Critical Alert PopUp
Separate the Critical Alert into 2. One for the Student Profile and 1 for the Special Ed Profile. Right now every page our Student Services opens while in the sped tab causes the Critical Alert pop-up to show..

Add iPad Serial Number under Web Access
Student iPads are currently managed in a separate system and are not available for all that need the information to view. It would great to import the serial numbers from the iPad management system to the student's web access information.

Import Band Instruments in Skybuild

Add a delete utility tool to delete orphaned courses and sections. This is available in Qmaltiv but is needed in SMS.
Add a delete utility tool to delete orphaned courses and sections. This is available in Qmaltiv but is needed in SMS. We had a new staff member delete a course and because this utility tool is not available it continues to come up as a fatal for our Peims submissions.

Auto Delete Birth Certificate Attachments
As a part of WI Statewide General Records Retention, there are certain documents/attachments that we are not supposed to keep on file (like a birth certificate.)
We would still want parents to upload their attachments to their NSOE, but would like the ability to decide if a certain attachment type like "Lease" could get saved to portfolio, while an attachment type of "Birth Certificate" would NOT get saved to portfolio.1 vote -
KS - When exporting students for KIDS collection, add button to select by Processing List.
When submitting TEST records for ELL Kelpa testing, it would be handier, faster and less likely to skip or add wrong student if there is a Use Processing List button like so many other reports and processes. Right now, students can only be selected by grade level or individually. It takes a lot of time to enter 30+ records individually and they're not all in the same grade.

Space to add more than 5 locker combs
Space to add more locker combs. We have locks for lockers that have 7-8 combs. Currently Skyward only allows 5 combs to be entered so we have to skip the combs that we can not enter into the system.

Having the option when printing a student transcript to add any comments with the Award
I spent a great deal of time putting all of the student activities into the system for each student over the years that they participated in. WIth that I also added the individual awards for that activity. Within the award template there is a comment section, which I used for various things like 1st Place, 2nd Place, Gold, Silver, Bronze etc. But after doing all of that I realized that it isnt't an option in printing a students transcript to include that comment anywhere. It should be listed as an option to print on the transcript. Please consider adding this…

Latitude and Longitude
Is there way to get latitude and longitude for student addresses? We are wanting to see re-zoning would affect the schools in our district. Using latitude and longitude would allow us to attach students to those addresses and look at the over all picture such as discipline, attendance, and etc.

online form
We have created an Online Form for parents to fill out requesting a school transfer.
We have selected that Family 1 only have the option to update the form. When the Family 1 completes the online transfer request form, it sends an email to both guardians in Family 1.
Is there a way also have an email sent out to Family 2 (additional families) when Family 1 submits the transfer request online form?
When the custodial parents are not in the same Family, they would like the email go to both Family 1 and Family 2. It would also be…

Bus drivers writing referrals
We would like to enable bus drivers to write referrals within Skyward. However, we do not want them to have access to sensitive information, such as the Primary Guardian details or phone numbers. Currently, we cannot restrict this information from their view. We would like to propose an edit that allows us to customize the bus drivers' view accordingly.

Discipline Reports for IEP Students Only
Please add a IEP and 504 to the range options for running discpline reports. This will be useful for double checking state reporting (where only spec ed students are reported for certain actions) and other data analysis.

MCCC drop after this date should be sent to MCCC
I just found out that we are required to enter a date for when grades should be sent after a drop for MCCC. Since I have many course lengths for each school, it is very time-intensive to change these dates each year by hand. It would be very helpful to have a process with year-end to enter those dates like we do when entering calendar dates. Or a utility to mass assign that date for terms across calendars and entities like we do for attendance days/workshop days/vacation days. Something where it isn't an individual update.

RFE for 'Guidance' Note/Visit Attachments
The counselors love that they are able to add attachments here for others that have a 'need to know' could access. But this is NOT an option. The only way to see the attachment is if the other person has "edit' access and others should not be in edit mode under another individuals entry.
Please make the Attachment in Guidance Visit visible to other if needed.

Looking for an option in data mining to assist us with the legal first name vs the preferred name.
I worked on a service call 5946641 for our district and Skyward was unable to come up with a solution that would identify a difference in these names quickly. This information is needed for our building staff. Our nurse recently complained that she was unable to find a student due to this issue and expressed that this could escalate an emergency situation. I would like a report I could give to key building staff such as our administrators, secretaries, nurse, etc to let them know who the students are that have preferred names vs legal names and what they are.

Check Request Status Queue
In the IN Ed-Fi Request Individual IDs from API tool, when choosing check request status, could that be changed to a queue of requests from the user? It is difficult to check the request when the only option is to put in the ID #.
