  1. Unit Cost and Quantity

    The goal is to be able to send accurate and understandable invoices. We need to be able to enter a quantity of >99999 and a unit cost with 7 significant figures (our local tax rate).
    I understand the limits are hard coded so I assume changing them is a simple task and would have no impact in other parts of the system.

    Thank you for submitting and voting on this idea. We’ve done some research and decided that we are not going to pursue this development.

    Skyward accounting rounds to the nearest cent. If we consider seven extra digits the rounding will cause issues with data integrity for all inputs in the system (Purchase Orders, Invoices, Payroll, Reports, etc.) and anything else that relies on accounting to process data correctly.

  2. Expense Reimbursement Verification per Fl Satute

    We have a couple of districts that is trying to setup to use Expense Reimbursement but they say according to Statute 112.061 requires that each traveler must certify the data on the form is correct. I can't find a way to be sure that this is included. This is the verbiage: Fl Statute 112.061 11.(b) (b) Voucher forms.—1.   3. Browse option on Card User's screen

    As a credit card user they don't have the "Description or Account number" available in the browse (as the approvers do). These 2 fields are imperative to have for some of our end users (secretaries that are responsible for reconciling several cards and various accounts numbers are being used). By having these 2 fields they could dump to excel which will help them extensively to be able to sort by account number or description to assign the correct account number (example if it's all "musical supplies" she knows all of them will have the same account number etc...).   4. Employee expense reimbursement - pre-verifier

    We have struggled with the preverifier option forever. I would like to request that you change this option to allow for a blank preverifier and the user must be required to choose the proper preverifier from a drop down list.
    Currently the system makes us default a preverifier. Our employees always forget to change it to the correct person! I then need to deny the request and email them to log back in and change the preverifier and resubmit their request.

  5. Security Group(s) for limiting document access

    Applicants upload a scanned copy of their social security card. The purpose of uploading the scanned SSN is to be able to quickly validate/verify the information after we hire the applicant and give them their required computer access. HR personnel should be the only ones able to access/view these documents. Currently all screeners can access and download any of the created Attachment Lists (WH\AD\FT\PP\PS\CO\AL). This could be an auditable issue as it relates to the security of personal information. A fix to this problem would be the ability to create security groups to limit certain attachment lists.   6. ORS option default from PP2 to DC

    It would be nice if skyward could come up with something to help convert people when they choose DC after having to be set up as pension plus 2 like how to change all the deductions from one plan to another the adjustments that have to be entered on ORS etc

  7. Utility Added for SubTracking

    We would like a utility added that would keep someone from putting in two different substitutes for the same teacher on the same day. We are running into some scheduling a sub and putting them in the system and then when the day comes that sub doesn't show up and another is called and then that one is put in as well without removing the original sub.   8. Verify funds pie graph for Check Request approvals

    Would like the ability to verify funds with a pie graph like the approval area of requisitions. Would be quicker to verify the funds within the approval screen rather than looking up the account in another screen to verify funds.

  9. Breakdown of paycodes

    The change that I would like to have occur is during the payroll process when pulling hourly data from True Time into payroll. Instead of hours being lumped together with one total I would like to see the breakdown of all pay codes listed individually with hours associated with those codes without having to log into Employee Access to see the breakdown. For example if an employee worked 160 hours for the month and there was a holiday granted and paid time off the totals would look like: hourly 144hrs holiday 8hrs vacation 8hrs.   10. Report to verify Wisconsin Retirement Hours

    To be able to verify per payroll; WRS hours WRS earnings WRS deduction & WRS benefit. The negative impact was the $16000+ we had to pay in back earnings interest & penalties for not deducting WRS on various employees with multiple pay codes plus our time finding those numbers and submitting them to WRS every 6 months for the last 8 years. A report would have been helpful to catch that error years ago and a report would have helped to find the prior year's data vs looking at every single check for every single employee affected.   12. Batch # field to be 1-2 digits longer

    Nassau has requested a longer batch number field (at least 1-2 digits longer) Our runs are getting larger and we try to identify B1 APR30 I'd like to use B10 APR30 Right now we're identifying extra batches as B10APR30 So when researching batches (for auditors) there hasn't been total consistency.

  13. Link Employee Absences into Outlook Calendar

    Our District is interested in having the ability to incorporate the employee absences approved in EA to an Outlook Calendar. This would allow the Supervisors to import the approved absences into their Outlook calendar rather than re-typing the information in on a person by person basis. This would be extremely helpful to those in the Administrative Offices. It would be nice if the option was there to sync the Employee Time Off Calendars in EA with Calendars in Outlook.   14. Requisition Batch Number Message

    I would like at add a Requisition Entry Option to not display the message The batch number on the requisition being cloned does not meet the district specification set in the configuration. The batch number has been set to today's date. Our specification is that the batch be today's date. The system automatically sets this and the person entering the requisition does not need to know they did not create the new requisition on the same day as the last PO. This message creates confusion and the user stops entering the requisition because the believe they have done something wrong.

  15. Mass Clone AP Invoice Does Not Clone Check Type

    When doing a mass clone of an accounts payable invoice the check type comes through as Regular. The invoice entered that is being cloned is ACH. All invoices are payments to employees that are all set up on ACH. We would like the check type to populate correctly with ACH as a true clone of the original invoice rather than needing to edit each invoice. Thank you.

    Add the word Allowances under the word Additional in employee access w4 information Less confusion - When employees view this screen they are confused as they think this should show the additional contributions (made to state or Federal) and not additional state allowances.

  18. Add a custom browse view for assignments

    There are currently on 2 views that we use staff payroll and staff assignments. We would like to create a custom view because there are fields in each one that are unique. We would like to see all the fields in both available for a custom view and we can filter on. Also we need to see more then just 2 accounts. We would dump this report to excel and all the account codes could show then for us.

  19. Manually Imput ACA Hours

    Whenever adding dates the fields are cleared out each time. It would be nice if there was a "Save and Add Another" button that could be clicked when making multiple entries. With this feature the fields would stay populated with the previous data input. Then it would only be necessary to change the date and click "Save and Add Another". Most of the time the Pay Code and Hours are the same. This would be more efficient than inputting repetitive data over and over when multiple days of data need to be manually entered.

    Users are having to scroll left-right excessively to receive POs. This screen should function like other areas and allow users to manipulate the column widths by percentages using the filter application. Allow the columns to be manipulated by percentages like other areas.
