Prevent Duplicate MARSS numbers in the system
We would like skyward to block individuals from adding a student if the MARSS number is already assigned to someone in the system vs just sending a warning to not proceed. We have seen in increase in MARSS #'s duplicated on students. As well has duplicate profiles because this message is either being ignored or missed. This would be very helpful!

Customer Meal/Payor Balance Statements should be printed in student's home language
Customer Meal/Payor Balance Statements should be printed in student's home language. We are required to provide any documents submitted to families in a translated version if requested. At the very least, statements should be able to be translated to Spanish.

Scheduled Letters under Attendance Letters - Discipline
We would like the possibility to select whether the discipline entered for the student through the Scheduled Letters is an Offense or a Referral. We utilize this for tardies and once a student hits a certain amount of tardies no action is assigned and the Assistant Principal needs to call the student in. This should be categorized as a Referral and not an Offense since I'm not assigning an action.

Email Failed Notification User Specific- Message Center
It would be very helpful if users could receive a notification if their email failed to send. Or users could see the status (pending, sent, error) of their specific email being sent in Message Center. Currently, there is only a district wide configuration which will send an email notification when any email fails to send. It would be helpful if users could see when their specific email failed so they do not have to wait on sysadmin or question whether the email went out successfully.

Career Plans
Allow the ability to have the Course Key in the career plans to differentiate between S1 and S2 / regular, honors, or ap course, etc. Our course key tells us that information at a glance and would be helpful to have on the Career Plan screen.

Be able to take the comments in Google Classroom and add them to Skyward Gradebook.

AUTOMATED EMAILS FOR ATTENDANCE
Hello~
I would like to request to have an automated email trigger for attendance, so that we may notify parents when their student is tardy to school and/or absent.
Currently there is a trigger for Attendance Letters, which I am using. However, I would like to be able to notify parents when their child is tardy to school and copy an administrator as well. I do realize parents can opt to receive notice for attendance, but not all do, and this is another way to reach those parents.9 votes -
Mass assign obligations
Could there be a way to mass assign obligations to all students? For example, in order for them to see their new schedule, they first need to turn in Tech Forms for their computers and the parent needs to complete Family Access Updates.
Also, parents should be able to see obligations in Family Access, so they are aware of what the student needs to complete.2 votes -

We would like to have a quick filter on the Online Registration Approval area.
We have clerical staff approving some areas and nurses approving other areas, so it would be nice for them to be able to filter by Area.

Print Future Schedules to Sort by Class Period
Currently when printing future scheduling schedules the class sort is by the current year schedule. It would be very useful if the sort by class period would be from the future schedule, not the current schedule.

Custody Calendar
Blended 50/50 families should be attached to a custody calendar that follows according to the agreement and can be automated to switch Family 1 and 2, much like scheduling or scheduled tasks. The days that mom has the child-she's family 1. The days dad has the child, he's family 1. Busing, emergency contacts, and attendance (and possibly discipline) should be able to be tracked according to the custody calendar. This would provide valuable information for intermediaries to see where the student thrives.

Our district would like to see the At Risk tab expanded
I know this would be a programming request, but our Asst Superintendent wanted me to check and see if there was anything in the near future for adding the eligibility requirements for the K-12 KS At-Risk Program into Skyward? If there could be boxes that could be check marked as to why they qualify for this program, it would help tremendously with reporting of this and why the student(s) qualify. I have added a screenshot from the KIDS 23-24 Collection System File Specs.

family data mining by family
I need a data mine to list the F1G1, F2G1, and all students in the family on the same line. Currently, I would have to do a Vlookup or "remove duplicates" in Excel to get only one listing because it lists the whole family for each student with duplicate info. Unfortunately, it is an automated report that goes to Linkit so I need the report created so that it can go directly to them in the proper format for importing.

Adjusting Physical template and adding yes/no option instead of no option being to just leave it blank
Would like to have the option to check yes/no for lead and diabetes screening and add a spot to mark that the parent completed the parent portion of physical Instead of just leaving things blank if they are no. If it is left blank then we don't know if someone just forgot to complete the section/missed the information or if it was actually a no.

Assign Special Grade Mark Groups by Course Type
When mass assigning special grade mark groups, it can be done by Dept, Subject, Course or Teacher. It would be nice to do be able to do it by Course Type. We have our certain types of classes that should all be marked pass/fail, but we have to assign that grade mark group by student and can't mass assign it to all alternative classes.

Mass assign grade and mark as missing simultaneously for districts that do not give 0's
Is there any way for your developers to create an addition to the Mass Assign Options that includes a and mark as missing check box right next to the overwrite checkbox (or below it) so that when mass assigning it would auto populate the missing as well? To mass assign a score but also still tag it as missing.

Make the family registration not show complete unless the school approves it.
We have parents upload proof of residency in the registration process and they will upload anything to by pass it. I would like it to not show completion until we have seen the POR and approved it.9 votes
