Sharing Selection Parameters in True Time Utilities
When you are in True Time > Setup > Utilities > Time Sheets Mass Deny I KNOW that you can share your selection parameters with other users. HOWEVER, when another user tries to use a selection parameter that I have set they are UNABLE to revise the times that the denial is for. Why have a share button if they can't edit all the fields?

True Time Totals Report Pay Pay Codes
We have multiple employees who work multiple jobs, each under a different pay code. I would like to be able to pull a report in True Time for total hours worked BY PAY CODE. Right now, when pulling the True Time Report-Employee Summary Report, the report displays all hours worked. In order to pull hours just for para educator work, I have to go in week by week and manually add up the para hours as the report I mentioned above only displays total hours. There is no way to differentiate hours worked by job/pay code. This is a HUGE…

Add Skyward login link to TrueTime emails notifying supervisors when an employee submits their timesheet.
When a supervisor is emailed that there is a time off request waiting their approval, there is a link in the email that takes them to Skyward. That link is not in the email notifying the supervisor that their employee submitted a timesheet. Is it possible to get that link in the timesheet submitted email to the supervisor?

True Time Edits
Currently True Time has widgets for Timesheets Waiting My Approval and Time Off Waiting My Approval. Could you add a widget for True Time Edits or Timesheets Edits Waiting My Approval. Employees can add an Edit Note, but Approvers have to go and find the requests rather than being notified. We would like an email notification to go to Approver when an Edit is requested and then also a widget so they can see Edit requests on their Home Page.

1. Just for clarification, whenever a user makes an edit to a timesheet note, you would want the approvers to get an email notification?
a. With this, would this only be if they edited after submission of the timesheet?
2. The 2nd portion you are looking for a similar widget to the time off approvals widget?
Thank you for your additional input, the idea will remain open for continued voting by the Skyward community.

True Time
I have input a Skyward ticket to see if setting the order of pay codes in the employee's True Time clock view was possible and was told there was not a way to do this and to submit as an idea.
I want to be able to have pay codes listed in a specific order within the True Time time clock view. For some employees with multiple codes, it would decrease errors if we could list the codes in a way that makes sense. I am not a big believer in multiple codes, it increases the risk of error and…

TImesheet Approvals
It would be helpful for timesheet approvers to be able to mass approve timesheets even if they are over or under the scheduled hours. It is time consuming to have to look at each time sheet if required to approve it.
1 voteThank you for submitting this idea.
It would be helpful for us to know what Timekeeping Rules you currently have set up at your district. There may be some adjustments you can make that would no longer require approvers to review each one that is over or under scheduled hours.
We suggest reviewing the options highlighted in the attached screenshot. If these options are set at your district it will prevent mass approval of timesheets.

True Time Exception Report
On the True Time Exception Report it would be helpful to have an option for employees who are not clocking in/out for lunch. We have quite a few number of employees who are doing this and we need to correct the issue with them.

Have you tried creating a Data Mining Report where the Total Hours worked are greater than a certain amount, but the lunch hour duration is less than a certain amount?
It could looks something like the attached example.

True Time Reports/History for Inactive Employees
When a Classified Employee resigns, we deactivate them so they no longer have access to Employee Access. This includes removing them from org charts, deactivating pay records, time off, etc. However, there are times that we'd like to go back and see time sheets. At this point, we have to reactivate them and put them back on an org chart to be able to see anything in True Time. Is there any way to have them inactive, but be able to keep the time sheet history active and easy to get to?

Mass assign work schedules - ask for confirmation prior to update
When mass assigning work schedules in TT, when viewing the report after hitting run, ask the question "Are you sure you want to commit to changes?" This is asked all over the place when making changes in employee management.

In the meantime, we suggest clicking "Report" to preview the mass assignment changes in the report first, and then clicking "Run" to commit changes. There will be a pop-up once you hit "Run" that says "Are you sure you want to Mass Assign the following work schedule for MM/DD/YYYY to MM/DD/YYYY to the selected employees?"

Have TT recognize non scheduled days from empoyee Manangement calendar
Please have TT look at the employees Employee Management calendar for all of the days...paid holiday (as it does now) AND non scheduled days. It is double the work to build individual calendars in EM and edit schedules for non-scheduled work days.
2 votesThank you for submitting this Product Idea.
We suggest submitting a Service Call so one of our Customer Success Representatives can assist you with setup. Our system should already be able to read paid holidays and non-scheduled days (or non-work days) from the same calendar.

Please add to the configuration to either select to allow or prohibit mass approve for True Time sheets
We would like to be able to have an opportunity to turn off the mass approve True Time hours.
Our supervisors are not reviewing them when using that option. If there are notes attached it will put a hard stop to those particular timesheets but we really need it for a district setting. When we did our Empowerment training with Marc Johnson he could see how this would be very beneficial to districts.17 votes -
We would like to prohibit employees from submitting timesheets before all hours are accounted for based on the scheduled hours.
Employees are submitting timesheets either before all time off hours are imported or are forgetting to input time off or enter it correctly for various reasons; they may leave in an emergency situation, they don't account for lunch times, etc. They then submit their time sheet short of what their scheduled weekly hours should be. It would be great to prohibit employees from submitting until all hours are accounted for. It would allow it to be corrected much much sooner than when it has reached the payroll department and very close to when the payroll needs to be processed and…
11 votesHello!
We have a few options that you can try to resolve some of these scenarios you have listed.
We cannot prohibit employees from submitting timesheets before all hours are accounted for, but you can set a requirement for the employee to select a reason why their timesheet is short on hours when the timesheet is at least X less than their weekly schedule time.
For your approvers, there is a setting where you can display timesheets in a different color when they are under a certain # of hours of their schedule.
If your employees have an annualized rule, you could have a time off record created for any hours you are short.

Allow us to see if an emloyee has the true time button when setting them up
There are so many things that need to be set up before an employee can see their True Time module. Even though we can see that employees appear in a Timekeeping rule it doesn't mean they have the ability to see/use the TT button . If we could see if they have it when we are in their profile under the blue circled i like we can use check estimator it would avoid having to log in as the employee and ensuring they have the button open to them. There are too many variables that need to align and often…

Data Mining True Time
Need Time Sheet History, specifically Time sheet status to be available in data mining. This could then be used to compare with the Missing Timesheet report. The Timesheet History field should automatically pull the available statuses from Payroll > True Time > History. Specifically looking for Submitted/Unsubmitted/Denied, but others would be good as well.

Start date needs to print on missing timesheet reports if you can't change the programing
We really, really need to be able to either have the system block employees from being reported with an unsubmitted timesheet or at a minimum have the start date of the current position printed on all missing timesheet reports.
We end up wasting so much time going back to look at their start dates because they pull in with just being in the timekeeping group. Why couldn't the system even use the scheduled dates for the baseline of when to pull in?
This is not only upsetting to us in the payroll department but our administration in the buildings are…5 votesThank you for submitting this idea. We need your feedback:
Could you provide a screenshot of what they have set up for parameters? Location: HR\PA\CP\TT.
We’d specifically like to know what you have selected under Timesheet Statuses to include:
Do you have the fourth option “Include timesheets that have no transactions” checked? If it is checked it will make it so the report is wide open.
If you are running it wide open, what are your dates?

Changing Employee Schedules
In the employee profile, under the TrueTime tab, in Workweek Schedule. It would be helpful if when you made a change to the schedule it would ask you if you would like to make that change for just that week or if you would like it changed going forward. In my District I need to make changes to one specific week to get the Time off to import correctly. Currently to be able to do that I have to change the week I want and then go to the next week and change it back to the original schedule.
4 votesThank you for submitting this product idea.
Could you explain the process behind why you need to change the weeks to get the Time Off to import correctly?
How often are you making changes to the schedule?
Thank you!

Add Utility to import Access Codes to True TIme.
Currently, must use Create Badge Import with Create Access Code option. Recommend splitting the Create Access Code option from the Badge Import to make it easier to import Access Codes that are not tied to a badge.

Payroll department needs to be able to change pay codes without denying timesheet
Payroll really needs to be able to change the pay code when they are processing True Time. Too many people select the wrong pay when clocking in on the app which then reduces the annualized pay amount and charges the funds to another, incorrect, account number.
The process of having to go in deny it, wait for the employee to change, then get re-approved is not efficient whatsoever!6 votesHave you tried any of the following suggestions?
(1) Have you tried excluding pay codes that you don’t want? There is the ability to exclude pay codes that you don’t want employees tracking time against from True Time. This can be done with district wide or by timekeeping rule.
(2) You mentioned the app. Does that mean that the employees are having the biggest issue on the mobile app? When employees have multiple pay codes to track time against. the primary pay code is indicated in pretenses. This should happen automatically.
(3) Is it a business practice to deny the Time Sheet, wait for the employee to change it, re-approve and re-submit? HR should have the ability to update the pay code from the Employee Profile in the Web.
Thank you!

Increase the field size for True Time Code for Access to at least 9 characters/position
Have the ability to manually enter a True Time Code for Access that is at least 9 characters or digits.
