Increase Field length for Student Names
With student names becoming increasingly longer and tied to so much testing, it would be nice to have the field length increased especially for middle and last names. Our district uses on-line enrollment and enters the full legal name (including middle) so that matching is easier to identify students without duplication, especially for or high mobility students. The length issue has primarily been with middle and last names (especially those that have 2 last names)

We recommend that you use the Legal Name fields for those students whose names do not fit in the standard name fields. These legal names can be sent via state reporting.

Student Indicators for Attendance
This is a joint rfe from Amarillo and Birdville. We would like to be able to have the option to set student indicator(s) based on student attendance. Our districts are having to watch our student's attendance and it would be extremely helpful if we were able to have a student indicator that each district would be able to customize. Our idea is have a nightly job that runs as a scheduled tasks that would set a flag for all students who met the criteria set in the nightly job. Programs to Disallow Withdrawal/Re-entry
We would like to request the Title I Participation be listed as a program in the "Programs to Disallow Withdrawal/Re-entry" area of Entry/Withdrawal settings. Other programs that are already included in this area are At-Risk Busing Special Ed LEP Homeless and several others.

Change where transcripts sent to a free form text
To make the work easier for our school registrars. This transcript sent option is used anytime the transcript is sent even to another high school and not just colleges. So instead of the registrar searching for the school and/or creating a new code they could just type in where the transcript was sent
What we would want is to replace the school codes box and just make that a 40 (or whatever amount) character comment field with the date stamp still attached.48 votes -
Add special programs View to student browse
Would like to be able to view special program data in student browse. This would be a great tool for creating reports and processing list for all areas under special programs. It would also be great to be able to create filters to share with administrators and counselors to quickly access student program data and create charts to view trends and access the data.

Add option to run Mass Change Lunch Codes by processing list
Would like the option to mass change lunch codes by processing list. (WS\ST\PS\UT\LC)
This would be very helpful for schools that are CEP/SSO and use a local socioeconomic form to determine economic disadvantage status. Processing list can be created from these forms to identify and code students that qualify as economic disadvantaged. These processing list could be used to mass change lunch codes.45 votes -

Activity Lists from Processing Lists
We should be able to use a processing list to load students into activities. Currently the most efficient way to load students in mass into an activity is to create a fake class (and section) use the mass request utility to load the students into the fake class use the fake class to add students to the activity then remove the students from the fake class and delete the fake class and section. It would be way easier if we could use processing lists to load students into activities.

Mass Add Process List to Activity
Please consider adding Mass Add Student's to Activity by Process List. We use custom forms to sign our students up for sports/clubs and are able to run these student's to a process list from there. Some sports/clubs have hundreds of student's sign up. This would enable our staff to mass add them to the activity instead of manually selecting each student which is very time consuming.
This would streamline the process of updating activities. We believe if you added the Process List capabilities most districts would take advantage of it ending in saving hours of staff time.32 votes -
Preview Needed
Both the Student Mass Change and especially the Student Mass Delete (and maybe others) need some form of a preview.
I ran the Student Mass Delete utility in Report mode to verity that the proper number of students would get deleted. As you know when the utility runs it doesn't save the template. When I ran it the second time in Report and Report & Delete mode I didn't run it against the same range and ended up deleting all students from the entity.

Re-routing Attachments to Enrollment
Good Morning! I am requesting that we make it possible for certain Attachments (under Portfolio) to be re-routed to the Enrollment tab under Student Profile. When parents go to upload their residency documentation under their Family Access it routes both documents to the Attachments tab instead of the enrollment tab where it really should go. We'd like to keep our attachments tab solely for report cards to keep everything organized. Right now when we have a parent come to us in person we upload the documents ourselves to the Enrollment tab; we would like to keep it consistent and have…

Online Registration Set Up-Student Information
Please add an option to Auto-approve the Home Phone under student information. I don't think it makes sense that the parent can have a name change auto-approve, but the home phone cannot.
We would never want anyone to change the child's name, but do not mind them changing the home phone.

Email Guardians Button
Please add a button with exact functionality as "Email Teachers" only to "Email Guardians". Right now there's no way to email all the guardians in a family or to choose from amongst available guardians. User has to click the link write an email; click the link write another email etc.. Other possibility is to cc the other parent--but this requires switching back and forth through windows plus a copy and paste and errors are possible. If the attached screen had an Email Guardians button it would be so helpful!

Add Utility to Mass Add Entry Withdrawal Records
Students change grade levels throughout the school year at many at-risk campuses. Currently the process for entering a status change must be done on an individual student level. Adding a utility to withdraw as a status change and create a new entry from a processing list (or selecting individual students) would streamline this process.
The ability to complete a status change withdrawal and new entry record for all grade level advancements during the school year.

We would like to see if Other ID for each student could be added to the choice of students when adding a student to the Activity. As we have many students with the exact same name. This would make it much easier.

Add an attachment file to the LEP/Bil/ESL Special Programs Tab.
Adding an attachment file to the LEP/Bil/ESL Special Programs Tab would allow us to add LPAC documentation and other info so teachers could pull up information without having to request it from the office or ESL Coordinator. It would save time and effort in our classrooms which in turn would benefit students.

"Interpreter Needed" checkbox on Profile
Checkbox for "Interpreter needed" on Profile Tab. We currently have a custom form to indicate when a student's family needs an interpreter for conferences. It would be extremely helpful to have an indicator in General Information that would be quickly accessible when phone communication is required.

All Health Conditions Report
We have a concern regarding the All Health Condition Report. We need a document that we can quickly generate to send with EMS personnel when a student is being transported to the hospital. The All Health Conditions report would work if there was guardian/parent information that would also be an option to report. Our form must contain Student Info Guardian/Parent Info Health Conditions Medications.

Add IBC Vendor to Mass Add Special Programs Utility
Add IBC Vendor field to the Mass Add Special Programs for Post Secondary Certification. The IBC Vendor field is a required field and is usually the same for each certification within each district.
