Texas - CCMR module/tab needed
Texas has added CCMR (College/Career/Military Readiness) as a criteria for our state accountability ratings. We need a CCMR module as well as a tab on the student profile that shows where each student is in meeting the state standard. Mask Staff / Student SSN
We would like for all SSN to be masked on reports. This would be staff and student SSN. We can prevent staff SSN from being viewed based on the level of security. However, the SSN will still show on reports. We would like for the number to not show (like confidential phone numbers) or at least only show the last four digits.

Civil Rights Report
Make the printed report from the extract area in Civil Rights be like the maintain area. In maintain you see the totals and details of each category together. In the printed report you have to look for the details to go with the totals. Not logical at all!!!

Texas - Need a CTE 2 coherent sequence coding utility for students
Please create a Texas CTE student coherence sequence coding utility. Texas allows us to code students as a "2" if they have a 4 year plan to take a coherent sequence of 2 or more CTE courses for 3 or more credits and they are enrolled in or have completed a semester of courses that are part of their coherent sequence. All of these elements are easily identified in Skyward by looking at schedules, 4 year plans, endorsement pathways, courses, and credits. However, our CTE staff have to spend hours paging through 4 year plans to identify students.

PA - Start using separate enrollment transaction dates and enrollment dates
In PA, our enrollment template asks us to report separate enrollment transaction dates (the date the student was entered in the SIS) and the enrollment date (the first date the student physically showed up to attend school). Skyward does not provide a way to enter or store a separate transaction date. It forces us to use only the enrollment date as both the transaction date and the enrollment date. This is very problematic because we must enter students into the system days before the student actually attends school. We need both dates. We can't keep flipping dates (tracking them manually…

Stop auto entering 9th grade entry dates
When a new student enrolls in grade 9-12, Skyward is automatically entering the enrollment date as the 9th grade entry date. We have to look at the previous school's records to determine when the student entered 9th grade for the first time and manually change it in Skyward anyway because all students in grades 10-12, and some in grade 9 who are repeating, have a different 9th grade entry date than the enrollment date. PEIMS - Special Programs closed at end of year and opened for new year (Rollover Process)
I am currently new to this position and I have seen lots of PEIMS miscoding under special programs/AT RISK/SPED, etc. Since we report every year, I would hate to clean up historical data. Is there a way we can code these programs/fields on a year to year basis? I would love to see the ability to mass end all programs and mass open for new year during the end of year/rollover process.

Texas AAR date fields required--option for mass update
In Texas, we are required to include the following date information on our transcripts and through TREX. Speech Requirement met, CPR training, and Peace Officer Interaction training. Only the Speech Requirement date has a mass update capability. Extract students WITH PASECURE IDs
Goal: Ease of making corrections.
If there is a need for correction ie name change; birthdate typo; gender reassignment etc. we should have an export file created to re-upload to PA Secure ID to make the correction.

TREX Validation notification
Please add a pop up notice or tab that will show that there is a validation error with the proposed file in the maintain area. The TREX report shows it at the end but that means we have to run that report each time. If a notification or tab showed in the modify area it could be resolved without running the report. Many times campus users especially at the beginning of the year are trying to fulfill many requests and they skip the step of running the TREX report only to get their file rejected by the state. Add Service ID as a field that can be viewed
I would like to see service ID and other Texas specific fields added as a options that could be added or removed from the column view in curriculum master and course master. Having this there would make verification of the data much simpler than having to generate a report.

Able to submit multiple random records for export
There are many times when multiple students need PIMS corrections. Currenlty there is only the option to submit 1 individual or the whole entity.

PIMS: Extract a list of multiple students
Often I have multiple students that I need to extract PIMS data for. Currently the PIMS extract templates only all for ranges of students or 1 student at at time. Literally hours of time will be saved by PIMS administrators if a list of students could be extracted at a time. This is common functionality in other SIS systems.
Add a "By Individual" range option and then an "Individual" button" that allows the user to build a list of students. Would it be possible to have the option to display Idaho state EDUIDs in Family/Guardian Access? We have a request from counselors that students applying for certain things need their state ID's.

Customer's need the Keep Attendance field from the Course Master added as a field available to export in Skybuild. This is a requirement for the Illuminate DnA export which is used widely throughout MI.

Add Link to use WISEid in Portfolio Importer
Request to add "Link to" option for WiseID for Portfolio Importer. We attach the .pdf ISR reports for assessments to the student's portfolio. In order to do this in mass we rename the files to the student's ID that is available either in the file name (NWEA) or on the page : Forward ACT Aspire. Forward uses the student's NameID (the Skyward ID that is sent to the state) and ACT Aspire used the WiseID.

TAKS still appears on Withdrawal Form
Because we no longer are in the TAKS business is there any way that line item on the withdrawal form can be changed to STAR or EOC and show those scores instead? It is wasted space right now.
Most people don't even know what TAKS is especially at the younger grade levels since that test has nearly reached its end life. It would seem more appropriate to have current terminology for testing on the withdrawal papers rather than outdated testing. Thanks for considering this updated change to the form.24 votes
