Change History
Under Student we have the change history button could you add the Special education addition/changes to that field also so we can see who is changing the information?

Ability to change "Online Forms" label in Family/Student Access
We use our Online Forms for our Co-Curricular and Athletic forms that students have to complete each year. Student's and Parents get confused and either fill out the Online Forms instead of the Online Registration or they complain that they can't find the forms. If we had the ability to rename this label in Family/Student Access like we can for Online Registration and New Student Online Enrollment I think it would be less confusing for parents/students.

Elementary A/B Honor Roll Report
Elementary does not use GPA. It would be great if there was a report showing which students have all A's or B's in the core subjects (could prompt for course #'s?). Using the selected grades report now, but if the student has 1 A in 1 subject he will appear on the report and that would not qualify him as a A or B honor roll student.

Deleting data from custom forms.
We need a utility that deletes data from all Custom Forms for every new school year instead of cloning the custom forms. Cloning a custom form can break any process that feeds from these forms.

Capability to give teachers access in their gradebooks to Physicals tab in Student Profile
It would be extremely helpful if teachers could have the capability of having access to the Physicals tab in Student Profile from their gradebooks. This would be so coaches could have access to their scanned physicals. We know this is already an option for the Student Portfolio, but the problem is that we have scans in this area that they cannot legally see due to FERPA and HIPAA.

Educator Access Plus Secondary Gradebook Reports
It would be great if we could run the reports in educator access plus under the secondary gradebook for past years and not just the current year. If there is a question on a grade for the transcript on a previous year, we have to log in as the teacher to access it. And if the teacher left the district, we have to make them active, log in and then make them inactive.

It would be nice if the default scheduling transaction effective date in Skyward would populate as the next calendar day instead of the next scheduled day of school when dropping a student. Having it be the next scheduled day of school causes problems with SCAs and exiting a student. It seem counterintuitive for a user to have to change a date that Skyward autopopulates.

Please add the following to the Texas state specific fields to be updated area in the mass copy curriculum master information utility:

Voc Ed Contact Hours
College Credit HoursCurrently the only option is service id, but many times updates are needed with these other fields. This would assist districts with updating courses over multiple years (such as current & future) for multiple campuses.

Add Overwrite option for Tardy Kiosk under Absence Type Codes
Our time saved in writing passes and tracking late arrivals with the addition of the Tardy Kiosk has been significant. The time added by cleaning up excused absences that Kiosk has overridden has unfortunately replaced that saved time. We are having to review the entries several times a day.
Absence Type Codes currently have the config option to "Allow overwrite by Positive Attendance". Adding an option for "Do not allow overwrite by Tardy Kiosk" would allow us to mark our Excused and Exempt types, eliminating our constant review of entries.

Make Default Entity match Cafeteria
It would be helpful if the students default entity could match their cafeteria. with a school district of 6500 students, every time a student moves from one school to another, their cafeteria has to be manually changed. This is impossible to keep track of.

OneRoster export and OneRoster api student username options
Please add the ability to choose which field is sent in the OneRoster Export within Skybuild for the student's username and the ability to add a prefix to that field.
It currently exports the student's alphakey, but our district typically uses the student's other id for other software companies, since it doesn't change with a name change like the alphakey.
For some companies, we use a combination of the otherid and a letter/number combo such as D87 in front of the student id number.
Other districts use the student's state id number.

EMP - EMERGENCY ACTION PLAN Treatment Form
Hello:
Our District nurses have been reviewing IHPs in our database and they would like the ability to "streamline" medical steps necessary for treatment based on a student's health condition. Essentially they would like to have an Emergency Action Plan (EMP) Tab added, ideally, under the Emergency Tab in Skyward. This EMP would give specific straight forward steps for treating a student's medical condition. This would be a condensed straight forward approach for all staff member for treatment of a medical condition without having to read a lengthy technical IHP (Individual Health Plan). I would love for us to be able to include staff pictures on staff reports. We could use the report as a Staff Directory with pictures and contact info. The directory could be very helpful, especially to new staff.

Texas - Need a CTE 2 coherent sequence coding utility for students
Please create a Texas CTE student coherence sequence coding utility. Texas allows us to code students as a "2" if they have a 4 year plan to take a coherent sequence of 2 or more CTE courses for 3 or more credits and they are enrolled in or have completed a semester of courses that are part of their coherent sequence. All of these elements are easily identified in Skyward by looking at schedules, 4 year plans, endorsement pathways, courses, and credits. However, our CTE staff have to spend hours paging through 4 year plans to identify students.

Schedule to Inactivate a Security User & Staff
Our District would find it very helpful if we had the ability to schedule a date to Inactivate a Secured User and in addition the ability to add a date for making a staff member inactive. We often find a staff member is leaving the District but are given directions for specific dates to inactivate them as staff and as a secured user in both Skyward Student and Finance. It would be very helpful if a date to inactivate could be added within the secured user and staff areas of both Skyward Student and Finance.

Add Comments Field to Attendance in Secondary GB
Add a "Comments Field" in Attendance in the Secondary Gradebook so that when a teacher entered attendance they could also enter a comment next to that field to indicate the time a student actually arrived in class and there would be a record of it. This would help to hold kids accountable for when they arrive to class and also show a pattern for tardiness or absences.
