  1. Changes 1099 Values in Check Request module

    When I was running our 1099's for the 2017 CY all of our vendors were defaulted to box 7. As indicated below from Skyward I would need to un-check the box when I am looking at check requests. This is not a great option for us as we are not a PO district and I would have to edit every check request to un-check the 1099 box as the system auto checks this box because we have 1099 information setup.

  2. Allow Users to Attach Documents to Return Request

    Users should be able to attach documents and pictures to their return requests so that they can take a picture of a damaged item and include it as backup on the return request. Add an Attach button to this screen and allow users to upload documents and pictures.

  4. Want subtotal of invoices

    On PaC the invoice tab shows a subtotal of all invoices both Batch and Open. The web version of the screen does not show a total of invoices. Want a total of invoices to display like the PaC side.

  5. Assignment Calculation - Whole Dollar

    Need 3rd option to round to nearest whole dollar. It then calculate contract amounts that are in agreement with union contracts and published salary schedules. Duplicate existing penny rounding except round to whole dollars I would hope to help protect and document things like pictures screen shots etc that can be found and linked to a specific student and a specific incident

  6. Add comparative columns for amended budget

    When I do an amended budget I am limited on comparative columns (customize column 1 and 2) that would be meaningful (see attached Word doc). I am only able to select data from the prior two years. For an amended budget the current year activity and budget would be much more meaningful and should be added as an option for an amended budget. The negative impact of not making the change is the frustration that the budget entry isn't meaningful for an amended budget.   7. Inability to Post-Date transactions to SBAA

    There is not a way to Post-Date transactions in SBAA more than 90 days. So you CAN NOT post prior-Year adjustments in SBAA. Which means if you do not close out SBAA before approx. November 28 for a August 31 year-end you can not close out the year properly. You need to let Administrators either post date further back than 90 days or be able to post Previous Year adjustments.

  8. rule added for rated leave processing

    need a way to add a rule to time off for rated leave so it will pull from oldest leave earned first in rated table. want the system when a used transaction for rated is entered it will take from the oldest leave earned first until all the balance is zero and then move to the next year on the person and role the zero balance rate line off the system as far as be able to be used.

  9. Adding cascading groups to time off limited access

    We need the ability to set up cascading groups for time off limited access for rated leave. So a Secretary adds a sick transaction to someone that is an administrator the system would pull from admin rated cap and last sick. Clerk would enter a sick transaction and the system would pull from the correct cascading group based on the rules from cascading rule.

  10. Would like 'Time Left' field to be available in DM

    Our district sends out letters monthly to employees who have 6 or less sick days left. We are trying to come up with a more streamlined solution than sending out a paper letter. The time left field is currently not available in data mining. If we were able to pull this field for Sick Leave then we could set a range of 0 to 6 days left. This would generate a report with the exact employees that need letters.

    Try this instead:

    Access this same information through Employee Time Off Tracker. With the tracker, you can select employees and the time off codes you want to see. Then on the browse, you can use the filter to see employees with specific amounts. You are able to get the data you need through this method and still use task manager to notify employees.

  11. Add Alert for PD requests pending approval

    I think I may have asked this before but another supervisor has requested that I ask Skyward to add this feature. Professional development requests awaiting supervisor approval do create an email that alerts the supervisor of the request. However the alert feature within Skyward does not include those pending PD requests. I just found two PD requests over a year old that were waiting approval from the supervisor. The supervisor was unaware they were there because the onscreen alert (the yellow ball that indicates time sheets time off requests or requisitions requiring approval) doesn't include PD requests.

  12. Physical Inv. Report

    We need a Class code to be added to The Physical Inv. Report. We would also like an Exclude button this would be MOST HELPFUL to Exclude a "Dept." or "Class" code. We have many departments that do not need to see all Class items. For example technology want to see C - Computers not everything else. Buildings & Grounds only want to see B&E Buildings and Equipment. For large districts this sorting feature is extremely important please make every attempt to add this feature we have gone to long with out it.

  13. Yellow Folder

    Is it possible to have a program like yellow folder for the HR department. How are you competing with the software Yellow Folder. We need a program we can enter the employees reprimands weight limit restrictions and everything Yellow Folder offers. We need to be able to pull reports and sort the information for all the employees. Be able to sort all information entered and pull reports.

  14. Delete by Employee with Online Forms

    You cannot currently delete an online form process for a given employee. There are instances where an employee may not need to complete the online form such as resignation or the employee letter that's posted is incorrect etc. In that case you cannot delete anyone who was assigned the online form unless you log into their profile and complete the form for them. It will always show as incomplete or outstanding.     To remove an individual from an Online Form, the Online Form will need to be deactivated temporarily. Once you deactivate you can click the Activate button again and then the Selection Parameters screen will come up where you will be able to make changes to remove the individual from the Online Form. You can do this even if the employee has already completed the Online Form.

    Note: This will only work if you make your employee selection by individual employee.

  15. Quick Add option to invoice entry

    In the Invoice Detail Lines/Accounting a Quick Edit/Add option would save time for invoices with many codes.

    We’d like to thank everyone who voted on this idea and took the time to either respond to requests for feedback or took the time for conversations over the phone.

    We’ve been researching this request and after many conversations decided not to pursue this enhancement. We would love to deliver a quick add option to AP Invoice and fully understand the benefits from the user’s perspective. However, the complexities involved with the various account allocation options significantly complicates our ability to provide a one-size-fits-all approach.

  16. email PO orgin for items marked as pending receipt

    To generate an email when the AP department puts an invoice in "pending receipt status". This would save them from having to send an email out separately to remind them or verify that they have received the items in question.

    Add a notification similar to those that are under "user preference" for requisitions. Or also it could be possible added under the FM Config where we can set up to have an email sent to the originator when a PO exceeds to the PO amount by a certain %.

  17. TX: TASB Filter Mass Processing Preview

    When using the TASB Filter Mass Processing add 2 new fields to the Preview. 1. TASB Midpoint Amount - since this is different for each person this would pull based on their Job Type on the Assignment plus the TASB Groups setup for the year. 2. Calculated Increase - because each increase will be different again because of the TASB Group Midpoint and the percent or amount defined on the Filter add a new column before New Code that will show the calculated increase.   18. Increase PA UC decimal places from 4 to 6 digits

    Our district does the finances for a charter school that resides within our district. This charter school's PA Unemployment Compensation rate as directed by the PA Dept. of Labor is 0.036785.
    Skyward currently only allows 4 decimal places so I'm only able to enter 0.0367 or 0.0368.

    If this isn't something that can be fixed in the current Skyward software please make sure to include it in Qmlativ.

    We could really use the ability true time overseer.
    We would like another person to have the ability to approve timesheets in the event the supervisor is absent. We would like the ability to give them permissions to a specific group (like bus drivers) much like with can do with time off overseers...

  20. Multiple building fields on Personnel tab

    It would be very helpful to show all buildings if an employee actually works at more than one location on the Personnel tab. If we had a primary building and alternate buildings showing it would be great to have these new fields available in Data Mining. Users now run building reports in DM but the employee may not be on their list since it does not appear in Personnel as the "main" building so the report is not accurate.     Thank you for submitting and voting on this Idea. We’ve spent some time here at Skyward doing research for this request and have determined after a thorough analysis that we will not be pursing this development.

    We discovered, that if we add multiple buildings to the employee profile, this change would create large ramifications. Building is found in many places throughout the system and the effort, impact and risk to update is not something we will be able to address at this time.

    We recommend using Employee Management Data Mining to report on Employees and all their Assigned Buildings.

    In Data Mining use Assignment as the Driver Table, In Field Areas select Position, and under Position select Position Building Code, Position Building state, and Position Building Desc. To report on all buildings associated with an Employee.
