Margins In Attendance/Discipline Letters
We would like to shrink the margins on our custom letters to fit all information on one page. This would be beneficial for layout of the custom letters.

hall pass - include signature image and email
We would like to be able to email the Hall Pass from the Attendance tab in Student Profile directly to the student's current teacher. This would immediately let the teacher know that the student should be returning to class.
We would also like to be able to insert an image of a signature on the pass so that it is signed when emailed or printed.

TX: Update Tracking report to include timestamps
Texas reporting requirements include being able to report the date and time attendance data changes are made. We currently only offer timestamp data on a screen without the ability to create a report from it. This project is to update the Transaction Tracking report to include timestamps as well as date.

Absence Occurrence Report
We would like to have total columns add to the Absence Occurrence Report so that it may total AUE's by the way we do our schedule. We have a 12 day rotation schedule Day1 is 1-6 and Day 2 is 7-12. I have attached some print screens so that you may understand what I am talking about. Please let me know it this would be possible. We have made a request like this in the past when we first acquired the software but nothing ever came of it. Thank you for your time.

Average Daily Attendance Report
A report that our administration offices would find useful and beneficial is to be able to run an attendance report that could show the average daily attendance by date - specifically a report that could be run to show the following information:
Daily Absence Total
Daily Absence Percentage
Daily Membership - Enrollment Total for the day
Average Daily Attendance (ADA)
Average Daily Membership (ADM)Ranges to run by Grade Level and by Building and possibly homeroom

attendance letter clone
In the attendance letter setup - it would be great to have a clone button. Many attendance letters that get scheduled get scheduled either multiple times (each semester or quarter) or for different thresholds (5, 10, 15, etc).
Knowing it is setup correctly and just needing to change the name, threshold or timeframe would make this area much more friendly to use. Lisa

Use Stu Discipline Officer in Tardy Discipline
When using attendance letters to auto generate an offense for tardies (TAR) the setup will not allow the student's assigned discipline officer to be selected. It either has to be left blank or a specific name selected. This does not allow the offense to be easily viewed by the student's discipline officer. A filter could be created for blank offenses or an auto emails for this specific offense could be created but the discipline officers/assistant principals are already inundated with emails and don't want to have to frequently change their discipline filters.

add Dr. Note Required student indicator
We use wanding to check in students arriving late to school. They enter their ID# on the keypad and then the security personnel check them in. The issue we have is that if a student is required to have a Dr. Note in order to enter school the student indicator for that is not visible on the wanding screen that the security folks see.

Add 'Other Id' to Absence Occurrence Report.
Add 'Other Id' to Absence Occurrence Report. At the moment the only identifier in this report is the student key and the student name. Adding this will help in better tracking attendance and comparing student attendance improvement over time.

PASS+ Room Allowed Based on Schedule
Students can use PASS+ to mark themselves present in any room. Please develop ability to identify if a student is in their expected/assigned room location and allow/deny student attendance based on whether student is in proper room/location. The PASS+ device currently denies attendance entry based on schedule (can't scan in during times that are not on the bell schedule). Having the PASS+ compare the device's room code to the student's schedule would prevent students from using PASS+ to sign in where they shouldn't be. My campuses use the Attendance Worksheet for subs to use to send in their absentees daily. The Attendance Worksheets and cuts off the names. For those students that have two last names, it doesn't even print the first name. It is my understanding that TX SR allows for 70 characters per name (first, middle and last). That needs to be longer to allow the first name to print.

Attendance Enhancement Needed
We have a "mini" college campus @HS. We have over 350 kids that move in and out of our building on a daily basis that we need to track for attendance. We have codes set up for such but there is no simple way to enter this except one by one!
I would propose to add an enhancement in the Attendance Entry by Class or Activity screen to add a "selected days" button and a "meet" button to easily add students scheduled in certain classes that leave the building. It would also be nice to do this on individual student.…24 votes -
Need to see report by rotation
By having the report print out by rotation Day 1 is Days 1-6 rotation Day 2 is Days 7-12 rotation. In order to check our attendance offenders we run the report by student and then have to manually go through each date for each student and see which rotation they were absent on. If they have 3 or more absences on a rotation they are not in compliance with attendance rules. We then lower the grade for the rotation they are not in compliance with. When utilizing the attendance letter scheduling and updating the parameters for them, it would be beneficial to have the ability to eliminate class periods from which to count. Example: we would like to only count periods 1 and 3-5 for the automated letters.

We would like to be able to delete bells without it deleting bells from the prior years.
every year we have so many bells that role over that we do not need. We would like to delete the bells not needed but with your system it deletes the bells from the prior year. We know we can change the time and titles but it still leaves a lot of bells and its messy and confusing. See document attached showing a school with all the bells. Add Overwrite option for Tardy Kiosk under Absence Type Codes
Our time saved in writing passes and tracking late arrivals with the addition of the Tardy Kiosk has been significant. The time added by cleaning up excused absences that Kiosk has overridden has unfortunately replaced that saved time. We are having to review the entries several times a day.
Absence Type Codes currently have the config option to "Allow overwrite by Positive Attendance". Adding an option for "Do not allow overwrite by Tardy Kiosk" would allow us to mark our Excused and Exempt types, eliminating our constant review of entries.

Schools should be able to view the attendance record of a student from a previous school just as they can view the discipline and the grades
The grades and discipline of the student are part of their record that follows them from building to building. However, attendance currently does not work the same way. The focus on truancy and chronic absenteeism make it mandatory to monitor for the year without having ease of access to attendance as they do the grades and discipline.

A report for DOE attendance data - (in attendance, 1/2 day absent, excused/unexcused absent)
We need a report (prefer one that dumps an Excel spreadsheet) that provides the DOE attendance calculation. It would be amazing if calculation results could be stored in a table, like the Year To Date attendance.
Without it, it is difficult to verify that the DOE has the correct attendance data and it is difficult to identify students who are close to the 94% target.

attendance letters - excluding individual students
When creating 5 and 10 day attendance letters... is there a way to exclude individual students from generating a letter? For example we have a few students that are on the attendance letter list that have known issues that would make it to where they should not get an attendance 5 or 10 day letter. We have a kiddo at the burn center that is absent but the medical paperwork has not come in yet. Until then when we run the letters they would be on the list.
