Option to Clone Variable Scales
We need an option to clone variables scales in the secondary gradebook from entity to entity and include it as part of the year end utilities to clone from year to year.
We have 20 campuses and we have to define the percent high and low values from 1 to 100! That's 2000 we will have to enter annually when we should be able to clone them after the first 100.

Activity Lists from Processing Lists
We should be able to use a processing list to load students into activities. Currently the most efficient way to load students in mass into an activity is to create a fake class (and section) use the mass request utility to load the students into the fake class use the fake class to add students to the activity then remove the students from the fake class and delete the fake class and section. It would be way easier if we could use processing lists to load students into activities.

Mass update grading periods
Please see the 2 attachments. I am trying to clone grading periods using WS\OF\AT\PS\UT\SC. I have updated the grading periods for campus 001. I am selecting to mass update "all entities" using 001. The entities all carry the same # of grading periods (same calendar terms YR & S1 & S2... all same throughout the district). It is not updating as requested. Grad Type Code
I would like to request that the Graduation Type Code have a way to track all changes by whom date and time. The reason this has come up is because our Grad Type codes were mass changed somehow and reported incorrectly and also incorrectly printed on our transcripts for 2016 graduates. The change history function for the Grad Type Code would be a great benefit!

"Administered By" - restriction option
The goal of this enhancement is to give the districts the option to restrict the data that can be entered into the "Administered By" field when administering student medications.
Our school nurses indicate that standard accepted medical practice is for the person who is administering the medication to be the same person who is also entering the data into the student's medication administration record. Teachers knowing/printing IHPs for their students
The goal of this enhancement is for teachers to be able to run a report that identifies students in their classes (My Students) who have an active IHP for the current school year and prints those IHPs. This would also be equally beneficial for Activity Advisors via Advisor Access in EA+. A similar report is available in Student Management but when a teacher runs this report there is no good way to get just their own students - It would probably have to reside in EA+ for it to filter to just the students they have in classes.

Create Option to Not Create Letters If Emailed
Attendance Letters are currently generated for all students who meet the criteria. Parents of those students may have email addresses and can receive attendance emails. At this time there is no way to not generate letters for students whose parents will already get attendance emails and those letters must be manually pulled from the batch that was generated. It would be nice to be able to flag a student whose parents will receive emails to not generate an attendance letter.

Increase field length for Key Concentps
While other areas in the Curriculum map can be set to have a short and long description the key concept area is limited to 100 characters per entry. This is not long enough for out needs and some items are getting cut off. The reason why our entries are so long is that we are using a UBD curriculum map format which requires us to type in what a student is expected to understand not just a simple topic name.

Standards Coverage report
When using curriculum mapping we are having a hard time confirming that all standards associated to a curriculum master record was linked to a curriculum map. For example we know all the specific standards that should be covered in 3rd grade math which are linked to the curriculum record. We will then want to confirm that the curriculum map appropriately addresses all the standards to ensure complete coverage of standards.
A report which lists which standards were covered how many times and highlighting the standards which were not covered would be helpful.21 votes -
Add Utility to Mass Add Entry Withdrawal Records
Students change grade levels throughout the school year at many at-risk campuses. Currently the process for entering a status change must be done on an individual student level. Adding a utility to withdraw as a status change and create a new entry from a processing list (or selecting individual students) would streamline this process.
The ability to complete a status change withdrawal and new entry record for all grade level advancements during the school year.

Mass add health note
Would love the option to add a health note but be able to have it chart in several children's files at once. So like a mass add medication but a mass add health note
Ex. Scoliosis screening letter sent home via mail for parental response.

Allow date range for missing assignment display
Family/Student Access - gradebook display - missing assignment list
Please don't display assignments as missing if the student is not enrolled in the class. That covers classes that have ended (from 1st semester) and classes that have been dropped. I can't imagine a time when that list could be helpful and the list loses its impact and usefulness when students learn to ignore it because "that's all old stuff I can't make up anymore anyway".

Dual Enrollment Warning for Inactive Record
If Dual Enrollment settings only apply to Active student enrollment records then we need another popup that will warn customer that the student about to be enrolled has an existing enrollment in the future.

Automated Email Notification
Would be helpful if there was a trigger to generate an email when the student's grade/grad year is changed. We have various students whether immigrant international or just incorrectly placed when they first enroll and then are later updated to what their grade level should be. When this is done the office does not necessarily contact any other users that this change would impact - for example - students that would need to be tested for MSTEP or ACT.

Custom Report Card Colors
Currently there are no options for changing the colors used for shading in the custom report cards. Report cards could be improved if shading is allowed in more than one color. I would like to see at least one additional color added to the shading options in custom report cards.

Sort Events by Category
Currently events in the standards gradebook cannot be sorted by category (only by due date). Based on how elementary teachers are using categories to track competencies in different areas it would be ideal to be able to sort by event category. I would like to see this option added to the Event Display options in the standard gradebook.

IEP Writer Import
The IEP Writer Import process is unable to be scheduled as a scheduled task. It would be ideal if the process could be scheduled to load a file from a location on the server. Per Skyward Customer Support several districts have inquired on this topic but no one has ever submitted it as an RFE.

Curriculum selection in Student Access
When selecting curriculum keys in student access career plan you have to select the keys one by one. Would be useful to have the ability to select multiple keys.

Promotion Status- add placed
We use Secondary report cards and transcript labels have been ask year after year to have a choice other that promoted pending or retained to "PLACED"
The administrators feel like when they see "Placed" on a report card and transcript label that this would raise questions and to dig deeper into why the student was PLACED. The choice could be just like we do the other choices under the entity tab.
Also add to the mass add promotion/retention utility. Add processing list as a option to mass add.

Allow additional grade ranges on Course Master
The course master only allows a range of -02 - 12 when entering grade ranges for a course. Update it so that it accepts more values.
