In order to allow more flexibility and clarity we would like to see the period set up changed to be alpha-numeric. We would like the ability to name periods B01 or R01 which gives more flexibility in naming the period. This will help us with the flexibility of our Friday schedule which has all the B day and R day classes meeting. This would allow Friday to be: B01 R01 B02 R02 B03 R03 B04 R04 instead of periods 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 which has no reference to the order that the classes will meet in relationship to the B/R days. This would make the Friday schedule more clear/less confusing for our students and their parents staff and administration.

With this ability to name periods alpha-numerically we could name Black day classes B01 B02 B03 B04. Red day classes would be R01 R02 R03 and R04. Then the Friday classes would be set up: B01 R01 B02 R02 B03 R03 B04 R04. Students would be able to quickly see that order that the classes are following from the Black/Red classes.
