Changes made to the TRS Staff Salary New Extract
The extract has been changed to only include active employees. However To provide accurate reporting on TEA Staff Salary report. Inactive Profiles need to be added back to the extraction which include the last payroll and term dates. Also it would be better for the extraction to pull from pay history and not just active employees. I am going back checking some things with the new way of reporting it would be nice if the Skyward report had which month the data is extracted from when looking at multiple months. Having the terms and inactive profiles is helpful sometimes we have go back and rerun these reports with the current setup it is not pulling the previous month data because that employee is not active. For Example When I ran the September and October with the new extracting the employees who have termed are not showing up on the report because they're not currently active. Also someone might be getting paid in November but their last day to work was actually the end of October. For the Staff Salary Funding they are not actually eligible in November even if they're active because the last pay is in November. So we look at last payroll dates and term dates for that information. Employees are made active by the HR department at the time of hire however they may not actually start work or get paid in the same month. Sometimes they never show up for work. Extracting only Active employees is not an accurate reporting as it would be to pull the extraction from pay history.
