  1. New Column Added to Vendor-Payor Report

    The Vendor-Payor Report needs a column for account number. By having this number on the report users will not have to go back to each individual entry to determine the account source. School bookkeepers will save time by not having to open many screens.

  2. New Column Added to SBAA Report

    Need a column on Balance Sheet Account Ledger Report for Vendor/Payor from the Cash Receipt screen and Check Request screen. Users will be able to see vendor/payor description or name without opening another screen.

  3. Control Check Number Printing Order

    Please add the option to print checks in reverse number order during the payroll process. Some of our printers don't print in the same order that our checks are shipped. During large paper check runs the stack of checks have to be manually re-sorted.
    A single option to print in the normal 1-10 order or in the reverse 10-1 order. This is a common feature in most bookkeeping software that I've used including my own personal finance software at home.

  4. Require a separate approval for certain vendors

    We would like to monitor purchases from a particular vendor Amazon. By having an approval by vendor we can approve prior to the purchase regardless of the dollar amount of the purchase. Without this enhancement we either don't have prior authorization for the purchase or we have to approve all purchase orders (which is not currently a requirement for our district). This would put a significant burden on our Purchasing Department. Staff consistently purchase items from Amazon that are not necessarily appropriate for school use (via pcard).   5. True Time Comp Time Max

    We currently have a group who has a 56 hour comp time max clause in their contract. TT is set up to allow 56 hours per year but for our purposes we need to cap at 56 as an overall total. TT allows the employee to continue to request comp in excess of 56 hours.
    Is there a way to remove the "Maximum yearly balance starts at the beginning of ___________" piece in the timekeeping rule?

  7. Show Account Detail on WIP Report & Grand Total $

    We are hoping that the account detail can be included on the WIP report for requisitions and amount total. The end users feel that the report is a quicker way to verify entry of details than expanding a view for each requisition submitted. The expected outcome would be to view the account detail for submitted WIP requisitions and a grand total amount of requisitions in WIP status.

  8. Data Retention on Add

    After updating with addendum 3 and 4 the data retention on add is not working when it previously did. On invoice input the fiscal year will not stay what was previously entered. Data retention on add to function again.

  9. Budgeting on the Web and E-Commerce

    Our district creates the next year's budget by having the teachers enter budget requests through BOTW. We've also started using e-commerce ordering which has been tremendously helpful. However BOTW and E-commerce don't currently talk to each other so our schools have to re-enter the order information that the teachers have already entered. We would like to be able to spin a Purchase Requisition off a Budget Request in E-Commerce like we can through traditional order entry.   11. Allow Asset Code in Import for Credit Cards

    When we upload an asset code to the import for our credit card file it will not accept the asset code. After talking to Skyward customer service they stated that I would have to submit a Enhancement request because they system will not allow asset codes in the import. We would be able to upload 01 A 131 00 in our credit card imports. Allow asset liability and equity codes to be uploaded in the credit card import process.

  13. DEPENDENT REPORT ENHANCEMENT REQUEST

    Elimination of dependent data for employees who are no longer active in insurance tracking. I have employees who have left employment do not have an active insurance tracking record and they and their dependents still appear on the dependent report.
    No need for them to continue appearing on the report.

  14. Unit Cost and Quantity

    The goal is to be able to send accurate and understandable invoices. We need to be able to enter a quantity of >99999 and a unit cost with 7 significant figures (our local tax rate).
    I understand the limits are hard coded so I assume changing them is a simple task and would have no impact in other parts of the system.

    Thank you for submitting and voting on this idea. We’ve done some research and decided that we are not going to pursue this development.

    Skyward accounting rounds to the nearest cent. If we consider seven extra digits the rounding will cause issues with data integrity for all inputs in the system (Purchase Orders, Invoices, Payroll, Reports, etc.) and anything else that relies on accounting to process data correctly.

    We have a couple of districts that is trying to setup to use Expense Reimbursement but they say according to Statute 112.061 requires that each traveler must certify the data on the form is correct. I can't find a way to be sure that this is included. This is the verbiage: Fl Statute 112.061 11.(b) (b) Voucher forms.—1.   16. Browse option on Card User's screen

    As a credit card user they don't have the "Description or Account number" available in the browse (as the approvers do). These 2 fields are imperative to have for some of our end users (secretaries that are responsible for reconciling several cards and various accounts numbers are being used). By having these 2 fields they could dump to excel which will help them extensively to be able to sort by account number or description to assign the correct account number (example if it's all "musical supplies" she knows all of them will have the same account number etc...).   17. Employee expense reimbursement - pre-verifier

    We have struggled with the preverifier option forever. I would like to request that you change this option to allow for a blank preverifier and the user must be required to choose the proper preverifier from a drop down list.
    Currently the system makes us default a preverifier. Our employees always forget to change it to the correct person! I then need to deny the request and email them to log back in and change the preverifier and resubmit their request.

  18. Security Group(s) for limiting document access

    Applicants upload a scanned copy of their social security card. The purpose of uploading the scanned SSN is to be able to quickly validate/verify the information after we hire the applicant and give them their required computer access. HR personnel should be the only ones able to access/view these documents. Currently all screeners can access and download any of the created Attachment Lists (WH\AD\FT\PP\PS\CO\AL). This could be an auditable issue as it relates to the security of personal information. A fix to this problem would be the ability to create security groups to limit certain attachment lists.   19. ORS option default from PP2 to DC

    It would be nice if skyward could come up with something to help convert people when they choose DC after having to be set up as pension plus 2 like how to change all the deductions from one plan to another the adjustments that have to be entered on ORS etc

  20. Utility Added for SubTracking

    We would like a utility added that would keep someone from putting in two different substitutes for the same teacher on the same day. We are running into some scheduling a sub and putting them in the system and then when the day comes that sub doesn't show up and another is called and then that one is put in as well without removing the original sub.
