Virtual - Courses with Students in Multiple Entities
Due to the pandemic we have now added virtual teachers, students and classes. Providing a virtual teacher at each building and each grade level is not economically feasible, due to the number of enrolled virtual students. Creating a new virtual entity is not an option due to state accountability.

Add FS Application and all other options available in Online Registration to NSOE
It would make so much more sense and save so much time and extra hassle for parents and staff to have the same options available for new students enrolling in the district as the students that e-enroll each year.
Once we have a parent registering their new student(s) we want them to be able to do everything needed to register at that time. We may not get the parent to go back on and complete the rest of the registration process which includes important steps such as…

Data mine assignments synced from LMS
Currently, you can only data mine information about online assignments built in Skyward—not assignments that are synced over from an LMS such as Canvas. Our district needs the ability to generate an Excel report of listing all students' assignment scores and submission dates. I appreciate you can generate assignment detail and progress reports that list assignments reports via Educator Access Plus, but the print format is not usable.

Report for grades not transferred in by teachers
Due to Covid-19 and the massive amount of students changing their courses due to changes in enrollment from brick-and-mortar to virtual and then back. We are unable to keep up with monitoring the teachers transferring grades into the new course without a report to aid the Administrators that flags the teachers who are not transferring grades. This is resulting in massive amounts of grade changes and corrections and reprinting of report cards. Several of our schools have been asking for the ability to email report cards in a mass process. They have been posting online but less and less parents are going into Family Access to check so they are considering going back to a mailed report card.

Please add staff Photo ID number to Skybuild Export Builder.
It is becoming a more and more common requirement for data sources. It would help to just use the number as a unique identifier, or at the very least, as a source to match up to other sources via staff ID numbers.

Mass Assign SAT/ACT/TSIA Reimbursement
In Texas we are required to indicate students for whom we have received reimbursement from the State for an SAT/ACT/TSIA exam. That needs to be a field that we can mass assign so we are able to quickly add that notification when we receive our school day test scores. Currently, you have to go into each individual student and add the indicator.

State Reporting TX - require data entry for New GRADE LEVEL field for those with POP SERVED of 06
in the STAFF PROFILE area, when adding a RESPONSIBILITY for Role ID of 033 or 087 ... and a POP SERVED of 06 ... require user to enter a GRADE LEVEL ... this would help avoid errors from rule 30090-0120

New Student Online Enrollment allowing a existing guardian to edit their address
New Student Online Enrollment Application allow existing guardians to update their address.
When a guardian is bringing their child/children back into the district since the guardian is already in the system they can't update their address which has almost always changed. It would be very helpful if they could change their address on the application.7 votes -

Add Guardian Language choice to the Extra Information options that can be selected for the Student Profile header
The student language field is an option on the Extra Information to Display list for the customizable header information in student profile. For our district it is more important that we can see the Family 1 home language field because that would indicate if an interpreter is needed when calling. Please consider adding the guardian language field as an option on this list. An alternative would be to create a new field called Interpreter Needed and making that available on this screen.

Canvas/Skyward integration, remove missing mark that was previously synced
Work with Canvas integration so that when a previously "unscored and marked as zero" assignment is actually scored and then resynced, the "Missing" mark is removed; currently, the grade is transferred but the missing mark is not removed in Skyward and has to be removed by assignment, and/or by student.

Indicators on class roster report
When running a class roster report (not as a teacher, but on the student management side) we want to be able to print the student indicators. The teachers are able to print this easily with this roster report, but it doesn't on the office side, it currently only allows us to print the 540, LEP, and Sp Ed indicator. Which is great. However, there are times we want to be able to print other indicators as well.

Message Center
It would be great if on the message center, you could also have a Staff selection. Alot of times, I send out district wide messages for fundraisers and such. For staff, I enter additional names. That is time consuming and I honestly could forget someone. Having that option to select staff along with teachers, parents and students would be a huge help...because teachers do not include staff.

In Discipline Entry, you have parent notified as a check box so we can sort that data; would love to have SRO involved button so we can sor
Here is what I submitted to the help desk but was suggested I do this:
When I do discipline entries, I have a box to click when I have taken the time/initiative to contact a parent regarding an incident. This is helpful. I am wondering if there is a way to do the same for if the School Resource Officer (SRO) is involved. For example, a child is found in possession of a pocket knife. Typically, the admin would enter the information into Skyward. I would most likely select the 'parent notified' box but would also like to select/somehow designate…6 votes
