Please consider adding the ability to filter and add stage information in the Verification Area for Online Registration. WS\FA\FM\OR\VS Currently, we have three different spreadsheets to track not having proof of residency, needing specific proof of residency or under review due to alternate proof of residency. The ability to track all information in Skyward would be helpful.

Could the class period be seen on the section details? You always have to do all the drop downs to find the right period.
Could the period be visible on the section detail? A pain to always have to drop down each section. WS/OF/CS/BC/CM/CM

Identity Field and Data Mining
Adding the Identity area is very helpful, however, Data Mining will not allow you to create a report to only export students with entries in the Identity field. The only way it exports is for all students and then you have to compare line by line to find the students that have a different legal name than what their profile name (preferred name) is.

Teacher Scheduling Report
It would be great if the Teacher Schedules Report (WS/OF/FS/RE/TS) would print the teacher type on the report. Is the Teacher an Alternate or a Primary on the section meet. Also, it would be great if the report template allowed you to select which teacher type to include Primary , Alternate or Both. For example, you may only want to print the report to view courses where the teacher is set as the primary teacher but not include the Alternates.

NSOE add special education and 504 accommodations fields for parents to populate. It doesn't have to be all fields just those to alert office they need to pass on to special education

Add a utility or configuration setting to enable Display Other Name Field in the Teacher Gradebook
It would be helpful to have a mass add utility or a configuration option to automatically enable the Display Other Name (when available) in Teacher Gradebooks instead of the first name and middle initial. This would ensure every teacher would see/use the Other Name field if it is populated.

Preferred name available in Point of Sales System.
We have transgender students that come through the lunch line. It is quite confusing and embaressing when a student comes through the line that has not legally changed their name yet. We need a be able to have a better system than using the critical wanding messages that we use for food allergies.

Add new field to Data Mining
There is a new field that was added to Skyward that is not available in Data Mining. The field is on the E/W screen - Exclude from EOYA. I need to see how many of our students are not marked before we do the state upload but because this field is not available from Data Mining, I cannot get what I need.

Automated email for demographic changes
We would like to see the option added for automated emails for demographic changes which would include changes of the following:
Date of Birth
Gender
Social Security Number
Ethnicity

Grade Level Visible When Posting Grades
Our school posts grades for seniors days before posting for the rest of the school. While you can change the display options in the gradebook to see a student's grade level, once you go in to post grades, the grade level is no longer visible. It would be great if it would carry over so then teachers would know which students are seniors and who they have to post grades for.

Add the ability to filter on special codes in the gradebook progress reports or missing assignment reports
I have several teachers that have requested a way to track late assignments. They use a special code of Late for this but there is no way to print a report for only students with late assignments. They would like this for RTI purposes .

Virtual - Courses with Students in Multiple Entities
Due to the pandemic we have now added virtual teachers, students and classes. Providing a virtual teacher at each building and each grade level is not economically feasible, due to the number of enrolled virtual students. Creating a new virtual entity is not an option due to state accountability.
This year’s solution for virtual teachers was to enroll them as a staff member in each entity. Classes were created with the virtual teacher and virtual students. Each of our virtual teachers have multiple gradebooks in each entity. For example, a teacher with five core classes at each of our six…

New Student Online Enrollment allowing a existing guardian to edit their address
New Student Online Enrollment Application allow existing guardians to update their address.
When a guardian is bringing their child/children back into the district since the guardian is already in the system they can't update their address which has almost always changed. It would be very helpful if they could change their address on the application.7 votes -

Selected Grades Report: add Student email and parent email address fields.
Would like to have Student emaill address and parent email address to the Selected grades report to make it easier to identity who to contact when we run the report. We run this for a D/F list and then contact the parent.

Fee Management - Ability to Reverse Charge if paid via web/vendor
Currently, if a parent pays for a fee/charge using our online vender/wep payment, we lose the ability to reverse the charge and have to use an Arrears code to document the refund. It would be a lot easier if we could still just do a "reverse charge" and process the refund record for fees paid online like we can for fees that were paid with cash/check.

MOI on attendance field
Can you put "Method of Instruction" on the Today's Attendance field for each student, so you can see, if the student is absent, what MOI they are instead of having to go to their profile page?

Expired Password Reset
It would be very helpful if the utility to Mass Generate Family Permissions/Passwords (WS\FA\FM\PS\UT\PP) would include the option to only reset expired passwords.
We send out letters yearly to families regarding their accounts then weekly as new students register through the school year. In this letter we include the initial login and password (blank if the parent already changed). A number of parent accounts have expired passwords since elementaries typically hadn't logged in much, but with virtual schooling we have a lot more parents trying to log in.7 votes
