Section 504 Custom Forms Report
Would it be possible to add a date range or school year parameter to the Section 504 Custom Forms Report so that when campus staff print the forms entered they can filter for current school year or at least a date range that falls within the school year?
Campus staff print the "ARD" packet for students annually to hand out to parents but the current functionality of the Section 504 Custom Forms report prints all custom form records regardless or school year. TREX Validation notification
Please add a pop up notice or tab that will show that there is a validation error with the proposed file in the maintain area. The TREX report shows it at the end but that means we have to run that report each time. If a notification or tab showed in the modify area it could be resolved without running the report. Many times campus users especially at the beginning of the year are trying to fulfill many requests and they skip the step of running the TREX report only to get their file rejected by the state. Addition of Term Selection to WS\OF\FS\SS\RE\MR
We would really like to be able to run the Students Missing Specific Courses/Subjects report by specifying one or more terms rather than being locked into the full school year. For example we wanted to quickly produce a list of students who were missing only math courses for Semester 2. Since term selection is not available for this report we were not able to produce any reports of value. Add Family access credentials to Auto-email
Would like the ability to create an auto-email to the guardians of a student that includes the link to get their Family Access login and password set up that is triggered when the NSOE application is approved.
1) the ability to manually send this email already exists on the family screen
2) there is an auto-email that triggers off of the NSOE approval but the set up does not include the FA credentials.

Discipline Officer: Only Show Active Staff as an option when entering incidents
Please add the option to only show ACTIVE staff when you choose a Discipline Officer in the Discipline entry screen.
Currently it shows both Active and Inactive.
The only option Skyward gives us it to select the configuration option "Only allow Staff marked as Discipline Officer to be assigned to an Offense/Action" but that means you have to manually check this box individually for each staff under the Designations....Designations: Disc Officer: Yes Teacher: Yes Substitute: No Counselor: No5 votes -

Send course credits to state, but not counted in Skyward (Bettering GPA use case)
It would be nice to have a way to send course credits to the state, but not have them counted twice in skyward. The use case is for students trying to better their GPA for a course. They take the course again and this needs reported to the state, but you do not want the credits doubled up in Skyward. So when you enter a "Variable Credit" on a historical course for 0.0 credits, you get errors from the IDOE saying you are required to send them credits. Maybe a flag or something could tell skyward not to internally count…

Change the default on the Mass Post Grade Change Request to EXCLUDE dropped students
When using the Allow Teachers to Make Grade Change Request to Closed Grading Periods when the request are being processed under EA+>Gradebook>Secondary>Grade Posting Administration>Teacher Requests for changes to Previously Posted Grades>Mass Post Grade Changes>the default is to Post Grades for Dropped Students. 99% of the time you would not want to do this and if they don't select the option at the top to "Exclude Dropped Students from Mass Posting grades get posted that should not and this can easily be missed causing students to get credits for classes/grades that they should not get. ADA/FTE report title and column headers
We would like to have the ability to have the template title appear on each page of the ADA/FTE Report instead of just on the initial parameters page. Furthermore, we would like the Reporting Period: # parameter descriptor to appear under the Semester 1 or Semester 2 column header so that it is clear what reporting periods are included. Having just Semester 1 or 2 is very misleading for staff who only look at the district or campus pages. And example of the report is attached.

Parent approval for student requested courses via Family Access
When a student enters their course requests, to have it go to the parent in family access for approval, before it goes to the school. Instead of having to print the course request sheet and send home for signature, allow the parents to sign in and approve the course requests via Family Access.

District to District request multiple students via processing list or range by school code
When using district to district, it would be very helpful to be able to pull in demographic and family information from our local districts for multiple students attending our Career Center. The ability to use a processing list or select a range by school code to request multiple students at once would be extremely beneficial.

Add Utility to Mass Add Alternate Teachers
Would be nice to have the ability to Mass Add Alternate Teachers to several sections of a course at a time. We need to add alternates for Title Classes so teachers are able to see student information for Acadience and other software, so to be able to add one teacher to a large group of course sections would be ideal.

Transportation
It would be nice to have the function to MASS add/update Transport records based on Transportation category. Right now we can only MASS end records but need to manually touch everyone to add back in. Example add new record for walkers 00 with x date. OR have the ability to only end records for example Transportation category "riders". The all or nothing category is not the best way to manage these records.

Sticky Notes
It would be extremely beneficial (almost critical at times) to have a "sticky note" option in Students - Students Profile. Have an icon that resembles a notepad / sticky note pad that would allow you to create a personal individualized "note" on a selected students profile. The note would be only for you to see and is not part of the student record. The note would only be linked to one student. The note instantly opens every time you enter that students profile, until you decide to delete it. You can also add or delete the text in the open…

Unrecorded Class Attendance Sort by Teacher Option
Unrecorded Class Attendance can only be sorted by date. At the end of the year, in order to print a report by teacher (for principals), you must take it out to Excel and fill in every line with the date and day for every day in the school year. Otherwise, there is no option to sort by teacher. Either adding the option o sort by teacher or adding the date to every entry would resolve.
