SPN Staff Name to help with DOE Sync Errors
The DOE matches staff synced from Skyward to their license database, LVIS.
Our HR system requires us to use the staff's legal name for income tax purposes. We sync our staff names from our HR system into Skyward.Similar to the legal name in the Identity tab for students, could we have an SPN name area for staff so we could send the name to the DOE that matches LVIS?

"STUDENT TYPE" on the ENTRY/WITHDRAWAL tab needs to stay what it's set when the students are rolled up every year
The student type on the entry /withdrawal tab changes every time the student gets rolled up year after year. Why can't it just stay 504, AR, etc? Every year after the rollup we have to go and change the student type because it defaults to REG. Trust me, there are not a lot of REG students. Mostly AR, 504.

LEP and 504 as Y/N fields in Profile like Sped
General demographic reports are that people want are always the same. They want Gender, Race, Sped, English Learner, 504, etc. When trying to set up data mining reports there is an As Of field for English Learner and 504 to pull a yes no that is as of the day you run it. It would be nice to either have that field be variable so you can set this report up to be a scheduled task and it would always pull current information of whether the student is 504 or English Learner. Automated email when families split - get divorced
It would be nice to have an email when families split or get divorced. We have multiple entities and it would be nice to know when this happens from another building.

print NSOE parent attachments under the manage required documents area
In NSOE on the right hand side there is a button "manage required documents". By selecting this button, can it be added that we can print all of the attachments for that application at one time. Instead of going to the attachment and printing one at a time and the ability to print the custom forms for that application at that same time?

Absence Request FA Screen
Our district uses the absence requests to request early dismissals. A Skycoder prompt based upon attendance code (such as early dismissal) would be beneficial to remind parents not to submit an early dismissal through the portal after 9:00 a.m. for the same day. Likewise, a prompt attached to the medically absent code telling parents to attach a doctors note would be beneficial as well, when the ability to add attachments is added. :)

Secondary guardian for invoices/statement notices

teacher grade posting Report to include subject and skill grades
We are looking for a way to run a report for teachers who did not post Subject/skill grades for SBRC's. Currently we run data mining reports but that is very time consuming to go through since not all skills are graded each marking period.

Add School Day in Two Places
At menu path: WS\ST\TB\SC\CS\SI\ST, view all transaction, having the school day, the number of the day progressing through the school year, would be very helpful for certain departments and their meetings. This menu path is used by the guidance office and goes into an annual effort, by the teachers and guidance office, to track what percentage of the school year a teacher taught a student. These transactions look to be a snap shot in time and being able to see a school day number associated with the calendar day would greatly reduce manual efforts, increase accuracy, and automate several processes.

Add non-cte industry credentials/work-based experiences to the transcript
Currently, you can only add the Career/Tech Ed industry credentials and work-based credentials to the transcript. We are required, in PA, to add the non-cte industry credentials and work-based experiences to the transcript, especially since it directly affects the pathway to graduation.

Add waitlist to Arena Scheduling. We use Arena Scheduling for Summer School and would be nice if kiddos could be put on waitlist. We then could determine to increase seat count or add an additional section

Add period and total minutes to extracted data FTE report
it would be helpful to have the classes listed on the FTE student schedules from the maintain in period number order and to add the period number to the report. It would also be helpful to total the minutes for each student in addition to totaling the FTE.

Give more flexibility to naming of periods in Bell schedule
Give more flexibility to naming of periods in Bell schedule. Most of our high schools have a short period at some time during the day, so if it was between 2nd and 3rd period they might call it 3a. Or some schools would like to call it "Patriot time" or "Prime time". They don't want it to be the zero period and show up out of order. Or maybe a way to default student schedule to sort by meet times.

Student Profile - Extra Information Add Gender Identity
Please add the option to show the Gender Identy of a student on the student profile header in the customize/extra information area. We have the ability to only show gender identity for parents and teachers, but the office staff/student management users need to have this ability, too.

Removed home access for FA/SA display for teachers
We would like to remove the home screen access from teachers under family/student access in educator access plus. We do want our teachers to have access to the family access grade book for their students but we do not want them to have access to the home page. Private information is listed there regarding FRP applications that teachers should not have access to.
