Display timesheet in Unsubmitted even if no hours
Could it be set up so a timesheet is created even if there are no hours recorded and have it display in Unsubmitted Time Sheets for each week there is a workweek schedule? This would be for timekeeping rules that use Annualized Pay based on Employee’s Schedule (see attachment for screen shots). Currently the Unsubmitted Time Sheets area doesn’t show timesheets for weeks where the employee didn’t clock in for the entire week. Covered individuals
For each employee I noticed that there is a box to say employee is a covered individual. Our district is self-insured so every covered individual must be reported. When you check the box the employee's information (name social and date of birth) does not automatically populate in the bottom. I had not added them manually in the bottom because a Skyward rep told me that the IRS will recognize the employee as covered because the box was checked. However the IRS does NOT accept the record and tells us that it is an error because the box is checked but…

Garnishment calculation
US Department of Education calculates disposable earnings as Gross less taxes less health insurance less WRS pension. Also has a base minimum poverty earnings that excludes the deduction is earnings are too low. Skyward only has the standard disposable calculation of Gross less taxes. Negative impact: Federal Law failure to comply with correct calculation. Add another disposable calculation option that follow the US Dept of Education calculation that also includes the option of minimum earnings by employee.

VENDOR ACH SETUP
We are moving in the direction of using more ACH processing and have come across the vendor "Alliant Energy" who requires certain criteria that Skyward is not able to support at this time. Per Aaron King (Service call: 3683187) the part that is not support is the Addenda 7 part of the attached form. Since we make weekly payments to this vendor (because of the various buildings with different due dates) we would like to see if something could be worked out to accommodate ACH processing.

Read Receipts for Message Center
The ability to be able to see read receipts for messages that have been sent out in Educator access plus and under Student Management. This would assist staff in knowing what parents and/or students are reading their messages. This would also assist in documentation when dealing with issues with a student. Implement anywhere emails are sent out. Educator Access Plus under message center and emailing of progress reports. Mass add auto approval rules
In the Purchase order groups setup I currently have to go into each group to update the auto approval rules. I would like a mass add function so that I can select multiple groups and apply the auto approval rules to the groups that I select so that I don't have to individually update every one of them. This would be a great time saver!

ELP and Family Access
When parents login to Family Access and look at the Grade Marks screen the red yellow green color coding we have set up in Expected Levels of Performance does not appear. For parents to be able to see the color coding they have to click on the book icon for the grading period and then click show all events. We would like for our parents to not have to go through so many steps. Also I have been informed the color coding does not show up on the mobile app at all. Deduction Benefit History-/Payroll Date Selection
A date range or something needs to be added to this area. When I have 20 years of information and I need to gather ALL 20 years and we do 3 payrolls a month do you know how many CLICKS THAT IS? I know an RFE was put in a few years ago. This seriously needs to be fixed on the web side of Payroll.

Creating email 1, 2 and 3 like Phone number
We would like to have an email 1 email 2 and email 3 similar to how phone is set up. This way we could allow employees to update their personal emails whenever they would like but have it set to read only with their company email. The way the system is set up currently it is all or nothing.

Reset all quick filter ranges with one click
I often use the quick filters for filtering data in my browse screens. Currently if I have multiple filters in place I must reset each one individually in order to clear all the filters. This is frustrating. I wish there was a one click option to clear all my quick filter ranges.

ACA employee selection parameters
When adding an employee to the ACA workfile I would like to have the ability to select multiple employees similar to other selection parameters in the software. This would save a lot of time if I have a list of specific employees to add. Time is money $.

During webinars our State and Federal Reporting Department recommend using an import process in this same Method to select employees quickly. You can do this using the 1095 tracker and exporting the browse of employees with an employee identifier at the time of running the report. You can run the 1095 tracker with an employee identifier of (employee id for example) and then export that browse to excel, save it and import it during year end using method 3.

Enhancements to the EM Pay Distribution Report
Would like to have an option to Display Repeating Fields so that we can convert to Excel and have the account codes listed for each person. We'd also like to have the building code and FTE added to this report. Our goal would be to have something similar to the Employee Costing Report found under Salary Negotiations. See attached file with screen shots. Language Spoken at Home
Wondering if the language spoken at home can be added to the Profile screen teachers see in addition to the home/native language. Many of our teachers require this information when scheduling conferences and/or meetings that require a translator.

Reoccurring Check Requests
Would like the option to setup reoccurring check requests. The option is available for A/R and A/P invoices. This would save some time when entering utility bills etc.

Signatures on Employee Letters from signature file
It would be really great to be able to apply an on file signature (board administrator) to an employee letter. We have specific board and administrator signatures on file for check printing and purchase orders. This would be a great feature on employee letters. With out an authorized signature on the document it really serves very little purpose to create and retain an unsigned document.

budget attachments lilnked to actual account
Would it be possible to have the attachment be linked to the actual account? I would like to attach an Excel file to a specific account which would tie back to the budget. Currently the attachment is link to the description on the Budget Entry screen. As part of this the attachment would also have to available in the Account Profile Budget tab.

Add option to mass change pay code for full week
When an employee has a pay code change in profile and true time right now a supervisor must go in and edit each individual clock entry each day on the employee's unsubmitted time sheet.
I would like to see a utility that can mass change the pay code for the entire week. Or have a utility that you can select FROM date x TO date x and mass change all transactions in between.

Switch post date to Batch date
The goal is to approve efficiency in looking up past posting (history). The Post Date is not something used on a daily basis and that has to be looked up before we can look up the entry. The number is more commonly used. Change Post Date to Batch Number Cash Receipt Number Journal Entry number for lookup at bottom of screen.

Blocking Individual Vendors
I would love to have the ability to block access to individual vendors - invoice history and/or attachments. For example I would like to block the ability to see legal vendors for most of the employees who have vendor view securities. We scan in invoices and I believe the details contained in some legal invoices should not be seen by everyone.
Without this ability we will most likely stop scanning in legal invoices.12 votes
