We would love to translate the detailed description for the grade mark legend on report cards. Currently we have to use the description to print on report cards because the detailed description can not be translated.

Student Current Scheduling Matrix View
We like using the Matrix view, but would like to be able to "hide" past terms, or have a filter option, so we can view Term 02 and Term 03 without seeing Term 01 for example.

Student Information Report
We generate a report in Students/Reports/Student Information to send home to Family 1 at the beginning of the school year in order to update their family info. So much easier for families to make minor changes rather than receive a blank form and enter data from scratch each year. It would be beneficial if we were able to print each family on it's own page rather than all families printing on same page. We have a child who lives with mom in Family 1, but dad wants his data in Skyward as Family 2 but doesn't want mom to know…

Add an enrollment limbo option for students who are approved in online registration without adding a state reportable enrollment date
When new students are approved through the online application/registration process, Skyward is adding the approval date to the entry/withdraw tab as the official enrollment date. This is problematic because these dates are not accurate since there is a day or so lapse in time while the school builds a schedule, finalizes assessments and placements for special services, etc. Therefore, it would be helpful if new students could be added in a "pending status" where schools can see the student and build schedules without causing the need for the registrar to keep tabs and change the enrollment dates once the school…

Positive Attendance Enhancements
Just started using PA in our district for some little things and have been thinking of ways to make it better.
Have teachers be able to see a student's PA check in location in their grade book for their class period(s). This would be useful for cases where a student is absent from class it would be good to know if the student went to an approved location for that teachers class or not.
Have student self check in for nurse/office visits also update PA when they check in. Right now unless the secretary is watching the queue and updating…

Course Type Codes with More Than 3 Characters
We need to be able to create Course Types with more than 3 characters. Being limited to 3 characters hinders our users to utilize/create codes that contain more than 4 or more characters. The downfall we are running into is that when a transcript is printed courses that have 4 or more course types attached does not print all the codes associated.
This will allow our registrars to print transcripts with accurate data displayed.7 votes -
Message Center-Only Show Schedule After Online Reg
For Message Center add the option to "Only Show Schedule After Online Registration is Completed" for only teacher messages. Because the teachers name and course is listed when a teacher posts to message center without this option its difficult to keep scheduling information under wraps under the online registration is complete. Administration / principal messages would need to be allowed prior to online registration completion. This would allow instructions and messages concerning the completing the online registration to be posted along with any other pertinent information.

Add Service ID as a field that can be viewed
I would like to see service ID and other Texas specific fields added as a options that could be added or removed from the column view in curriculum master and course master. Having this there would make verification of the data much simpler than having to generate a report.

Adding transaction dates to the course by course report
Adding teacher transaction dates to the course by course report. This would be very beneficial so that you don't have to expand each section to view the dates.

Printing Reports includes Navigation Menu Paths
It would be great if when reports print, the Navigation Menu Paths were printed at the top. That way, someone else would be able to find their way to run themselves.

MFA via Email or Text
Just putting in a request to have MFA over email or text built into the system.
Email especially would help us get MFA set up for staff members who prefer to not use their personal cell phone for work. Not many of our staff members use an app for MFA already so this would help us meet those staff members where they are.

Arena Scheduling Required Forms
I would like the option to require parents to complete/submit a custom form (liability waiver for summer school) before they can click the "Submit Schedule" link in Arena Scheduling. This will eliminate the need to chase down parents after they submit their schedule to collect the signed waivers

Improving Access to Custom Forms in the Skyward Mobile App
Many parents have expressed interest in being able to access custom forms directly through the Skyward mobile app. The technology department gets numerous calls and support requests from parents stating they are unable to locate the custom forms. If integrating custom forms into the app is not feasible, an alternative solution could be to add a "Custom Forms" button or link within the app. This "Button" would redirect parents to access those forms through their web browser. ON STUDENT SIDE - ABILITY TO ADD STAFF TO ENTITY AND SECURITY AT SAME TIME!!!
When creating Staff at entity; have option to go directly to security area to add security for that staff person
When creating a Staff member, a teacher for example, it would be nice to have a box to check to 'Add Security' and upon saving that set up, be taken directly to the Secured User area to that specific staff members account and add their security without having to move out of the Staff area and into the security area and then retype in the staff name and expand to add the security. Future Scheduling requests following student
When we have students who transfer from one campus to another within our district, we would like to have the student requests follow them so the receiving campus can see what the student previously requested. If the courses are not the same number, that is OK, instead of giving the student another request form and starting from scratch for the receiving campus. This information would be very valuable and a time saver for the counselors and registrars.
