NSOE change field name of SSN to Student's SSN
Could you change the field Social Security Number to Student's Social Security Number? It's right under Mom's Maiden Name and often our parents enter their SSN instead of the student's SSN. That would help with confusion.

Method of Instruction Report For Teachers
Teachers need to be able to print a report that displays a student's Method of Instruction. Maybe just add Method of Instruction on the Class Roster report?

Create an online assignment in EA+ that can update attendance automatically
We need a quick and easy way for teachers in remote learning to take attendance. If we had the ability to create online assignments that updated attendance in the teacher gradebook automatically, it would save so much time. We could use a special code for this purpose so teachers could tell if the student has attendance by submission of an assignment vs. teacher manually taking attendance.

Selected Grades Report: add Student email and parent email address fields.
Would like to have Student emaill address and parent email address to the Selected grades report to make it easier to identity who to contact when we run the report. We run this for a D/F list and then contact the parent.

It would be beneficial to have the ability to get an auto email or some kind of alert if a student is present the 1st period of the day and then is marked absent the next period.

Current Scheduling Start Date
If a student RE-enrolls the same school year, we would like the START DATE on the student's currently scheduling profile to change to the new re-enrolled date. Example: Student entry 9/8, withdraws 10/2, RE-enrolls 11/5. The START DATE still shows 9/8. We want it to say 11/5.

Method of Instruction - Start/End Dates
We are using the Method of Instruction as a way to keep our teachers updated on a daily basis when students are going to be in-person or virtual, as it is fluid with students staying home due to illnesses. For students staying home one day, we want to be able to put the start and end date in for today (for example) for virtual, and assign in-person for the next day. However when we do this, it removes the Method of Instruction for today.

Allow Message center to send to specific Student Groups
Due to COVID reasons many different groups of students are in one classroom. Group A on different days than Group B but still in the same course. It would be nice if the teacher had the ability, if they setup student groups, to send to just those student groups.
Add an option under send to multiple classes to change to send to students if they are setup. This will then show a list of all the different groups along with the class they are in.13 votes -
Please, please, please could you link MOI to Attendance?
It would be the best way to track the dates that students are in and out of the building for remote learning, quarantine, and in-person. It would also be nice if the MOI would default to in-person. So if they went out on quarantine and the dates were pre entered, they would automatically go back to in-person when the dates were ended and they came back from quarantine. Currently tracking the dates for students in and out status is very difficult. Especially for things like Indiana's FSSA EBT card requirements should they ask again.

Be able to view scheduled conferences under student profile
It would be great if a conference tab was added under student profile so that schools could see the scheduled conference without having to run a report or going to the staff table. Being able to schedule there would be helpful also.

Automated Emails for Failed Wellness Responses
It would be helpful to be able to setup automated emails that notify a particular staff member(s) when a failed Wellness Screening response is submitted, rather than always needing to login to Skyward and check the report.

Add a way for teachers to adjust the default for attendance
Currently, the gradebook attendance defaults to being present. Virtual teachers now have to mark students virtual each day to be counted present. It would be nice if teachers could change the default so they would all show virtual instead of present or have a way to mark all students at once so you don't have to click on each student individually. Thanks!!

IEP ACCOMMODATION FIELDS THAT CAN BE PULLED INTO REPORTS NEEDED FOR IEP FORMS
For several years every time we get ready for standardized testing, we have to manually go through IEP's because there is no way to pull the accommodations for each student that has an IEP or 504 plan. Within the IEP, we list the accommodations for testing, however that is not a field that can be data mined nor is it a field that named to pull on any other report.
It would be great to modify the IEP form to allow the fields to be pulled into reports and data mined, especially for accommodations for testing, but also for goals…

More filters on data mining to exclude
It would be nice if we could exclude with a click of the button. For example, if I want all my language minority students, then I could say "not like English" and I would get all the students with another language than English. It would be a very convenient and easy to understand feature. Thanks!

Message Center Attachment Size Limitation check BEFORE allowing user to save/send message
Currently if a message exceeds the attachment size limitation there is not an instant notification to the user in Message Center. The current setup allows the user to add large attachments that end up went saved try to process in the email queue for hours (we had an example of 6 hours) before failing and giving an error. In addition, the time that is spent for these messages to try and process and fail it is also holding up other messages from being sent with small or no attachments (until hours later). After some review, we have determined what we believe is causing Message Center email queues to error out due to attachment file sizes.
This is due to a user attaching more than one file to their email within Message Center with a total combined file size exceeding the allowed maximum for the district’s email client.
To help prevent this from happening, we will add the ability to set a maximum size limit for all attachments (“Total size limit for all Message Center Attachments for a given message”). This configuration will be located in the Maximum Attachment Size setup area (PS\SA\DM\DS).
