Add Method of Instruction and District Category to Student Profile > Ranges
We would like to see the Method of Instruction and District Category added to the Ranges options when narrowing down the Student Profile. Please add these as options for filtering. Thank you!

Order of Student Incicators
It would be nice to be able to adjust the order of the student indicators. Used to be we selected what slot, now that we have the open ended (which is FANTASTIC) we need to be able to select in what order they display.

Selected Grades Report: add Student email and parent email address fields.
Would like to have Student emaill address and parent email address to the Selected grades report to make it easier to identity who to contact when we run the report. We run this for a D/F list and then contact the parent.

Fee Management - Ability to Reverse Charge if paid via web/vendor
Currently, if a parent pays for a fee/charge using our online vender/wep payment, we lose the ability to reverse the charge and have to use an Arrears code to document the refund. It would be a lot easier if we could still just do a "reverse charge" and process the refund record for fees paid online like we can for fees that were paid with cash/check.

MOI on attendance field
Can you put "Method of Instruction" on the Today's Attendance field for each student, so you can see, if the student is absent, what MOI they are instead of having to go to their profile page?

Expired Password Reset
It would be very helpful if the utility to Mass Generate Family Permissions/Passwords (WS\FA\FM\PS\UT\PP) would include the option to only reset expired passwords.
We send out letters yearly to families regarding their accounts then weekly as new students register through the school year. In this letter we include the initial login and password (blank if the parent already changed). A number of parent accounts have expired passwords since elementaries typically hadn't logged in much, but with virtual schooling we have a lot more parents trying to log in.7 votes -
attendance edit comments
We would like the option to allow teachers to edit their own comments once they have saved comments.
Our elementary schools are set up with 2 attendance periods. When the teacher enters attendance in period 1, it populates period 2.
This year with COVID we have online teachers. They can change attendance type for period 2 after the initial save, but cannot modify comments for period 2.7 votes -
Link Calendar to Attendance for Emergency Days
Currently when we have an emergency day (snow day, cold day, etc), we need to manually go into each entity and delete out attendance for pre-arranged absences, etc. When editing the calendar for these days, it would be much more efficient and so helpful if a pop-up could ask if we want to delete student attendance for specific/all entities/schools.

Mass Delete for General Staff Conferneces
There really needs to be a way to mass delete General Staff Conferences. You can mass delete Regular Parent Teacher Conferences. This would really help with clean up.

Data Mine Previous School and Previous District fields
The fields "Previous School" and "Previous District" located under the School Path tab, are not available in data mining. We have families fill this information out and there is no way to data mine it out to use or analyze. It would be extremely helpful to be able to data mine out these two fields. I would like to use them to verify new KG students have the correct entry codes for state reporting.

Student Information Report needs a user defined fields option
The Student Information Report is a great report. What would make it a fantastic report is the added option of user defined field selection. There are many student demographic data fields needed for data matching between systems when a student transfers. I am attaching a file with the fields needed that would make this a wonderful report to run when a student withdraws. And, no this can't be data mined out in a easy to read format. It is accessing too many modules and is splitting the report. I have already placed several service calls and non of the Skyward…

Future Course Selection Letter for Parents
It would be so nice to be able to print a Future Course Selection for each student to be mailed home to parents to confirm their student's course selections for the next school year.
I would love a format similar to report cards with the option of "Parent or Guardian" and address. Also, allow for printable comments. We'd love to be able to inform parents on this form that schedules are firm and cannot be changed after a certain deadline.7 votes -
Arena Scheduling and Displaying Classes available
When we open Arena Scheduling in Student Access, we need the capability to allow the student to filter (Hide) courses that are unavailable to be scheduled (Indicator F for Full). We have a lot of courses that the students cannot select and they have to keep paging through to get to one they can schedule. This would be a huge help.

Make a button or dropdown option for teachers when the parent was a no show for conferences.
Once Conferences are done, teachers don't have an option to select "No Show" for conferences. They can check that the parent attended, but what if they don't show up?

Edit academic standards in Secondary Gradebooks
We are using academic standards in our secondary gradebooks. Once an assignment is created with academic standards attached and then is saved, you cannot edit any of the academic information. For example, the wrong point value is attached to an academic standard. Once the assignment is saved, this value cannot be edited. The entire assignment must be deleted and recreated. We would like the ability to edit academic standards once they are attached to an assignment.

Attendance Mail Merge
Similar to the mail merge in discipline, if you can create a freeform that will allow to create documents that pull student information directly from the student profile.
This will be useful for all PA users in completing school attendance improvement plans which are required by the state. Users can create a standardized template that uploads fields with the student information.

Expose IEP, FRL, ELL status in Clever API
Clever has the ability to pull IEP Status, Free/Reduced Lunch Status, ELL Status but those field are not exposed on the Skyward API. If we could pass those data elements through Clever to certain applications we roster through Clever, we would be better able to effectively analyze student results and application effectiveness.

It would be helpful to have a field for attendance: Total Days Possible( based on students entry date) that could be added to Custom Report Cards and Transcripts. At the end of the year/semester it would be extremely helpful to see how many days a student was absent out of a total number of days possible based on their entry date.
