Change the the expected grade level to enroll in if the DOB is changed.
In Step 1 of the application, the user enters the DOB and a popup displays showing the expected grade level to enroll in, and that grade level populates in a separate field.
If the user changes the DOB, there is no popup identifying the correct grade level and the grade level expected to enroll does not update.
This is problematic as parents often fail to update the grade level and the custom forms populated in Step 6 are generated dependent on the grade level.
This seems to be more of a programming error than an enhancement request.

Please add the resident district to the address record. This field could be used for validation of the resident district on the student.

Add the ability to blank out all census block groups
Currently census block groups can be imported via skybuild only via an attached student. I recommend adding the ability to blank out all census block groups for addresses. If all students leave a home, then the address record can only be modified by using address master. This feature is not very easy to use for large scale address maintenance. Since we have a change of block groups this year, we end up with 2010 and 2020 CBGs in address master. Add an option to request translation services when scheduling conferences
When scheduling conferences in Family Access we would like there to be an option to request translation services for conferences. We want access to translation services to be the norm and not something that families feel burdened to request. This would need to include spoke and sign language, and ideally the selection should be written in the language used by those needing the service.

Career Plan – Curriculum Quick Entry
When adding Curriculum > click on “Maintain” > “+ Add Curriculum” at the top of the year column > type the “curriculum key”, counselors are requesting the option to press enter and have it execute the same code as if they clicked on “Save and Add Another” button. Counselors have the curriculum codes memorized and it really, really, really slows them down when they have to stop and click the button every time. This would function similar to the “Request Quick Entry” when scheduling a course under current scheduling.

Change Family Access Users to be entity specific when not in District Entity.
When a staff member has access to one entity, they should not have the ability to access any parent, student, or teacher from the entire district.
Our secretaries assist parents, students, and teachers for a variety of areas from registration, trouble shooting in the gradebook, etc. Their access should include ONLY the entity they have access to, not the entire district. This is a privacy and security issue! Is it possible to add a spelling and grammar check to the special education forms so when staff is typing information on the forms, spell check and grammar check is happening?

Counselors would like to be able to include the students administrator and counselor when they send out emails from the student profile schedule screen. Currently, only the teachers show up. Need to have a counselor and school admin field added to this email name selection view screen?

Make Student Indicators follow students from entity to entity
When a student moves from one school to the other, it would be helpful if the indicator followed. For example, RTI Referral. If the student switches schools right after an RIT is submitted, the teacher or administrator is not going to think about emailing the next school this information, especially if it is just a normal transfer from elementary to middle school.

Be able to select multiple teachers to print their schedules
When working on scheduling it is helpful to print a teacher's schedule. I sometimes want to print more than one. It would be helpful to be able to choose what teachers' schedules I want, rather than having to print more than one report.

Footer Information on Special Education Paper work
In the footer section of special education paperwork, the student's name and date the form was printed appears at the bottom. The font is extremely small. It would be nice if the font was bigger so it is easier to read and see. I have been told by Skyward the size is hard coded so it would have to be a programming change which would affect all users.

training options to help families navigate the mobile app and troubleshooting issues
When families run into issues using the app I am not able to help them. I don't have any training on the app and I can't get into it as a parent to see what they are viewing. Is there any way to at least add training videos?

Add field to Emergency Information Report to include "Pick Up"
Add field to canned report underneath student reports, Emergency Information Report, to include "Pick Up". There are instances where there is an individual who is not authorized to pick up the child even though they are a contact.

default fee due dates
When student fees are pushed out at the start of the year through the mass fee creation utility they are able to all be given a specific due date. As students are enrolled and scheduled after running the mass fee creation utility, their fees due date are the date that the course is added. Same with when a schedule is changed, the due date for the new course fees is the date the course was added. This creates an issue when parents go to view their fees and any new fees will show up as past due. It would be…

Family Access Missing Assignments
When we get a new student in our school the assignments that were given prior to their enrollment show up as missing assignments. Parents/Students get confused or upset about the number of missing assignments that then show up. Past assignments should not show up for new students that enroll into a entity.
