Stop auto entering 9th grade entry dates
When a new student enrolls in grade 9-12, Skyward is automatically entering the enrollment date as the 9th grade entry date. We have to look at the previous school's records to determine when the student entered 9th grade for the first time and manually change it in Skyward anyway because all students in grades 10-12, and some in grade 9 who are repeating, have a different 9th grade entry date than the enrollment date. The auto population causes issues because if the data entry person forgets to make the change, there is no way to know that a bad date will be uploaded to the state without reviewing a full data mining report. It would be easier to just leave the field blank (don't auto populate it), so we would get a state reporting error and know to address it sooner than sending up bad dates and maybe never catching the errors until much later.
