My campuses use the Attendance Worksheet for subs to use to send in their absentees daily. The Attendance Worksheets and cuts off the names. For those students that have two last names, it doesn't even print the first name. It is my understanding that TX SR allows for 70 characters per name (first, middle and last). That needs to be longer to allow the first name to print.

One other addition that I forgot to include.
Add the option in the template to "Print Worksheets for Today". This will allow campuses to schedule the template as task and have it emailed to anyone. It will make things more efficient and easier for campus administration, attendance staff and teachers.

I like this idea and would also suggest the signature line be moved to the bottom. In addition to the signature and date a time line should also be included. Since attendance is based on a "snapshot" (per TEA's SAAH) this would meet audit requirements. Lastly, the Name Key should be replaced with the Other Id to make it easier for attendance clerks to find student and post attendance manually.
