All canned reports should have other id/name key to create processing lists
Every single report that is a canned report in Skyward for districts to use should ALWAYS include either the student ID or the name key so that processing lists can be created from them. It is such an easy field to add but I have spent the past 2 hours manually creating processing lists because the students couldn't be imported. It's such a waste of time when adding this one field to report is a minor change and would allow an incredible amount of flexibility for districts to have the data they need at their fingertips.

Change Family Access Users to be entity specific when not in District Entity.
When a staff member has access to one entity, they should not have the ability to access any parent, student, or teacher from the entire district.
Our secretaries assist parents, students, and teachers for a variety of areas from registration, trouble shooting in the gradebook, etc. Their access should include ONLY the entity they have access to, not the entire district. This is a privacy and security issue! EMERGENCY CONTACT AREA FOR STAFF
We had an episode today that required emergency contact for a staff member. There was no where on the student management side that included this information. This is vital information that each building should have access too online.

Due to Texas using TSDS numbers for testing, it would be nice to add TSDS numbers to Class Roster Reports.

I would like to automate when a work flow code is changed in NSOE to email the next person in the approval process
We have a code ODT (out of district transfers) in the workflow process that the clerk will use when the NSOE application is ready for principal approval. I think it would be extremely helpful to have automated emails in the workflow process. When a particular code is used/changed an automated email would email the staff member next in the process that the application is awaiting their approval.

Student Cell Phone in Online Registration
When the student's third phone field is shown under Student Information in Online Registration, the family just sees a drop-down that has a default value of blank, an empty field and then Ext with a field next to it. The drop-down is shaded the same color as fields that are read-only. Can there be an option to set the default value of the drop-down or at least have a description that is next to that drop-down so families don't just glance at these blank fields and think there is nothing to enter there?

Disable teacher gradebook viewing abilities for Semester 2
While building Semester 2 schedules, it would be very beneficial to deactivate teacher viewing abilities in gradebooks for Semester 2 only. Building schedules is a process in which the Counselor assigns courses, then proceeds to shuffle the courses according to requirements that need to be met for each individual student. When teachers can view the schedules as the Counselor is beginning the process, we are bombarded with unnecessary emails and drop-ins. Payor Balance Notices - mailing address vs. physical address
Please add programming logic to the system that will use the payor's mailing address if it exists in the system. Right now we are getting several of these letters returned because the system is using the physical address and not the mailing address.

Medicaid Consent default to blank instead of NO
Update the Medicaid Consent on Student Profile > Special Ed > Other SE tab to default to blank. There is no way to run a report to see which parents we need to contact and which parents said no.

Is it possible to add a spelling and grammar check to the special education forms so when staff is typing information on the forms, spell check and grammar check is happening?

Clone Section 504 Data (excluding Dates) in Special Programs - Section 504
When entering the Section 504 Data in Special Programs for each individual student, it would be nice to have a Clone Tab so it would clone all the information as far disabilities and Student Accommodations. Most of this information stays the same each year; but dates would need to change.

Parents are asking to have a notification flag posted to the family access page that states if they have outstanding fees to pay and if so how much.

Give check box option for preferred name in reports
My teachers have the option to display the preferred name (other name from the general tab) in their grade books. When they print reports the student's legal name shows. They would like a check box in the report templates to show preferred name for students. With more and more students preferring a different name that legal and state reporting we want to use the other name field and not change the student key.

Ability to Mass Delete templates by date for Report Cards/Progress Reports
I have so many Report Card/Progress Report Templates that must be deleted and i have to delete each one. I have one for the report card, one for the upload to the portfolio for RC, one for Progress Reports and one to mass upload to the portfolio. That is possibly 4-6 per year for all 40+ campuses.

In Future Scheduling, Request Processing to allow Multiple Course Requests of the Same Course
We have students who take multiple courses of the same course in a year. For example, Advanced Ag Mechanics, Developmental Instruction, Online College, etc. When building their schedule, it would be great if it allowed you to request the class more than once. Since it doesn't you do get the desired accuracy out of Auto Scheduler.

Add Provider field to Entry by Student Browse, Student Intervention View
Staff that are designated the Provider for the Students Intervention need to be able to easily locate their students to update their intervention records. Currently they would need to run a report to identify their students and locate them in the Browse. If a new column could be added for Provider, they would easily be able to filter the students they are responsible for.

For the Oct 1 Child Count, if a student is NOT being counted due to different placements and another school is claiming them, it would be nice to have an "Exclude" button in entry/withdrawal similar to the "Exclude from 3rd Friday Count" button.

Earned Industry Certification
"Earned Industry Certifications" was added to the "Vocational Ed" tab on the student profile, but this field isn't available in Data Mining. So we can't pull a list of student's who have it. Can we get this added to Data Mining?
