Positive Attendance red "stop screen"
In Pocket PaC, if a student is scanned into the library, student resource center, etc., when they should actually be in their math class, you get a red "stop screen" that alerts the staff scanning the student's ID that the student should be in class at that time. Positive Attendance doesn't have this feature so those scanning students into a location aren't made aware that the student should be in class. Staff cannot check every student's schedule to verify whether a student should be allowed entry into the location when they have a line of students at the door.

Food service balance scan
Is there a way that a student could scan their ID (like a price check at a grocery store) and see their current food service balance? I realize Families and students can see this in the Skyward Family Access app. This option would be made available to students as they start to walk through the line to check their current balance, and see what type of purchase they can make.

Add non-cte industry credentials/work-based experiences to the transcript
Currently, you can only add the Career/Tech Ed industry credentials and work-based credentials to the transcript. We are required, in PA, to add the non-cte industry credentials and work-based experiences to the transcript, especially since it directly affects the pathway to graduation.

It would be great to be able to have the option of printing the student barcodes on their schedules.

Ability for parents to attachment documents such as Doctors Notes to Absence Request, or updated shot records to Health Info
It would be nice for the parents to have the ability to attach/upload documents into the Family Access center. The documents would then be attached to the student and stored in Skyward instead of microfiche.

District option for student indicators
We have many student indicators that are district wide. It would be helpful if you could add the indicator from 000 and it would be a district indicator and if you added the indicator from an entity it would be entity specific.

Add School Day in Two Places
At menu path: WS\ST\TB\SC\CS\SI\ST, view all transaction, having the school day, the number of the day progressing through the school year, would be very helpful for certain departments and their meetings. This menu path is used by the guidance office and goes into an annual effort, by the teachers and guidance office, to track what percentage of the school year a teacher taught a student. These transactions look to be a snap shot in time and being able to see a school day number associated with the calendar day would greatly reduce manual efforts, increase accuracy, and automate several processes.

family data mining by family
I need a data mine to list the F1G1, F2G1, and all students in the family on the same line. Currently, I would have to do a Vlookup or "remove duplicates" in Excel to get only one listing because it lists the whole family for each student with duplicate info. Unfortunately, it is an automated report that goes to Linkit so I need the report created so that it can go directly to them in the proper format for importing.

Adding a Misc subset category to choose for Student Indicators.
We are using the Misc tab under Special Programs to indicate different categories for student observation. Using this we would like to have indicators show for students.
I was trying this out in our training database and was able to add in an indicator for Supplemental Accelerated Instruction with a green 4 and Safe Team Review with a purple 1. However, it gave a student both indicators as represented in the attached pictures even if they only had one of the categories.
When using the Activity Indicator I can select differnt ones to where I could add multiple different indicators…

Adding "All Area Access Login / Web Login / Mobile Login as a user to Security Group"
When setting up Security Group Access levels, specifically for "Web Product Setup" There is no way to assign the ability for a user to have "All Areas Login / Mobile Login" without granting that user System Wide Access in Product setup. Would be nice to have this ability select-able as a option in Security Groups for secretaries that are trying to login to a teacher account or family account without needing to have the complete product setup available to them.

update skyward documentation
Your skyward documentation area is not updated to newest version. When I look up, for example, how to enter different kinds of discipline and actions it very vague and is of no help. It is also from 2012. I realize that having so many documents in the help area would take a lot of time you should do this for some of the most used areas. I think if you attached a video from a up to date skyward webinar would be easier also.

Add Course Substitution Option to Grad Reqs
Under coursework requirement area - WS\ST\TB\GQ\TB\GQ
It would be helpful if in addition to the options to manually add coursework, that there also be an option to add coursework being used for substitutions. Using the picture as a reference, an S can be added to the options to choose from if needing to substitute a course.
For example, a student in Special Education may have a LOTE substitution for graduation. I would like to have the ability to add courses designated as General Electives to Texas Graduation areas of LOTE and Physical Education as these are the areas where students…

Scheduling - Print Teacher Schedules
When printing out Teacher Schedules (WS/OF/CS/RE/TS), it would be nice to have the option to choose specific teachers, but more than one teacher at a time. We have multiple teachers who teach in different departments, so just choosing a department or a subject, doesn't get us what we need. We would like to have the option to checkbox more than one teacher at a time.

Gradebook report in spreadsheet format
It would be really helpful to be able to pull a report in spreadsheet format of student grades. The Student Assignments report under Student Management > Educator Access Plus > Gradebook > Reports is close, but I need a csv that I can edit and upload to other systems.

Add the graduated Y/N and Grad Date from profile as an object on student transcripts.
Currently when we print a transcript for a senior that is credit deficient or a dropout, the graduation date is populated from the projected grad date object. This is then very misleading on these transcripts as the student has not graduated. It seems to make more sense to pull the grad date from the profile tab, that way students that are credit deficient or drop outs, would not populate a graduation date. Thank you for considering.

Update Team Conferences with teachers when a course or section is changed such as adding a team to a section
Update Team Conferences time slots automatically with teachers when a change to a course/section is made such as Allow Conferences and adding a team to a section. So that we don't have to mass delete then re-add. Because sometimes schools notice something is wrong after guardians are already signing up.
We noticed that Skyward made a change that when team conference time slots have already been added if a course/section is change such as adding a team to a section the students of that section are now automatically added into the available list for those time slots in that team.…

Relationship Choices in OnLine Enrollment
When a parent or guardian is doing online enrollment, and they come to the relationship drop down, the drop down includes all the possible relationships, even those for emergency contacts. We would like to make it a little easier on the parents and limit the choices for those guardian records. But we haven't found a way to exclude choices like "neighbor" or others that don't make sense. We need a shorter list for them.

Student Locator Icon access in Educator Access Plus
The student locator icon is not available when teachers are in Educator Access Plus taking attendance in their class. If a student is not in the classroom but not absent, they have to go out to the dashboard to access it (Because they have security to do so). It would great if they could click on the student locator pin on the bar at the top while in their gradebooks.
