    Fixed Asset has a field call "Create Date". This field needs to be populated for all records regardless of how the record is created. Would greatly improve the ability to search for errors when you know that something happened within a date range.

  2. Ability to mass change expiration dates for certif

    MDE (MN Dept of Education) is upgrading to a tiered licensing system. To achieve this they will be extending all existing teacher licenses by one year from their current expiration date. All licenses expiring 6/30/18 will be extended to 6/30/19. Similarly 19 will go to 20 20 will go to 21 21 will go to 22 and 22 will go to 23. If not able to mass change it will require all schools in MN to manually update the expiration date of all teachers. This will increase the possibility of errors in the future.

    We’ve researched this request and current SMS 2.0 functionality and we suggest trying this instead:

    Create a Data Mining Report from Human Resources > Employee> Data Mining to pull certification information. You can export the Data Mining Report to an excel spreadsheet to mass update expiration dates.

    Then, navigate to Human Resources > Employee > Product Setup> Utilities > Certifications Import. You can re-import the Data Mining spreadsheet with all the updated certification expiration dates.

    Please be sure to verify the Expiration Date is not checked for the Creation Criteria on the import. This process will allow you to mass update all certification expiration dates.

  3. Changing PO account numbers

    As the PO processor I would like to be able to change account numbers as needed regardless of the PO group. In PAC I can pick whatever account number is needed for the PO no matter what PO group the requisitioner chose or is a member of. For instance I've got a librarian in my high school who orders a certain program for all of my buildings but she's only got access to the HS library accounts not the accounts for each building.   4. Option for items in bank rec to be unchecked

    Currently when working on the bank reconciliation the system opens the reconciliation with all items "checked" as if they are all cleared. It would be nice to have the items come in as "unchecked" so that you could check them off as you clear them. Or at least an option to select them all to "uncheck". It is really easy to miss an item that has not cleared especially when many of the items are the same amount i.e. textbook fees and there can be hundreds of fee management entries in that one months statement.

  5. Allow Export of Employee Data

    Allow export of employee data that can be scheduled similar to how skybuild works in student mgmt. allow export to a CSV file that will allow the file to retain any leading zeros in the ssn or other codes. data mining does not accomplish this as it will only export to excel, and it changes the formatting.

  7. Ability to Attach multiple documents at once

    Regarding Cash Receipts and Journal Entries (ATTACHMENTS). I would like the ability to attach multiple saved attachments at the same time (by using the control key for example) to my cash receipt batches and journal entries. Currently we need to attach one document at a time and it is very time consuming. I think this request would benefit all Skyward software users not just my District. In a windows environment the control key within Windows Explorer usually allows the user to choose multiple files to upload or attach to emails for example.

  9. Check Stub Printing

    We would like to have the check stub for our checks print in 2 parts instead of having to print the check and then print a separate voucher (and in the case of SBAA they have to photo copy the checks because there isn't a voucher option). We purchased our checks from the Skyward recommended vendor Nelco and the checks come with a perforation in the stub to be able to print that way. We are wasting money and time by having to print vouchers and make photocopies. I'm surprised more districts haven't complained about this. This is an enhancement…

    Thank you for submitting this idea. Nelco is the authorized partner of compatible paper forms for the Skyward software. All W-2 and 1099 forms, checks, and school forms are guaranteed 100% compatible. Any issues with the check layout will need to be handled by Nelco as Skyward is unable to alter the format in anyway.

  11. Combine checks for individual vendors

    It would be great if checks to the same vendor could be combined like they can on the Financial Management side. It is the same concept of having several purchase orders and sending one check to the vendor. The negative impact is that we are wasting paper checks by not combining.

    We hear and understand the value of this request. We appreciate everyone voting and commenting on this request. We did not take this request lightly; we’ve reviewed it and conducted a thorough analysis of the project with our development team. Currently, it’s not something on the roadmap for development.

  12. Coupons with On-line Ordering

    When using the on-line ordering especially for Quill they have coupon codes you have to enter to get money off depending on how much you order. One of the secretaries that was ordering didn't find a way to add the code. She called Quill and she said we had to check with Skyward. She put in a call to Skyward and they told her we needed to ask for the enhancement. Is it possible that we can get this added?

  13. Clone Substitute as part of Time Off Trans Clone

    It would be great to have the option of cloning the Substitute as part of the Time Off transaction clone process. I most often use the clone process for FMLA or long-term situations and many times the substitute is the same for the whole period. As it is right now I can clone the time off but then have to edit each transaction any way to update the sub field.   14. Attaching a paycode to a time off entry

    We have employee's that work 2 positions in the District. They submit their time off to individual supervisors per the job the system automatically applies the Time Off to their primary pay code. We would like to be able to assign another pay code to a time off entry.   15. Column heading updated to Status of Insurance Request

    Online open enrollment has 1 important column without a header. It is currently listed as S. It should be spelled out like all the other header columns. Status of Insurance Request. This would eliminate an abundance of phone calls asking what the status is on their enrollment. Yes it common sense to check that column but apparently not to none benefit people.

  16. Select Phone Category Field in Employee Access

    Enable employees to maintain their phone numbers and select Phone Category and Type. This information would then populate the information on the Phone/Email tab. District could have a Notification Phone Category so that users could select to use for school closing. Data could then be exported and uploaded to 3rd party software. Districts are currently requesting the information it is not updated in Skyward only in the 3rd party software. Would allow single entry of data.   17. Web Cash Receipt Account Button

    In PaC the functionality to click on the Account button takes the user to the Chart of Accounts module so that a user can look up descriptions see history open PO's which helps in cross referencing if the correct code is being used or copy the same description that was utilized before. The web version has three different places to look up the account number but it does not allow the user to go to the chart of accounts or account profile. Why not?

  18. Employees need to identify type of phone and email

    Employees need to be able to identify which type of phone and email each one is. Currently they can’t identify any phone number and only emails 2-4 can be identified via employee access. On the HR side I can however identify phone 2 and 3 but not one. Our request would be that via employee access they can identify all phone numbers and email addresses.   19. AR Statement Pymts Listing

    When printing and emailing AR statements it would be nice if the "Payments" section would be listed differently. Payors do not understand how they are listed now.
    If the payments could be listed chronologically by full payment only like in tab "4 Payment" in Payor Master it would be much more readable and cut down on a lot of phone calls.

  20. ER 27 for Retirees based on calendar month not pay period

    System is creating an ER27 adjusting the days and hours worked based on sub tracking (which is pay period) when retirees have to be reported by calendar month. We are submitting ER20's every month with the correct hours and days for the calendar month and the next month an ER 27 is adjusting it and it shouldn't be. We are deleting the ER27 prior to submitting them.
