file was extracted last and who the user was. This assists in knowing where you are in the process when multiple people might be working the file as well as time/date stamp is also helpful to know for the purpose of determining the accuracy of the data.

Grade Level Visible When Posting Grades
Our school posts grades for seniors days before posting for the rest of the school. While you can change the display options in the gradebook to see a student's grade level, once you go in to post grades, the grade level is no longer visible. It would be great if it would carry over so then teachers would know which students are seniors and who they have to post grades for.

In the online registration set up I would like to be able to add multiple Custom forms under 1 step.
I would like to be able to add multiple custom forms under one step of online registration. Perhaps Athletics and have 5 forms a,b,c,d,e instead of adding 5 steps to fill out 5 athletic custom forms. Same as the verify student information tab.

Create Utility to Mass Add/Update Bill Codes
Create a Utility to Mass Add or Update Bill Codes. Example: Our equipment damages accounts changed, so we have to manually update each Bill Code for each piece of IT equipment. Don't want to have to update every Bill Code with the same data. Instead be able to upload a file with the data to update or with all data to Add new codes.

Custom Forms
Hello: When creating fields for custom forms, it would be extremely helpful if there could be a warning or a pop-up stating that the data you have entered for this field has exceeded the Max Allowed Characters so that it could be corrected right away. What happens is that we don't know that the Max Characters have been exceeded until the form is active in FA or SA and we get hundreds of phone calls telling us that they couldn't complete the form because Max Characters have been exceeded.

Request Courses - Remove a "Selected Course" from the "Available Courses" column
Once a course has been selected in the "Course Requests" for future scheduling please remove it from the "Available Courses". It causes confusion for some as they think there is a bug in the system and creates support calls. Logically, your "Selected Courses" should no longer be "Available Courses".

Student State ID option on Student Reports
Please include the option (checkbox?) of printing the State ID number on any student report, especially the Student Information report as this is the only unique reference recognized by Illinois.
Also many of the state student records compliance documents require the IL State ID. Would be very helpful to not manually handwrite or mail merge a sticker onto the report.

It'd be nice to have the student status tied to the E/W records. T
Sometimes we have are made aware that a student will be withdrawing in a few days or a week, and we'd like to enter that withdraw record with the future date as we find out about it, but still allow the student to be active until that date hits. Same with enter dates. Sometime they don't start for a week or two but it'd be nice to push through the enrollment and have that student go active on the future date.

Determining Official Electronic Signature
Our state food service department requires that we be able to show that applications were correctly determined, the date of the determination and the signature of the determining official. It would be very convenient if this were available in Skyward so we would not have to print out each application. In a district of almost 8000 students that's a lot of applications!

NSOE - NY Enrollment Enable FA
Hello:
It would be extremely helpful if, after an NSOE application has been approved for NY (next school year) that the Family Access Account could also become active for that student prior to the year-end roll over. Guardians who apply via NSOE are granted access to FA however if the approval is for next year and they then log in FA during the current year, they get a message stating: "This user does not have access to Family/Student Access" which causes confusion for guardians who have an accepted application. Our district registrar has fielded numerous phone calls from guardians questioning…11 votes -
Guardian 1 and Guardian 2 should be able to set their own ranges for grading email notifications.
Parents have the capability to turn on/off grading email notifications. However, only guardian 1 is permitted to set the ranges. If the option is going to be offered to each parent, then each parent should be able to set their preferences. Mom may want to be notified every time her child receives a grade above 90, but dad/stepdad would only want to be notified when a grade of failing is received. Current set up is limiting parent participation in child's educational progress.

A report for grades that shows the number of courses failed by grade level and to be able to compare between 2 school years.
A report in Skyward that shows the number of courses failed by grade level? By course? I'm not looking for specific names. I need to be able to compare those numbers between last year and this year.
Specifically comparing quarters from year to year (T1, T2, T3, T4)

We are using student indicators to quickly identify our virtual students. Can this view option please be added to attendance day summary.

Method of Instruction within Student Browse
Would be very helpful to have MOI as a field available in one of the Student Browse Views or create a new View for this. This would be an easy and quick way for school admins or office staff to see which students are missing a code or to set filters to display one particular group and drop them to Excel. I know they can run a data mining report but the Student Browse is much quicker and easier to use for our staff who aren't comfortable creating their own DM reports.

Processing List for Student Profile and Browse
It would be helpful if we could use Processing Lists for viewing a group of students in Students>Student Profile and Student Browse screens.
There are times when we need to modify something for a specific group of students. It would be a tremendous help to flip between the students based on a Processing List.

Skybuild Interface Update/Overhaul Needed
Skybuild is perhaps one of the most potentially useful but cumbersome and user-hostile features in Skyward: I often must guess the input format or value needed for a field; Skybuild field names sometimes don't match the name of the display field name; importable field options are too limited (I believe I should be able to import any and all fields into Skyward); linking fields to CSV columns is very awkward; the error/import reports are incomplete and misleading and can easily make one think the import was successful when it was not; and it is not clear what data must exists…

Clear All Missing Work Checks for a Quarter
It would be wonderful to be able to clear all the missing work checks for all students in all assignments in a class for a quarter at once instead of having to do them assignment by assignment.

Print Online Applications on 2 Pages instead of 3.
We have to print out online applications for auditors, food service people, etc. The print area is set so that it prints 3 pages and takes a lot of space in notebooks, additional paper, etc. We would like to see the print area reformatted so that it would print on 2 pages (or one page front and back). It looks like it would be simple to remove the page break prior to Step 4 and include it on page 1. Thank you!

Medication Expiration Dates in Data Mining or Medication Reports

There is no way to run a medication report for the Expiration Date Field on Track Medication Inventory. Please add the Expiration Date Field to Data Mining. This will help nurses keep track of expiration dates, even when the Family Access Automated Email is not enabled.It would also be helpful to add the Expiration Field to Medication Reports so you can set up a report and task to help you keep track.
