Adding Test Accommodations to all Tests
To have an option when entering in a student's test accommodation to apply the accommodation to all tests. Currently our staff has to create an accommodation for each test the student has to take. We have found that if a student needs an accommodation for one test than usually that student needs that same accommodation for other tests as well. Having an option when creating an accommodation to Apply to all tests would provide our staff with significant time savings.A check box for when creating a accommodation that can be applied to all tests.

Multiple dates in same year for Medicaid consent
At the Spring User Group a request was made to change the Medicaid Billing Consent screen so that more than one consent can be entered in the same year. The use cases given for needing multiple consent dates were split household and both parents sign consent change in legal guardianship new signature required. We also have students who change resident districts during the school year but their attendance stays with us (CDEB school). We are required to have a new M5 signed since the form is specifically tied to a district of residence. I cannot enter the updated consent date…

Update customer cafe in Food Service when student changes entities
When a student changes entities, their customer record is not updating their Food Service default cafeteria. When their name is entered at the POS of their new entity, a warning appears that they are not active at the new entity. This also causes reporting issues.

Missing Assignment Report Printing Per Student
When you go to print a missing assignment report, in Gradebook Reports, it groups the student together (printing on one sheet). We would like the ability to print this report per student so that each student is on it's own page through the gradebook reports. Currently you can only print one student at a time if you go to each individual student and go to their student options and missing assignments. This is a huge waste of time.

Add Discipline/Attendance Graphs in Skyport
We would like the ability to create widgets using both Discipline and Attendance graphs within Skyport. Configuring these two areas to function just like Test Score Analysis where there is a Skyport Settings button within the report would be ideal.
The addition of these features would give us a more robust data dashboard via widgets whereas right now, we are limited to test score analysis.

Do not show periods on class schedule
We'd like to add the option not to display periods on schedules (just like the option to not display teacher names or room numbers). All 3 pieces of info can cause issues with students when we have to make schedule changes over the summer. We want to be able to show families which courses have been scheduled with no other information about the courses until close to the start of school.
The expected outcome is a check box to "do not show period on class" option on the Family Access schedule entity configuration screen.14 votes -

I have been asked to make a request that a discipline referral be added to the transportation portal so bus drivers can submit misbehavior on the bus and the principals can pull it out of the program or will get an email to notify them of the referral.

Student Language Needs to be Under LEP Tab
Currently users with demographics access have all-or-nothing edit access to the Student Profile sub-tab under General if you provide them with security access to do so. The problem in TX is that only specific staff should be maintaining the Language field for a student. Because TX collects Home Language as part of enrolling a student it's imperative that not just anyone changes this field without referring to the Home Language form we collect the data on (state form). Periods set up to be alpha-numeric
In order to allow more flexibility and clarity we would like to see the period set up changed to be alpha-numeric. We would like the ability to name periods B01 or R01 which gives more flexibility in naming the period. This will help us with the flexibility of our Friday schedule which has all the B day and R day classes meeting. This would allow Friday to be: B01 R01 B02 R02 B03 R03 B04 R04 instead of periods 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 which has no reference to the order that the classes will meet in…

Report to list which guardians have opted in
Would like a report to list which guardians have opted in using the new feature "Receive Health Office Visit Notifications". A simple report perhaps with limits by entity and by date to list all who have opted in or all who have not opted in. Export to excel or print. Sort options by date by guardian name by entity by student name. Checkboxes on the report to show which delivery method they've selected (email fam access both)

Custom Student Schedule
It would be great if we could create a custom student schedule template like we can for transcripts & report cards. We find that the standard template is a little clunky (and has an "old school" dot-matrix look to it) and has somethings we don't need/want to print on the schedule and doesn't have other things we would want on the schedule. If we could create our own custom template we could design it to suit our needs. The student schedules that we had in the old PaC system look a lot nicer & have a little more customization available…

Add Student Grad/Grad Year to Report
Our Principals rely heavily on the Chronic Attendance Report. It would be very helpful for this report to include student grade level/grad year and/or the ability to sort by grade/grad year. It would also be helpful if a range of percentages could be entered and only those students print. I currently have to print it for each grade level put it in Excel and delete the students with less than 10% absent.

CARRY OVER COURSE MASTER CHANGES TO NY COURSE MASTER
We create NY courses in December, then if we make DOE/DEX necessary changes to CY, we need a button to also add to NY course master OR the ability to only clone courses to NY by individual course!

A section to add records request sent and records received.
A spot to add a date when a records request was sent and when records were received and a spot to date when student records were sent out to the newly attending school. Possibly under the entry/withdrawal tab.

Mass Change ISBE State Course Codes for 2023-24 school year
ISBE is removing all the prior to secondary - 51 course codes for the 2023 - 2024 school year. It would be very helpful if Skyward could create a mass change feature for the course codes with the ISBE crosswalks to save districts a lot of time.

PIMS student template: Special Ed Status N if IEP out of compliance
The checkbox that allows expired IEP students to load to the special ed snapshot does not help the Student Template. If this functionality existed for the student template for students that do not have an active iep and cross-checked with an exit, it would eliminate a large amount of time deleting tons of students, especially when districts conduct ieps in the same month district-wide.

Add the ability for custom district report cards to be emailed along with the option to be posted to portfolio.
We still print and mail report cards home, it would save us a great deal of time and money if we had the ability to send the report cards to email, allow us to select Home email and family 1 or 2 Guardian email addresses. Give us the option to send Via email and/or post to portfolio.
