Automatic email to parents to clear unexcused absences
It would be extremely helpful to have an automatic email go out to parents if an absence has not been excused within a week of their absence. I understand there is an email option parents can sign up for in Family Access but many of our parents don't use this.

Mass update KELPA tests by Program Participation Code-KANSAS St Reporting
It would be great if we could mass code by participation code in the Mass Update Assessments for KELPA testing. There are 2 different test codes depending on the Program Participation level and it's a pain to mass code all students with the same code and then have to adjust a few hundred students who need the other code even using a process list.

Create Ability to Automatically Generate Letters for Various Reasons
We would appreciate the ability to generate letters for various reasons that will work like the automated attendance letters. Being able to pull students for various demographic reasons would be ideal.

Security to allow user to Administer Medications without being able to Add additional medications
Our school nurses enter the medication in the Medication tab, but trained clerical and paras may administer the medication. Currently I cannot set security to allow a user to administer medication without allowing them access to add additional medication. We would like the ability to set security so only nurses can add, while trained users can administer.

Add RTI Interventions to Skybuild Export
We would like the ability to export student RTI information specifically interventions with Skybuild. This will allow a teacher to enter an intervention for a specific program in EA+ and then nightly the students will be exported and populated into those systems.

During rollover maintain the placements in IEP's and update the dates
The placements must be able to update the placements to the new year at rollover and update the date as the first day of school and the last day of the IEP or the last day of school. We have doing those one by one by hand. I am sure there is a utility, but was afraid to run the utility.

Electronic Application
Make the electronic Application less confusing when it comes to loading family members into the allowed spaces. Children in the top. Adults ONLY in the bottom. Do not allow them to duplicate names! Have an option to "add" more students. We have some families who are unable to submit it electronically due to having more kids in the household then spaces on form.
Make it so their errors are highlighted before they are allowed to move onto the next screen. Many do no see the errors listed at the top of the final page. I have tons of applications just…

Add options for the zip code
We now have more than one area by us where 1 zip code covers 2 municipality names. We are currently adding an A behind the number but that has caused issues with parents changing it during online registration and now being incorrect. Can we have 1 zip code have more than one city attached to it so the parent and our staff can choose the correct city name attached.

Notes
Each year, after system rollover, each user has to enter gen notes > filter > make changes > apply. This must be done in order to view previous years notes. We use the notes sections for important information and it is very inconvenient for each staff member to have to perform this process.
Can an enhancement be created so that all notes roll with the system automatically for users to view without having to perform the above process?

Add option for second line to Student Profile Customize area
Add an option to add a second line to the Customize area of the student Profile area. As SMS 2.0 has matured, additional fields have been added to this area, but the amount of space available to display these fields has never been expanded. The ability to add a second line would allow users to display more information in this area.

We can do so for custodial and pickup, but not for the report card stuff.
We spend lots of time double checking why someone didn't get a mailing or a report card due to a box being left unchecked by accident.

Creating a Teacher Aide (TA) button to add a student to a section roster as a TA w/o having to create a new TA section
Creating TA specific sections of a course allows us to keep track of specific TA sections of a course for attendance, reports, etc. However it causes us to have many sections to have to be created for just one single student in this position, thus creating a large, unwieldy section master.
Could a TA button be added to scheduling so that any student enrolled in an existing section could be made a TA (shows on teacher roster as such and changes grading to P/F) by just clicking the button? We had this with a previous SIS that we used and…

Stop Ala Carte Purchase option enabled by parents on Skyward Family Access
This is a great option, however, the message is confusing in POS. Instead of saying " A Permanent Stop Purchase option is set for STUDENT NAME," can it read "A Permanent Stop Ala Carte Purchase option is set for STUDENT NAME?

Increase the Font size on the Vaccination Report for faxes
The font on the Vaccination Report needs to be larger so it is legible when faxed to other schools. Now it cannot be read in a fax because the font is too small. If necessary to accommodate a larger font, it can be made landscape instead of portrait.

Tardy Kiosk and In/Out minutes for state of IL
The check in times on the Tardy kiosk are not saved in the same place as the in/out minutes used for IL state ADA reporting. I know the state has changed lots of attendance requirements, but many districts are continuing with the ADA standards for attendance.
Since these are 2 different fields, it still requires staff to go into each student's record to input the check in time.
If there could be an option to have the tardy kiosk check in times tied to the in/out minutes for IL state reporting, I think more districts would use it.

NY registration and NY Grad Year Fee's
When registering for NY, within the CY, the system should look at which year the application is being processed and apply those grad year fee's. Currently, the system only looks at the CY grad year fee's, which are different for our NY fee's, and applies CY grad year fee's for an application that has been approved for NY.

Add Comments Field to Attendance in Secondary GB
Add a "Comments Field" in Attendance in the Secondary Gradebook so that when a teacher entered attendance they could also enter a comment next to that field to indicate the time a student actually arrived in class and there would be a record of it. This would help to hold kids accountable for when they arrive to class and also show a pattern for tardiness or absences.

Capability to give teachers access in their gradebooks to Physicals tab in Student Profile
It would be extremely helpful if teachers could have the capability of having access to the Physicals tab in Student Profile from their gradebooks. This would be so coaches could have access to their scanned physicals. We know this is already an option for the Student Portfolio, but the problem is that we have scans in this area that they cannot legally see due to FERPA and HIPAA.
