Translator Needed For Conferences
It would be helpful if parents could indicate that they need a translator when signing up for parent-teacher conferences in the parent portal.

is it possible to have Skyward auto email a parent when the Progress Reports and Report Cards are posted to the portfolio in Family Access from the Office Side and not use the message center?

Print Future Schedules to Sort by Class Period
Currently when printing future scheduling schedules the class sort is by the current year schedule. It would be very useful if the sort by class period would be from the future schedule, not the current schedule.

Email Notification when family cancels absences request in family access
I have notifications enabled to notify our secretary when a family member creates an absence request via Skyward Family Access. This is working great. However, if that family member goes in an cancels the previously entered request that has not been approved yet is there a way our secretary can get an email notifiation of that? Also, would be nice for the parent to get an email of that cancellation as well.

update skyward documentation
Your skyward documentation area is not updated to newest version. When I look up, for example, how to enter different kinds of discipline and actions it very vague and is of no help. It is also from 2012. I realize that having so many documents in the help area would take a lot of time you should do this for some of the most used areas. I think if you attached a video from a up to date skyward webinar would be easier also.

Student Locator Icon access in Educator Access Plus
The student locator icon is not available when teachers are in Educator Access Plus taking attendance in their class. If a student is not in the classroom but not absent, they have to go out to the dashboard to access it (Because they have security to do so). It would great if they could click on the student locator pin on the bar at the top while in their gradebooks.

information labels
It would be nice to be able to have documentation or definitions for setting up for own label templates when creating address or information labels in Skyward. I can't find documentation on the definition of margins, label dimensions, or pitch. It would also be nice to be able to see if the templates in our system are Skyward templates or label templates created by our internal users.

Hide Specific Courses in the Course Master
I would like the ability to pick specific courses in the course master using a check box and hide them. We run a computerized credit recovery program and those courses need to stay active. There are a lot of them that I would like to hide similar to how I can hide rows or columns in an Excel or Google sheet. This would allow me to see only the active courses offered to the majority of students.

Add an option to request translation services when scheduling conferences
When scheduling conferences in Family Access we would like there to be an option to request translation services for conferences. We want access to translation services to be the norm and not something that families feel burdened to request. This would need to include spoke and sign language, and ideally the selection should be written in the language used by those needing the service.

Add the ability to pull the discipline detail report into and excel file.
Add the ability to pull the Discipline Detail Report into an excel file.
We use the predefined comments to better track the types of offenses causing the discipline action. (Ie: Dress Code Violation, Smoking/Vape) Although I have a datamine set up, if I could pull the same information in the detail report to excel that would be helpful. Isolating the predefined comments from additional comments the discipline officer may want to enter would also be helpful when filtering to run a count.

Mass set note filter
We’ve researched this issue, and it turns out that the system is functioning properly. We’ve tested, and users at the middle school (and elementary school) do have access to see the legal notes. However, the list of notes is filtered by date, and the user must update the “Filter Options” to see notes since a specified date. If the filtering date is not far enough back, then older notes are not shown. We’ve confirmed with Skyward Support that there is no “rolling forward” process for notes from year to year or campus to campus. They are tied to the student.…

Add Other ID# to Guidance Reports
This is self explanatory. All student reports in Skyward should be standardized with the ability to print Other ID#.

In need of a report that shows the date/time a gradebook was updated.
It would be helpful for our Principal to be able to run a report that shows the last time/date a gradebook was updated. There are reports in Skyward that show times/dates for Parent/Student access and the last time/date Attendance was updated for each class. This would help to ensure all gradebooks are up-to-date and grades being reported are the most current.

Allow transfer of previous term grade from the Office to the Gradebook
We would LOVE to have the ability to push a grade for a new student (or one with a schedule change) from the Office/Grading module to the new teacher's gradebook for previous terms. While we understand that a teachers should click the NEW button and use one of the 5 methods to get grades into previous buckets in their gradebook, getting teachers to do this (and do it correctly) is a huge headache for us. This would save a tremendous amount of time for teachers AND officer personnel. The teacher, of course, could later make adjustments if needed.

Create an option in Advanced Features Entity count reports show count breakdown by students in house and serving schools ?
This report would give us the breakdown of number of students attending in house and those attending specific serving schools.

Pop-up Confirmation for Auto Email Notifications
Oftentimes, if just switching families (for the ability to do online registration), editing an address of an already withdrawn student, adding a current student to an entity (8th gr to HS) - to name a few situations, the automated notification causes alarm among staff and parents. Instead of having to go into Automated Emails and inactivate the notification every time a simple change is needed and then having to remember to go back and activate it again, it would be helpful it there was a pop-up asking if the email notification should be sent.

Add Medicaid Parental Consent Date for Special Ed Other tab in Student Profile
SHARS and other groups and entities now require the date of parental consent for medicaid billing. This is collected in the Frontline ESTAR/ESPED program and we have asked them to add that field to the nightly export.
However, we need a date field in Student Profile - Special ED - Other tab for the data to be imported to. Please see the screenshots doc attached. Thank you.
