Change verbiage on the "Distribute Student Demographic Information For" area of the Student / Student Profile tab
Under the"Distribute Student Demographic Information For" area of the Student / Student Profile tab, our Florida district would like the verbiage that appears when you click on the question mark to be changed for the "Public" check box to say :
"The Public flag is normally used to exclude student information from being sent outside the district such as newspapers, Social Media, TV and other media."1 vote -
Add the WISEid field to Student Browse Views
Could Skyward,
1. Include the WISEid in ALL Student Browse/Views
2. Include a “middle initial” field in ALL Student Browse/Views(For background, I asked both Skyward and DPI to confer and come up with a good way for us to compare data from Skyward Student Browse and WISEdash for Districts. It was discussed at their vendor meeting and the resolution was for me to submit a Product Idea, because a project could not be written for it.)

Add demographics to Enrollment Application Processing area
Can the following demographics be added to the Enrollment Application Processing area: Gender, Local Race, Income Range? We have a district who want to use the 'Create Chart' feature, but would like the above-mentioned demographics in order to use it to fit their needs. This could help others benefit from this tool, as well. Thank you.

Mass Change Course Fees be able to select year and amount
Under Mass Change Course Fees WS\AD\FM\PS\UT\CC - Have the capability to select the year - for new year - and the amount. Several of our courses have the same amount for fees, workbooks and textbooks. It would be nice to have the ability to mass change as opposed to pulling up each individual course and entering the textbook amount, then the workbook, amount then the fees. A tedious and time consuming activity that could be streamlined.

Read testscores to find the highest for transcripts
Indiana code now requires that the highest SAT score be included on transcripts. It would be great if Skyward could read the testscores and find the highest to include on the custom transcript.

Tennessee State ID needs to be pullable on reports in Gradebooks.
Our high school teachers need to print their rosters with state id's for CTE purposes.

Option to Remove Industry Credential Headers on Transcript if No Data - Same as Option on Test Scores
Currently, there is an option to remove the headers from the Test Scores section of a custom transcript if a student has no data in the test scores field. We need the same option for the Industry Credentials section of our custom transcript - otherwise it appears as if there is missing information.
As of right now, we are having to track those students who have info in the associated fields, so that we can build and run separate transcripts for them.
I have attached a screenshot of the button in the test scores field.

Would like to be able to mass disable family/student access for summer months with a message for all entities instead of going into each one and clicking all the boxes to no.

When added students in future scheduling in entry by class it would be very helpful to have NY homeroom as one of the fields .

Textbook Tracker
We utilize textbook tracker to check out laptops to our teachers and administrators. We have several administrators that are not assigned to a a school entity, and we cannot accurately check out a device to them. It would be very helpful to be able to check out items in entity 000 (district entity) for those who are not assigned to a school.

FBA/BIP State Templates
It'd be extremely helpful for security if DPI's sample FBA and (mainly) BIP forms were created as templates in Skyward. We currently have them created as district forms, but in order to give staff access to the Behavior Intervention Plan, they'd get access to all district forms, which we can't do, so we end up having to print them and disperse, which also isn't great for security. Could be added as SpEd form templates or do a setup similar to IHPs so the security is separate even though it's an attachment.

When printing Indiana Statements it would be quite helpful to be able to use a Processing List instead of manually entering over 700 customer IDs.

I wish there was an option to print the total earned credits per subject on the transcript.

Split "Honor Entity Security For Grading" configuration into 2 separate configurations
We'd like to have the "Honor Entity Security for Grading" configuration option split into 2 options. One would allow "forward viewing" of grades by entity (something we'd like to disable). The other option would allow "backward viewing" of grades by entity (something we'd like to continue to leave enabled).

Open Attendance for Whole Class
Teachers would like an "Overwrite All" button or for the "Overwrite" function to be eliminated from attendance taking so that they can simply open their Post Daily Attendance tab, open their class, take attendance, and save it without the added step of overwriting each student individually.

Attach PIMS State Course codes to COURSES not CURRICULUM
If the PIMS State Course codes were attached to the courses instead of to the curriculum master, it would be possible to create career plans that jive with the ACT 158 Pathways.
