  1. Attaching a paycode to a time off entry

    We have employee's that work 2 positions in the District. They submit their time off to individual supervisors per the job the system automatically applies the Time Off to their primary pay code. We would like to be able to assign another pay code to a time off entry. Example Paraworks 6 hours a day Kids Safari: works 2 hour a day Employee submits a time off request for 6 hours to their para supervisor Employee submits a time off request for 2 hours to their kid safari supervisor Currently the system says all of the time of is the…

  2. Column heading updated to Status of Insurance Request

    Online open enrollment has 1 important column without a header. It is currently listed as S. It should be spelled out like all the other header columns. Status of Insurance Request. This would eliminate an abundance of phone calls asking what the status is on their enrollment. Yes it common sense to check that column but apparently not to none benefit people.

  3. Select Phone Category Field in Employee Access

    Enable employees to maintain their phone numbers and select Phone Category and Type. This information would then populate the information on the Phone/Email tab. District could have a Notification Phone Category so that users could select to use for school closing. Data could then be exported and uploaded to 3rd party software. Districts are currently requesting the information it is not updated in Skyward only in the 3rd party software. Would allow single entry of data.   4. Web Cash Receipt Account Button

    In PaC the functionality to click on the Account button takes the user to the Chart of Accounts module so that a user can look up descriptions see history open PO's which helps in cross referencing if the correct code is being used or copy the same description that was utilized before. The web version has three different places to look up the account number but it does not allow the user to go to the chart of accounts or account profile. Why not?

  5. Employees need to identify type of phone and email

    Employees need to be able to identify which type of phone and email each one is. Currently they can’t identify any phone number and only emails 2-4 can be identified via employee access. On the HR side I can however identify phone 2 and 3 but not one. Our request would be that via employee access they can identify all phone numbers and email addresses.   6. AR Statement Pymts Listing

    When printing and emailing AR statements it would be nice if the "Payments" section would be listed differently. Payors do not understand how they are listed now.
    If the payments could be listed chronologically by full payment only like in tab "4 Payment" in Payor Master it would be much more readable and cut down on a lot of phone calls.

  7. ER 27 for Retirees based on calendar month not pay period

    System is creating an ER27 adjusting the days and hours worked based on sub tracking (which is pay period) when retirees have to be reported by calendar month. We are submitting ER20's every month with the correct hours and days for the calendar month and the next month an ER 27 is adjusting it and it shouldn't be. We are deleting the ER27 prior to submitting them.

  8. Approving credit card transactions

    Due to so many credit card transactions under Review/Submit Transactions could you please add the select all transactions to approve? Last month I had 150 transactions to approve one by one. This takes a lot of time. I understand that the last approver has this option however it seems appropriate for other users as well. This will save so much time if I do not have to click submit 180 times.

  9. Add Individual Employee Pull to True Time

    We would like to be able to pull in an individual to pay for any True Time timekeeping rule. In the State of MN if an employee demands their final check we have to produce in 24 hours. We would like to use the system to calculate all money owed using what is entered in True Time. I have been told that the only way to do this is to manually create a check for the hours owed cut the check and then force the time sheets into history so that you do not pay them again for those hours…

  11. Shift Differential vs automatic OT pay code

    I would like to submit a request for enhancement for Shift Differential in the Time Keeping Rules where you could select a shift differential pay code rather than it only allowing an automatic OT pay code. We have custodial staff who work evenings and anyone who works hours after 330pm receives a shift differential pay of $.60 per hour. For the last seven years I have manually calculated their shift differential by running a data mining report printing it and then counting their hours that they have worked after 330 pm. This is cumbersome and leaves room for human error.…

  13. Positive Pay for SBAA

    Avoid Check Fraud Positive pay would be most helpful in preventing check fraud. Fraudsters are targeting school districts. Our distract has prevented check fraud on the Accounts Payable side but we have no way of preventing on the SBAA side.

  15. Modify Widget to Show ALL EMPLOYEES UNDERNEATH ME

    I don't know if it's possible but we would really love the ability to change the setting of the bar graph widget for employee time off per week to see ALL employees under someone. These widgets are SOOOOO helpful and having the ability to change this setting with help us work smarter not harder. ;-) Right now the widget only shows employees who report directly to the approver. I included some screenshots in an effort to better clarify what I'm asking.

  16. User cannot edit a request in the approval process

    Once a New Hire request is approved at a low level and there are more approvals needed. The submitter cannot edit the request. Would like it to work like finance requisitions where the submitter can Edit but it resets the approvals back to the beginning.

  18. JE approval path streamlined

    Would like to have a journal entry approval path alternative for established dollar amount thresholds or for certain types of JE's.

    For example maybe entries over $50K go to the CFO rather than a Director,etc..
    Also would like to be able to see who prepared and reveiwed the JE on the screen or when printed for audit purposes.

    If you haven’t already tried the approve and reroute option, that might meet your needs:

    There is not a way to have conditional approval for Journal Entries in the way described in the question. What can be done, however, is that the Journal Entry setup can be done in such a way so as to allow rerouting approval to another user.

    When this option is turned on, Journal Entry approvers will be able to approve the journal entry and then send it to another User for approval.

    This User must be an approver in another Journal Entry Group.

    When entering Invoices into Skyward Finance, it would be nice to be able to change the Check Format at any point during the Invoice Entry process. The way it's set up now, the option to change Check Layout grays out and becomes unavailable after the Invoice Amount is entered.

  20. Paying an employee without a contract

    Would there be a way to have an exception show up when you are paying an employee without a contract? For instance having a teacher contract. The teacher has termed but the factor is not taken out so they are pulled into payroll. Paid an employee 4 extra times before she said anything. I removed it from payroll but forgot to take out the factor. This would help with that problem. Expected outcome would be that the employee with the exception should/would not get a paycheck.
