Inactive Families Enrolling into NSOE get stuck
We have had several situations where a former (inactive) family wants to re-enroll, and since they don't have any active students they can't get into a family access account. But they also can't request an account through the new student portal because they already have an email in the system. They are stuck in a catch-22.

I have been working with my programmer on this issue. He has gone into the code and this is how the code is set up:
If an existing Family Access login has Allow Family Access still checked they should be able to log on directly to NSOE (don’t need a new separate NSOE account) if they know their login/password. The login area just needs to be set to Enrollment Access.
If you want to mass change that status there is a utility to mass remove Family Access to guardians without Active Students. It can be found at this menu path from the 000 entity: WS\FA\FM\PS\UT\WA
If you uncheck/remove the Allow Family Access, so that they can request a new NSOE account, that will be a separate account. The registrar will need to match them to the existing guardian in the system if they want to use that guardian…

Allow the order of NSOE step to be changed
We would like to be able to change the order of the steps in NSOE. For instance, we want to have parents fill out step 6 (custom forms) before adding requested documents (step 5).

Provide more access for non-primary families
It's not right for schools to be put in the predicament of choosing one guardian over another to be "primary" in divorced family. Equal parental rights should have equal parental access in the system. I understand there may be cases where one guardian can overwrite another guardian's information on the student, but as long as that information is tracked and perhaps put through the pseudo-changes approval process, then it can be managed.

Add IBC Vendor to Mass Add Special Programs Utility
Add IBC Vendor field to the Mass Add Special Programs for Post Secondary Certification. The IBC Vendor field is a required field and is usually the same for each certification within each district.

In the online registration set up I would like to be able to add multiple Custom forms under 1 step.
I would like to be able to add multiple custom forms under one step of online registration. Perhaps Athletics and have 5 forms a,b,c,d,e instead of adding 5 steps to fill out 5 athletic custom forms. Same as the verify student information tab.

Attendance comment report
The Attendance Comment Report is used by our elementary school. But instead of homeroom number, it would be more helpful to have homeroom teacher and student grade on this report. The sort by Date/Student doesn't even have HR number. We would love for HR teacher and grade level to be a choice on this report.

Create Utility to Mass Add/Update Bill Codes
Create a Utility to Mass Add or Update Bill Codes. Example: Our equipment damages accounts changed, so we have to manually update each Bill Code for each piece of IT equipment. Don't want to have to update every Bill Code with the same data. Instead be able to upload a file with the data to update or with all data to Add new codes.

Add the ability to filter on special codes in the gradebook progress reports or missing assignment reports
I have several teachers that have requested a way to track late assignments. They use a special code of Late for this but there is no way to print a report for only students with late assignments. They would like this for RTI purposes .

A module that would allow schools to print ID cards using a created template.
The ability to upload a created template into Skyward where we can print student ID's (including creating a bar code).
Unless there is already the ability that I do not know about.

A report for grades that shows the number of courses failed by grade level and to be able to compare between 2 school years.
A report in Skyward that shows the number of courses failed by grade level? By course? I'm not looking for specific names. I need to be able to compare those numbers between last year and this year.
Specifically comparing quarters from year to year (T1, T2, T3, T4)

Allow student names to include an apostrophe when appropriate
Many cultures utilize an apostrophe when naming their children. Currently skyward doesn't allow this. I teach kindergarten and we spend a lot of time focusing on our names and talking about how important they are. I am having a hard time explainging to my student why his name looks incorrect on his report card. :( In this day and age of diversity and tolerance, maybe this is something you should consider changing within your platform?

Message Center Individual Email
In the virtual world we currently now all live in we have found a need to be able to complete mail merge letters with select information that just applies to that individual and we then want to be able to send this information via email to students and/or guardians. Like a process where I can pick students I want and attach a document that only applies to them and send it to them individually from a list. EX: Class list that would supply individual students with their login information and password for a project specific to them

Medication Expiration Dates in Data Mining or Medication Reports

There is no way to run a medication report for the Expiration Date Field on Track Medication Inventory. Please add the Expiration Date Field to Data Mining. This will help nurses keep track of expiration dates, even when the Family Access Automated Email is not enabled.It would also be helpful to add the Expiration Field to Medication Reports so you can set up a report and task to help you keep track. Add school issued device to student check out form
Can we add, to the student check out form, an area to indicate that their school issued device has been returned? Or better yet, could we add in the Web Access AUP area, a way to indicate who has a device and possibly the tracking number on it? Maybe have the ability to import from Destiny (as an example). Then have that pull into the form as well.

NSOE - NY Enrollment Enable FA
Hello:
It would be extremely helpful if, after an NSOE application has been approved for NY (next school year) that the Family Access Account could also become active for that student prior to the year-end roll over. Guardians who apply via NSOE are granted access to FA however if the approval is for next year and they then log in FA during the current year, they get a message stating: "This user does not have access to Family/Student Access" which causes confusion for guardians who have an accepted application. Add a checkbox that could be unchecked if the alternate teacher should not be reported on the DOE-CP.
We have to add staff as an alternate teacher on a class meet for various reasons: para responsible for taking attendance, substitute teachers who need access to digital resources, other staff members and/or teachers needing access to digital resources. When pulling data for the DOE-Certified Positions, all staff members who are added to the meet appear on the report. A checkbox that could be unchecked when the staff member or teacher should not be pulled on the CP would prevent them from appearing on the report and prevent all the "missing responsibility code" errors that appear on the DOE-CP report.…

Automatic Email Setup when Fee Activity Changes (in Fee management configuration)
We currently use the automated emails for new fees by bill code. The problem is that we cannot configure what the emails say by entity. It would be great if you can configure this by entity and not district wide only.

Request Courses - Remove a "Selected Course" from the "Available Courses" column
Once a course has been selected in the "Course Requests" for future scheduling please remove it from the "Available Courses". It causes confusion for some as they think there is a bug in the system and creates support calls. Logically, your "Selected Courses" should no longer be "Available Courses".

Sort Mailing Labels by Student Last Name or Student Demographic Fields
The Family Census Report where you can run Family Mailing labels does not have the ability to be sorted alphabetically by student last name.
You also cannot run mailing labels based on basic demographic indicators.
For instance, we want to run all free and reduced students mailing labels and organize them by student last name alphabetically.
Data mining is NOT an option that can be used for this because our secretaries do not have security access to enter the food service password to run these reports.
There are multiple times a year when the nurse needs to send out notifications…
