Family custom forms
Skyward gives us the access to create a Parent custom Form so Families can fill out just one form per family, but we are unable to print the form. It would be nice to be able to print the Parent Custom Form we create too.

scheduling constraints - specific section
I know that we have the option for scheduling constraints for a student and a specific class/teacher. It would be amazing if that could be expanded to specific sections or other students. We are having more personal conflict issues that we need to separate students in classes. Much of the information is private/legal and can't be shared so often, inadvertently, one of us in the department changes a schedule and the students end up in the same class. This has been causing some serious issues. Please consider this idea in both SMS and Q.

Endorsement Option Sort Order
Update the following 3 areas to use the endorsement option "Order-Num" column for the display sort order similar to how the tabs display in Endorsement Maintenance. If this is not an option them at least make them sort alphabetically.
Family/Student Access > Endorsements > Add
Student Profile > Grad Reqs > Endorsements > Update Declaration
Student Profile > Grad Reqs > Endorsements > Add under the Endorsements Received section

Attendance Tab - Add the option to select specific days of the week for reoccurring absences during a specific hour(s).
If a student has an appointment during 7th and 8th hour every Thursday for three consecutive weeks, we have to choose each date, add in the attendance, save and then choose the next date. Being able to isolate specific class periods for specific days of the week within a date range, would make for a smoother process.

Health Conditions Codes
When new health condition codes are added into the system, they do not automatically create a health flag/student indicator for the student.
You have to go into advanced features and adjust the health student indicators at each entity to get the new conditions to flag.It would be great if any new health condition code that gets added, would automatically create a health student indicator.

Add a delete utility tool to delete orphaned courses and sections. This is available in Qmaltiv but is needed in SMS.

Endorsement Earned Freeze
The ability to "freeze" earned endorsements for graduated students in order to update and change curriculum codes without having to update 10 years worth of courses.

(Texas) Add Course Service ID to Endorsement Progress Screen
With the addition of needing to have the programs of study, endorsements, and IBCs align with the correct PEIMS codes, it would be very helpful to have the PEIMS codes for courses on the Endorsement progress page of skyward. With it just having the local course code, it requires that we go back into the transcript if there is a course that we are unsure of the PEIS code to make sure the alignment is correct. It would same an immense amount of time to have all the pertinent information on one page.

Having the option when printing a student transcript to add any comments with the Award
I spent a great deal of time putting all of the student activities into the system for each student over the years that they participated in. WIth that I also added the individual awards for that activity. Within the award template there is a comment section, which I used for various things like 1st Place, 2nd Place, Gold, Silver, Bronze etc. But after doing all of that I realized that it isnt't an option in printing a students transcript to include that comment anywhere. It should be listed as an option to print on the transcript. Please consider adding this…

Bus drivers writing referrals
We would like to enable bus drivers to write referrals within Skyward. However, we do not want them to have access to sensitive information, such as the Primary Guardian details or phone numbers. Currently, we cannot restrict this information from their view. We would like to propose an edit that allows us to customize the bus drivers' view accordingly.

MCCC drop after this date should be sent to MCCC
I just found out that we are required to enter a date for when grades should be sent after a drop for MCCC. Since I have many course lengths for each school, it is very time-intensive to change these dates each year by hand. It would be very helpful to have a process with year-end to enter those dates like we do when entering calendar dates. Or a utility to mass assign that date for terms across calendars and entities like we do for attendance days/workshop days/vacation days. Something where it isn't an individual update.

Please make "other name" exportable in the export file builder for use in outside applications like Smartpass
We integrate with other apps via Clever and other tools and would like the option for "other name" to be an exportable field.

In the admin side of message center, it would be helpful for the office staff to
be able to drill down into teachers classes directly to send information out to specific students so the information could be posted on specific students. We would like to be able to email and post this information without having to do processing lists each time we want to do this. At this point you can send the information to the entire class but cannot send to specific students. We are trying to automate a process and this would speed things up if they could select only the specific students and contact them both by messenger and email at the same…

Default Date for Parent Entered Requests
It would be helpful to have the date field in the Parent Entered Requests screen to not default to the calendar day minus 7 days. We have several parents who are putting in requests many weeks ahead of time and we are not seeing those because the date is only a week back. It would be great if we could set it to the first day of school or a date of our choosing.

Adding a parent / guardian name next to the home phone number when printing the field trip roster.
We just started using the Field Trip Master this year for scheduling our field trips. When we print the roster for the field trips, it includes the home phone number, but does not include the parent or guardian's name next to the number. The emergency contacts show the name and the phone number, so I am hoping that a primary guardian name could be added as well to the report. This would help to know who we are contacting at the home number.

Attendance Labels on Standards Basic Report Card
Need the ability to rename the "Excused" and "Unexcused" labels on the attendance summary within the Standards Basic Report Card area. Right now it is hard coded and we need the ability to rename Excused/Unexcused labels. For our district we want to reflect Funded/Unfunded instead.

Discipline Graphs should Accurately Report data for Prior Year
When running the Discipline Graph by Offense for a prior year and doing breakdown by grade it shows grades as (10,11,12,GD) instead of 09,10,11,12. I should be able to see the grade they were in during the timeframe selected not the grade they are in now. See attachment for what is returned in discipline graph vs discipline counts report. Show weighted and unweighted GPA
In the GPA summary section of a student profile, we would like to see an unweighted GPA as well as the weighted GPA that we use. Many students need an unweighted GPA for scholarship or college applications and it must be figured out manually which is time-consuming and leaves room for errors.

Have a setting in security to allow access only to active students
We have some employee types, such as paras, that need limited information for students. We would like to be able to limit this access to Active students only. There is no need to see all students that ever attended that entity.
