Change verbiage on the "Distribute Student Demographic Information For" area of the Student / Student Profile tab
Under the"Distribute Student Demographic Information For" area of the Student / Student Profile tab, our Florida district would like the verbiage that appears when you click on the question mark to be changed for the "Public" check box to say :
"The Public flag is normally used to exclude student information from being sent outside the district such as newspapers, Social Media, TV and other media."1 vote -
Add the WISEid field to Student Browse Views
Could Skyward,
1. Include the WISEid in ALL Student Browse/Views
2. Include a “middle initial” field in ALL Student Browse/Views(For background, I asked both Skyward and DPI to confer and come up with a good way for us to compare data from Skyward Student Browse and WISEdash for Districts. It was discussed at their vendor meeting and the resolution was for me to submit a Product Idea, because a project could not be written for it.)

HTML Options for Fee Mgmt / Print Statements
We frequently use the Fee Mgmt Print Statements report and would love to have the text box be HTML instead of just plain text so that we could insert a hyperlink to our payment website.

Early Grad Class Rank
When a student graduates a full year early, there is no way to include them in the class rank for the cohort that they are actually graduating with. This is due to DPI requiring that they stay in their same cohort. I had to find a workaround to get these students to be included. It would be nice if there was a dropdown or field for "Grad Year for Rank" that could be 12, even though they are still in 11.

updated RTI custom form templates
We would like for the RTI custom form template options to match the custom form template options on the 3.0 sped forms. Please see the attachment to see the options in the sped forms, that we are requesting on the RTI forms. Currently the RTI forms are not being utilized to the max, as they are not formatted as we need.

Allow parents to EDIT and RESUBMIT a NSOE application!

IDEA: Please allow parents to EDIT a NSOE through Skyward, as it would be extremely beneficial for our campuses. If the skyward developing team could add a way for the registrars at the campuses to flag a NSOE application as “INCOMPLETE”, the parent would then be able to return to the application and resubmit any documents when necessary. In the event we have parents uploading incorrect documents or are missing docs/information, the parent could resubmit. Currently, our campus registrars are limited to only Deny or Cancel the application entirely. Campuses do not request parents to email…68 votes -
pass fail grades
On standards grading the Pass/Fail only applies to Subjects and Skills not the overall semester/term grades. If you do not use the P grade mark for any other Grade Mark Group you currently need to change the Grade Mark to be an "other" override and then the teacher would need to override the Term grades. Otherwise you will need to continue to manually change the term grades to P/F grade marks manually.
But P/F works differently with secondary gradebooks; correctly appears on the report card. We would like to request programming for P/F grades within standards gradebooks and report cards…

Tennessee needs a report to identify when a Primary teacher is changed so that Teacher history can be updated. This info is stored in the Meets history. How can we pull it nightly?

Add asterisk next to Identity tab name to indicate student has had a name change entered, as is done under Special Programs
To help quickly flag students who have had an alternate name entered on the Identify tab, could an asterisk be added to the left of the Identity label? This is currently done for Special Programs.

We need a mass add staff classification!
We have over 600 teachers/admin in our district who need Student Support Plans and Teacher classification to get into IIEP. We have done this manually for most, but we constantly have new staff and it is hard to go into each person one by one to "make sure" they have it. Why isn't this a utility yet? It is necessary for DEX.

Secondary Gradebook - Ability to Pull Category/Assignment specific level data
I would like to suggest developing a report (or ability within data mining) that would allow users to pull reports of specific categories/assignments from the secondary grade book.
Example: I want to be able to see the trends of 3rd gr MATH TESTS or READING TESTS throughout the school year. I can only pull Quarter or Semester grades. There is a report that sort of gets this data but it is student specific and there is no way to sort and organize the data by a class or grade level for comparisons.

Fee Management Configuration Configure Auto Email Ability to Add Fee Comments as Pre-Defined Field
We send parents an auto email message when student has a misc tech fee for Chromebook damages or replacement. I know that we could create more codes one for each of the various types, but this message just has the amount of $100 for the tech fee and with such a large amount parents tend to call student accounts when they get this message before they look at making the payment in RevTrac with the comment.

EA+ My Activities add *** GPA, Term GPA and grade bucket grades on the same report. For example on the Activity Roster or the Progress Report. Both help our coaches determine whether students are eligible to play. Or even when expanding the activity next to the students name.

Under the report Payor Notification by Email (under Administrations, Free Management, Reports) I would like to email 2nd families at the same time I am email the primary family that fees are due/past due. Right now I can only email primary.

Report Legal Name to Ed-Fi - add checkbox field in data mining
PLEASE add the "Report Legal Name to Ed-Fi" checkbox as a Yes/No option to choose in data mining so that we can find inconsistencies without having to stare and compare as to which names have changed. Thank you!

Add demographics to Enrollment Application Processing area
Can the following demographics be added to the Enrollment Application Processing area: Gender, Local Race, Income Range? We have a district who want to use the 'Create Chart' feature, but would like the above-mentioned demographics in order to use it to fit their needs. This could help others benefit from this tool, as well. Thank you.
