  1. Email Failed Notification User Specific- Message Center

    It would be very helpful if users could receive a notification if their email failed to send. Or users could see the status (pending, sent, error) of their specific email being sent in Message Center. Currently, there is only a district wide configuration which will send an email notification when any email fails to send. It would be helpful if users could see when their specific email failed so they do not have to wait on sysadmin or question whether the email went out successfully.

  2. offer the availability to have more that one staff member receiving the notification on when a parent submits an Online Registration .

    offer the availability to have more that one staff member receiving the notification on when a parent submits an Online Registration. This way if one person is out then there is a back up, and there would be no holdup when when registering.

  4. message center staff groups

    It would be great have the ability to create groups of staff That could be selected to include with messages. Right now it involves adding all staff using additional recipients. That is cumbersome and prone to forgetting someone.

  5. Add an Attachments Section to the Identity Tab

    It would be helpful if there was an attachment section in the Identity tab. This way, we could digitally store a scholar's birth certificate (which would display their legal name) somewhere more secure from other staff roles.

  7. student indicators for pref pronouns and preferred name

    Teachers/office staff would like to have an indicator for preferred pronouns. With the coming for ed-fi and needing to record it on the identity tab it would be helpful to have that area listed under the student indicators. Right now I do use it under student categories but I don't want to enter the info in two places. While in the same area it would also help if the preferred name was include in the indicators. We are having a hard time keeping track of students preferred names with their legal names when comparing state reports and info from other…

  8. Blank-out Student Search

    It would be beneficial to have the student fields blank-out when an attempt to search for a student using the Student Search yields no results. Currently the first alpha student in the system and their associated data displays. If a user is not paying attention, which can and does occur frequently in a large district, an incorrect student is updated.

  9. Add option to “Link Industry Cert ID to course 0000000” to the “Mass Change Class Roll Worksheet Data” utility template

    It will be very helpful to have the option to “Link Industry Cert ID to course 0000000” added to the “Mass Change Class Roll Worksheet Data” utility template. We use the “Mass Change Class Roll Worksheet Data” utility to mass populate the Industry Certifications/Digital Tools with an “F” Fail outcome using a processing list. The “Link Industry Cert ID to course 0000000” option is already available in the Career/Tech Ed>Industry Certs when adding Digital Tool records manually for the elementary grades.   10. Legal Name and Full Preferred Name

    Expanding name fields to accommodate more characters is essential. At the same time, it would also be important to add a prefered full name option for gender identity preferences so that schools have an option to "show" the preferred name in educator access plus, family and student access. This would allow options for legal name printing on transcripts and other official documents AND sensitivity for gender identity.

  11. Custom Forms

    Hello: When creating fields for custom forms, it would be extremely helpful if there could be a warning or a pop-up stating that the data you have entered for this field has exceeded the Max Allowed Characters so that it could be corrected right away. What happens is that we don't know that the Max Characters have been exceeded until the form is active in FA or SA and we get hundreds of phone calls telling us that they couldn't complete the form because Max Characters have been exceeded.

  12. Determining Official Electronic Signature

    Our state food service department requires that we be able to show that applications were correctly determined, the date of the determination and the signature of the determining official. It would be very convenient if this were available in Skyward so we would not have to print out each application. In a district of almost 8000 students that's a lot of applications!

  13. Print Online Applications on 2 Pages instead of 3.

    We have to print out online applications for auditors, food service people, etc. The print area is set so that it prints 3 pages and takes a lot of space in notebooks, additional paper, etc. We would like to see the print area reformatted so that it would print on 2 pages (or one page front and back). It looks like it would be simple to remove the page break prior to Step 4 and include it on page 1. Thank you!

  14. Attendance comment report

    The Attendance Comment Report is used by our elementary school. But instead of homeroom number, it would be more helpful to have homeroom teacher and student grade on this report. The sort by Date/Student doesn't even have HR number. We would love for HR teacher and grade level to be a choice on this report.

  15. A module that would allow schools to print ID cards using a created template.

    The ability to upload a created template into Skyward where we can print student ID's (including creating a bar code).

    Unless there is already the ability that I do not know about.

  16. Message Center Individual Email

    In the virtual world we currently now all live in we have found a need to be able to complete mail merge letters with select information that just applies to that individual and we then want to be able to send this information via email to students and/or guardians. Like a process where I can pick students I want and attach a document that only applies to them and send it to them individually from a list. EX: Class list that would supply individual students with their login information and password for a project specific to them

  17. Add a checkbox that could be unchecked if the alternate teacher should not be reported on the DOE-CP.

    We have to add staff as an alternate teacher on a class meet for various reasons: para responsible for taking attendance, substitute teachers who need access to digital resources, other staff members and/or teachers needing access to digital resources. When pulling data for the DOE-Certified Positions, all staff members who are added to the meet appear on the report. A checkbox that could be unchecked when the staff member or teacher should not be pulled on the CP would prevent them from appearing on the report and prevent all the "missing responsibility code" errors that appear on the DOE-CP report.…

    We currently use the automated emails for new fees by bill code. The problem is that we cannot configure what the emails say by entity. It would be great if you can configure this by entity and not district wide only.

  19. Data mine assignments synced from LMS

    Currently, you can only data mine information about online assignments built in Skyward—not assignments that are synced over from an LMS such as Canvas. Our district needs the ability to generate an Excel report of listing all students' assignment scores and submission dates. I appreciate you can generate assignment detail and progress reports that list assignments reports via Educator Access Plus, but the print format is not usable.

  20. Add FS Application and all other options to NSOE the same as they are available in Online Registration

    Add FS Application and all other options available in Online Registration to NSOE

    It would make so much more sense and save so much time and extra hassle for parents and staff to have the same options available for new students enrolling in the district as the students that e-enroll each year.

    Once we have a parent registering their new student(s) we want them to be able to do everything needed to register at that time. We may not get the parent to go back on and complete the rest of the registration process which includes important steps such as…
