family data mining by family
I need a data mine to list the F1G1, F2G1, and all students in the family on the same line. Currently, I would have to do a Vlookup or "remove duplicates" in Excel to get only one listing because it lists the whole family for each student with duplicate info. Unfortunately, it is an automated report that goes to Linkit so I need the report created so that it can go directly to them in the proper format for importing.

Adjusting Physical template and adding yes/no option instead of no option being to just leave it blank
Would like to have the option to check yes/no for lead and diabetes screening and add a spot to mark that the parent completed the parent portion of physical Instead of just leaving things blank if they are no. If it is left blank then we don't know if someone just forgot to complete the section/missed the information or if it was actually a no.

Assign Special Grade Mark Groups by Course Type
When mass assigning special grade mark groups, it can be done by Dept, Subject, Course or Teacher. It would be nice to do be able to do it by Course Type. We have our certain types of classes that should all be marked pass/fail, but we have to assign that grade mark group by student and can't mass assign it to all alternative classes.

Mass assign grade and mark as missing simultaneously for districts that do not give 0's
Is there any way for your developers to create an addition to the Mass Assign Options that includes a and mark as missing check box right next to the overwrite checkbox (or below it) so that when mass assigning it would auto populate the missing as well? To mass assign a score but also still tag it as missing.

Make the family registration not show complete unless the school approves it.
We have parents upload proof of residency in the registration process and they will upload anything to by pass it. I would like it to not show completion until we have seen the POR and approved it.9 votes -
teacher grade posting Report to include subject and skill grades
We are looking for a way to run a report for teachers who did not post Subject/skill grades for SBRC's. Currently we run data mining reports but that is very time consuming to go through since not all skills are graded each marking period.

Add Option to Mass Change Display On Student Schedules in Mass Change Course Master Fields Utilty
The option to mass change/update the display on student schedules checkbox under each meet would be a great option instead of having to go into each meet and uncheck this if we do not want to display the meet on student schedules.

Student identified as a TWIN flag
It would be nice to have a new field in SMS 2.0 or even better in Qmlativ that would be used to mark the student as a TWIN. I am seeing more and more names that are very similar, if not the same and has the middle name as the different name. Sometimes I cannot tell if two students named Zavion/Zavior, Everkeigh/Everleigh, Ruth Shamar/Ruth Thamar, Da'Mario/Da;Marion, or Aalanah/Aalayah are the same student with a mispelled name or actually twins.

New field in Skybuild Import
Illinois now requires the submission of community service hours. We use an outside vendor to gather this data and I would like to be able to Import it to Skyward using a csv file through Skybuild. A new field would need to be created in Skybuild Import in order to do so. Special Programs - Community Service hours

Special education forms should include names of all guardians
Fields should be added or updated to include all guardian names on all form templates that are sent to guardians. Currently only the names of the primary and secondary guardians (from families 1 & 2) are included. Occasionally there are more than two guardians for a student.

In the Fee Management Student Receipt, delete Tax Paid and add Date before Code.
To help clarify the fees to parents, the date of when the fee was added to their student's account should be visible on the student's receipt before the Bill Code. Since we do not charge student taxes, the Tax Paid column can be deleted.

District to District Transfer
Allow for parent/guardian email addresses to be imported as part of a district to district transfer.

Grades Tab/Family & Student Access - Consitent with Bolded / Not Bolded Grades
It would just make things less confusing if the Grades Tab and Family/Student Access were consistent with posted/non-posted grades. Currently, in the grades tab, posted grades are not bold and non-posted grades are green and bold. In family & student access, posted grades are black and bold and non-posted grades are not bold.

Add the ability for custom district report cards to be emailed along with the option to be posted to portfolio.
We still print and mail report cards home, it would save us a great deal of time and money if we had the ability to send the report cards to email, allow us to select Home email and family 1 or 2 Guardian email addresses. Give us the option to send Via email and/or post to portfolio.

Fee Management added to Skylert
We would like to see Fee Management added to the Skylert module in order to send out reminder notifications for families with outstanding enrollment fees much like the Food Service alerts work.

Please add an option to Emergency Information/Alert Information to be able to add the same alert for multiple students at one time. Would love to be able to use a processing list or a utility of some kind.

Mass Export Report Cards with a Custom Filename Format
In order to import or share student report cards into some of our other software, the vendors require the report card files to have the filename as either the student ID (Other ID) or student name (LastFirst), so it would be helpful to have these options when exporting from Skyward.

More functionality for displaying different student name
When in GradeBook allow the user to select if they want both the Identity(Legal) name and the Name, AKA field to appear on the screen and be able to do the same on the reports. Would like the Name, AKA to be in () after the Identity Name.
